Anne Bellaryn( アン・ベラリン ) is a supporting character of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. She is a Demon Slayer and Moon Hashira ( Tsuki Bashira). She is also the cousin of Giyuu Tomioka

APPEARANCE

Anne is a girl with wavy black hair that is tied back slightly. she has flat bangs but is slightly parted on her right and side bangs that are neck length.

Anne also slightly tugged her back hair to the front of her right and left sides. Right under Anne's left eye has a beauty mark/mole.

Anne was wearing the standard demon slayer uniform but with a skirt. Anne's haori is red with black gradations and a picture of the moon phases on the sleeves and two crescent moons on the back of her haori.

When not on duty, she prefers to wear a kimono with a spider lily pattern on the sleeves and her obi.

PERSONALITY

She's a short-tempered yet charismatic and intelligent , she has a sharp gaze ,but of course she is loyal and loves her friends or family

BACKGROUND

She and her twin sister had a good relationship but as a twin they did not see each other often, because they were not allowed to see each other by their mother.. their mother wanted a son, but her mother gave birth to twin girls and Anne was born first as the older sister. Anne when she was little was often told by her mother to dress like a boy, from wearing a boy's kimono to not being able to grow her hair long.

Anne was only close to her father but since her father died when Anne was 5 years old because for being killed by a demon, Anne became more and more alone. She was also not allowed to meet her twin often, if her mother saw Anne playing with Ayaa or looking like a girl ,her mother would punish Anne, either by beating her or being locked up in the basement until Anne apologized. Anne experienced that until she was 15 years old, until her mother died and at that time Ayaa began to approach Anne trying to slowly make Anne's trauma disappear slowly, even though it was difficult.

Even the scars that Anne experienced since childhood are still there today on his back and back of his neck and Anne began to grow her hair and began to look as she should.

She also intends to enter the demon slayer corps in order to kill all the demons, because demon killed her father.( the demon is kokushibo)

ABILITY

FIRST FORM: DARK MOON, EVENING PALACE ( ICHI NO KATA: YAMIDZUKI - YOI NO MIYA) - Anne draws her katana and performs a singular horizontal slash following a crescent shape, creating numerous chaotic crescent blades along its path, before sheathing it back into her scabbard.

SECOND FORM: PEARL FLOWER MOONGAZING (NI NO KATA: SHUKA NO RŌGETSU) - Anne performs three crescent-shaped slashes while releasing a multitude of crescent moon blades along with them.

THIRD FORM: LOATHSOME MOON, CHAINS ( SAN NO KATA: ENKIDZUKI - TSUGARI)- Anne performs two extremely broad crescent-shaped slashes directly in front of her, from which a storm of smaller crescent moon blades are released.

SIXTH FORM: PERPETUAL NIGHT, LONELY MOON - INCESSANT (ROKU NO KATA: TOKOYO KOGETSU - MUKEN)- Anne rapidly performs a multitude of curved slashes several meters in front of her that releases a wild barrage of crescent moon blades capable of slicing up the surroundings.

SEVENTH FORM: MIRROR OF MISFORTUNE, MOONLIT (SHICHI NO KATA: YAKKYŌ - DZUKIBAE)- Anne performs a frontal crescent-shaped slash that unleashes numerous straight and curved slashes that expand outward.

EIGHTH FORM: MOON-DRAGON RINGTAIL ( HACHI NO KATA: GETSURYŪ RINBI) - Anne performs a massive long-ranged curved slash that leaves dozens of crescent moon blades along its path.

NINTH FORM: WANING MOONSWATHS ( KU NO KATA: KUDARIDZUKI - RENMEN)- Anne performs multiple curved slashes, all in close proximity, that leave numerous crescent moon blades along its path.

FOURTEENTH FORM: CATASTROPHE, TENMAN CRESCENT MOON ( JŪ SHI NO KATA: KYŌHEN - TENMAN SENGETSU) - Anne performs a multitude of curved slashes which expand outward in every direction that incrementally grow in size, essentially creating an omni-directional vortex of crescent moon blades that surrounds her.

STANDARD NICHIRIN KATANA

As a Demon Slayer, Anne carries a standard sized and shaped Nichirin katana which is purplish black in color. Anne's Tsuba Katana has a crescent shape. Anne's katana has a standard sheath which is pitch black.

She is Kuko Harai's cousin and childhood friend, whose mother Yamabuki is the brother of Kuko's father.

She hair is the color of her father's hair, which is black, and the color of her eyes is the color of her mother's.

In Nagoya she was the Shrine Maiden / Miko of the shrine, but since her mother and father separated she stopped being a shrine maiden. She chose to go with her mother to Tokyo instead of going with her father.

Her mother chose to work in Tokyo instead of having to stay in Nagoya and Yamabuki ended up attending a school in Shinjuku while helping her mother earn an income, after school he took part time work at a mini market.As a child she dreamed to be a nurse.

One day her mother told her that her mother used to have a best friend during school and had promised to marry both of their children if the genders were different, but her mother's best friend married and gave birth to a son, then her mother Yamabuki married with her father and gave birth to a Yamabuki brother.

Not long after, her mother's friend moved and did not meet until now, only chat and call . They also agreed to match Yamabuki and her mother's best friend's son.

Yamabuki who heard that was shocked and silent and only nodded to obey her mother's wishes when she was told that her mother's best friend would come tomorrow with his son.

The next day, her mother's best friend came with his son, who turned out to be 17 years older than Yamabuki, but Yamabuki was confused by his appearance unlike 35 years old. He is also said to work at a Shinjuku hospital as a doctor, that's where Yamabuki first met Jakurai Jinguji.

And later she will also meet Doppo and Hifumi.
