I don't like the fact that we can interpret the Djinn making an appearance only to reveal that Nandor has no more wishes (despite the Djinn gifting him three extra wishes at his wedding) as lazy retconning BUT it can also be seen as a sinister note that was easily overlooked because we just assumed that they forgot and had to shoehorn in an explanation as to why Nandor couldn't simply use a wish to fix things but in actuality the reality could very well be that Nandor made an insidious wish that fucked up this entire season somehow and we wouldn't know it until it was too late.

Nandor still has two djinn wishes which means there's a likely chance that he will use them in the final season which means there's a likely chance we will see Local Handsome Man Anoop Desai on our screens ah!

okay but can we talk about how absolutely brilliantly CHAOTIC the press/promo was during wwdits s4 airing

like one minute there was talk about the nandermo bromance, and the next kayvan is talking about them having sex on nandor’s coffin. harvey’s infamous it could be queer, but will it be queer? no :) interview, and then he says how he stans nandermo. harvey said the ending of season four would change everything and we all absolutely lost it. one of the showrunners saying that pine barrens would acknowledge nandermo’s potential to be in a relationship and we all once again lost it before its release. we got confirmation by the showrunners that marwa’s affection towards guillermo was a result of nandor’s wish. the guillermo’s journey livestream in the hours before the premiere. the finale having three different titles (we’ll meet again, then memories, then sunrise sunset). matt berry saying how he asked if guillermo would really say or do something several times during filming. anoop desai (djinn) giving an interview and saying how nandor would do something stupd to mess up guillermo’s relationship. the promos and trailers for each episode being deleted all over the place. the freddieless freddie trailer. the whole youtube video fx made about nandermo. the baby colin youtube account that’s still posting and guillermo’s account that commented on it a lot. the absolute madness of it all that made the fandom experience so great this summer. 

now we have season five coming up, and with the fallout of everything that happened this season bound to come to a head, i can only imagine what it will be like

Sooooo it looks like last night was our last episode of Mawra 😭 but the Djinn WILL be back for more relationship drama 👀

My prediction? By next episode, Mawra is suspiciously absent, and we find out that Nandor used one of his new wishes to un-alive her (HE BETTER FUCKING NOT) or free her to go have her own life, because being married wasn’t what he wanted. Then the Djinn shows up in “Freddie” right before or right after Nandor wishes he never met Guillermo (leading to the “everyone dies” Twitter account description). He’s like, “wow Nandor, you fucked up big time” and hopefully pulls a final wish out of nowhere that will bring everyone back together again.
