For this fanny bag I got inspired by the coffee packaging itself. It was mostly white with some real beautiful turquoise writing on it. So I combined it with same colored zippers and a back fabric in teal. Let‘s see how the result will look! Hello New Year! I am motivated! But here is a little recap for 2019! I am a little nerd for numbers and I was interested how many coffee bags I actually saved from the trash last year. So I started estimating and came up with thos e average numbers. I have sewn together over 20.000!!!!! patchwork pieces last year! I used over 800 zippers for all the beautiful bags (🤯). And I wanted to calculate how many coffee bags I recycled. That number was a bit tricky, because each bag is so different in size and how much I can actually use from it. So I used an average 30 pieces per bag and came to the conclusion that I recycled over 650 coffee bags last year. Isn‘t that crazy?
