So as someone who grew up watching MMPR and gotten into sentai, was Zyuranger not as well receive or as popular as MMPR is in the west? Or at least in comparison to other sentai, because of course it’s Daizyujin, because this definitely also feels like appealing to western fans of super sentai

having not seen zyuranger yet, it kind of seems like it's more Important™ than popular? first sentai to introduce a true sixth ranger, the first time the show really went all in on fantasy theming after scifi had been the standard, and it brought in new blood to the series like sugimura noboru, who was head writer for four years, and shirakura shinichiro, who's basically the most influential person working in toei's tokusatsu wing and was acting as chief producer as recently as 2022 on donbrothers

so it's certainly a big turning point for sentai as a franchise but i don't know how many fans these days are going around like "zyuranger is peak", you know? it was very popular with kids at the time though, so if you're of that generation you probably are saying that

Killer Moth AKA Drury Walker* was a human who moved to Gotham from China** with her family as a teenager. His life was outwardly uneventful until his late 40s, when he took a job as the keeper of Gotham's primary coastal lighthouse after the prior keeper had disappeared under unexplained circumstances. She began to experience strange phenomena surrounding the lighthouse and the island surrounding it that led to him being... influenced... by the "mothlamp" inside of the lightroom. His remaining family lost contact with him shortly thereafter. He is not a malignant presence and has few relevant external compulsions, bar the dedicated collection and display of every possible electric light source available to him. Several persons matching her description have outstanding warrants for arrest across Gotham due to petty theft of various hardware and home improvement stores.

That's a good idea. Especially if you know that S7 is currently shown in your country. And you should tag Beta Film this time, they would be the ones caring more about this.

Also, I wonder what Beta Film would think about an anonymous person on Reddit claiming to work in the production who flat out said that Beta Film pushed for the show to continue without John Reardon. I'm very curious about it.

I will start by 100% saying that this is t4f and the stadium’s fault but I also think Taylor is accountable. her concerts were up to 1500/2000 USD when average salary here is around 200 USD. t4f is a producer that taylor’s team picked too, you know? Brazilians are really really angry with her because since the beginning she has been trying to distance herself from everything. she only talked about it in a Stories where she lies that Ana’s died before her show, she uses “I lost a fan” without saying anything about Ana. she started passing out on the second song but the venue did cardiac massage for 40 minutes because they didn’t want to declare her dead at the stadium and receive the fine. when criticism started going heavy in Brazil, several articles about her and travis started appearing as well as several press articles with the same language saying that she did a homage to the fan that died yday when in reality she just played the surprise songs without saying even the first letter of Ana’s name. When people see videos about the surprise song in the future, they’ll never know it was for Ana because it was never connected to her. Fans think Taylor did it because of her and now that’s the lore. everything she’s said about the case is fleeting because she doesn’t want her tour to be stained by such a tragedy. Taylor never even said her name 😭 Ana’s family already said on national television that they didn’t even receive a phone call from Taylor’s team and that they still didn’t have their daughters body 3 days later because they didn’t have the money to bring her home. Fans had to rally to donate money to bring Ana back to her family. Not one peep from taylor. Same with fans suffering on the show line, while fans rallied to distribute trucks of water to people, Taylor’s team didn’t even send a message. there’s people with 2/3rd degree burns because of the show and they still don’t have any support from anyone. is really bizarre how she’s hated today in Brazil, people are pulling several fan stories of American fans passing out and meeting Taylor’s mom and stuff like that. it’s really sad
