“It’s exhilarating, isn’t it, Eileen?”

The fledgeling vampire gave a gasp of pure exultation. Blood dripped from her fanged smile as she nodded drearily at her elder.

“Yes, Lady Anje.”

With a satisfied smirk, the Falkenrath progenitor ruffled the collar of her leather jacket, and pointed to another unconscious noblewoman lying atop a stone plinth on the other side of the room.

“I bet you’re still hungry, aren’t you?”

“Starving,” Eileen groaned.

“Well, feel free to help yourself!”

Eileen sprinted forward with supernatural haste, but stopped just short of the unconscious woman.

“Is something wrong, my child?” Anje’s gracious expression soured at the sight of Eileen’s hesitation.

“I…don’t want to bite her.”

Anje scoffed. “Why not?”

“My fangs feel strange…It felt weird to bite.”

“You’ve never had fangs before now!” Anje snapped.

“So?”

Anje angrily pointed to Eileen’s first victim. “You drank from her just fine!”

“I was hungrier then.”

“Five minutes ago?”

Eileen anxiously gripped one arm too tightly with her claws, scratching herself. “Ow. Yes.”

Anje stared dumbfounded at the other vampire. Finally, she shook her head and pointed again to the human.

“Fine. Don’t bite her. But you just revived, so you still need to drink. Just…scrape her arm and lick. That ought to help with the sensation, if you’re not partial to biting.”

Eileen pondered Anje’s command briefly, then quickly nodded.

“Sounds good to me.”

“I’m glad,” Anje hissed, in a voice dripping with sarcasm. The older vampire shook her head as she watched Eileen do as she was told.

“That’s what works for me, anyhow.”

Eileen’s head snapped up from the noble’s arm. “What was that, Lady Anje?”

“Er, nothing!”

It's a good day when I go 2:0 in a pair of commander games with my friends. I'd say I'm sorry for taking both wins, but that would be a filthy lie.

Game 1 I was playing Anje Falkenrath, milled almost my entire library, then dropped Rise of the Dark Realms to reanimate it all along with Terror of the Peaks and Flayer of the Hatebound.

Game 2 I was playing pirate tribal (Breeches & Malcolm), created a loop with Malcolm + Glint-Horn Buccaneer.

How do Anje and library of leng interact?

She doesn’t.

Library of Leng’s ability only modifies discards you make due to effect, i.e. due to the resolution of a spell or ability. It doesn’t do anything to cards you discard as a cost and so cards you discard to Anje will just be discarded normally without the Librarian getting in your way.
