Finally finished the little blood vial tokens that I made for my Anje, Maid of Dishonour deck!

I love this deck, the Blood token synergies with Madness and reanimation are really satisfying to me, and it was a lot of fun building around a commander like Anje! And being able to pull out a little vial of blood to set on the table whenever I trigger her ability is just delightful every time

Everything was going absolutely fine. I’d brought my commander, Anje Maid of Dishonour onto the pitch and was ready to break a huge bank of blood vial tokens to drain my opponents’ health and bring my total back up AND attack with Anje (who had been buffed like crazy) with wedding invitation which gives her lifelink and unblockable.

EVERY WAS GOING TO PLAN

Then one player… inexplicably… decided that it was best to attack me (the weaker player) and absolutely break my line-up, opening the utterly overpowered opponent free to ruin both of us.

Commander is painful because part of your plan has to account for crazy players doing reckless things.

Furious. Will have to work on my blood vial deck.

TL;DR - Everything was going fine until it was absolutely terrible.

Resigning myself to the fact that I'll probably have to play commander in some capacity to play magic when I'm in London which means I either need to do an overhaul of my wort, the raidmother storm deck or build a new deck. I've wanted to build a jaxis the troublemaker or anje maid of dishonour deck for a while, but I think the jaxis deck I've got half brainstormed might be too expensive so I'm thinking of building budget anje reanimator or something like that
