Fernanda Dias (Secondary Research)

Fernanda Dias Lopes is a Brazilian youtuber who makes stunning 2d animations.

This was the first animation that she had created, consisting of an animation test she did for Tadashi Hamada, a character from the movie Big Hero 6. It features him getting lit on fire, in reference to how in the movie where he was caught in an incident where the building was engulfed in flames and he had been caught in it and had passed away.

She has mentioned that she uses Photoshop with Animdessin 2, tablet Deco mini7 and MacBook Pro 2010 for her animations.

She gained popularity through her original series known as 'Witch Bunny' and gained attention specifically through one youtube video, gaining over 6 million views and she used a song called Trouble by Annelle and Annelle had found out about the use of the song for the animation and approved it.

Witch Bunny is a somewhat new romance series produced by Fernanda back in 2019 which consisted of mainly 2 characters, including a witch named Lorena who has a bunny familiar called 'Coco' and a Wizard named Ruan who has a cat familiar called Cafe. Lorena is a witch who has the ability to bring positivity and renewal, the gift of abundance; while Ruan has the ability to give protection and capture evil energies. One of her animations feature this ability distinctly. As of now the animations consist of cute moments of their life.

Besides Witch Bunny, she has other projects she wants to pursue that are currently on hold due to the continuation of Witch Bunny.

This is the first week back in school and the 3rd term of the year. The last whole term of my year 12 actually, that’s why finishing this project in time is very important to me. Looks like I’m on schedule, but I don’t wanna rush and compromise the quality. I did some final adjustments to the script and I’m in for the last 20% of the animation.

These are some new clips and breakdowns I made this year and during the second part of the holiday. I definitely need to do a thorough anatomy study after the exams. Year 12 is hard but yeah it’s pretty fun
