A Bigbadaboom Elephant in #Pilanesberg National Park in South Africa🇿🇦, just northwest of Johannesburg. Compared to the heavyweights like #Kruger National Park, Pilanesberg sees much less visitors. As usual in South Africa, you can also do a self-drive, which means you don't have to book a guided safari or tour; you can simply use your own or rented vehicle to drive into the park at your own pace and try and find its free-roaming animals in their natural habitat. The animals I saw on this one day trip were Giraffes, Elephant, Wildebeest/Gnu, Zebras, Rhinoceros, and lots of Impala Antelopes besides tons of birds and Fowl. Unfortunately didn't see any Cheeetah, Lions and Hyena, which are present in the park as well.
