so I just discovered Live From Averno

My eyes have been opened to what is actually happening in this town. Quinn and Will are a year above me and I've seen them a few times aroumd campus. but the last mayor went missing?? this town was founded by people who killed a family of witches?? Quinns friends went missing too??? Aaaaaaaahhhhh

but also the podcast is really good and I really like Quinns voice and the music is soo spooky.

The first section, dangerous cryptids. If you ever see a galaxy-like butterfly in the forest, do NOT touch it. Do NOT try to take a picture of it. Just run away. Fast.

I made the mistake of trying to take a picture, my arm still hurts after it rains but I gotta sick scar. 9/11/20

-Small, with unique galaxy-like patterns, never seen on any other butterfly. Two pure white eyes with no pupils. It also has a 3rd eye that looks oddly human, giving it an odd aura

-Which ever flower it sits on will grow bigger and fuller, luring people in

-Once the flower is picked it will suck on the person's flesh like a mosquito. Most people wouldn't think anything of this, until they begin to feel numb, like the blood in the area of where the butterfly was sucking had gone away entirely.

-the butterfly will lay its eggs in the hole that it sucked through, once the eggs hatch the babies will tear through the victims skin, usually causing fatal damage

-Extremely dangerous

I also know that tweezers and a knife is good for removing potential eggs in your arm. I’m keeping the eggs in a jar. Hopefully when they hatch they won't eat through the glass.)

Bea (sane, can control him when the brain cells he absorbed from Emory make a horrible decision) is nowhere to be found. The Forest of Averno

Shadows move in the corners of your eye, they comfort you without knowing why, you can almost hear the whispers of the trees, if only the rustling of the leaves were a little bit quieter, you begin to climb high into a mighty oak, knowing that should you fall the forest would cradle you in her grasp, laying you softly apon the mossy ground, as long as the first tree in the center of these wood stands, besides the ruin of an old hut, the mysterious forces of this forest shall protect its kin.

- It’s Jamie. My legit reasoning for this is because Jamie seems like more the headmaster type and he seems like he has connections

- It’s Aster reincarnate. While we’re unsure if reincarnation exists in Averno, but someone created A New School, had the spirit of Aster deep within them and they created a new school to be the place that Aster intended of them.

Hey there demons it's your favourite chaos gremlin here with the first episode of Preston Watch, a show where I talk about adorable things my boyfriend is doing (aka the most delightful thing on this hellsite.)

Today Luisa has given my Beloved Bastard a pair of fuzzy socks and since then he's covered himself with every fluffy thing within fifty feet. This includes all of Nini's blankets, a few of her pillow pets, every pillow in the Nest, and my (clean, ya nasties) bathrobe which is kind of tiny on him but he's so fucking cute. Like. Who gave him the right. The freaking audacity. I'm having a mental breakdown, my last two brain cells are on fire, he's got a fuzzy towel wrapped around his head and several blankets around him like a burrito and he looks so pleased and sleepy and perfect and I'm going to s c r e a m also Cordelia is threatening to take my phone away if she sees me post anything about Preston so I'm going to click that beautiful blue button and boot it before she checks
