you ever think about how fucked up it is that Derrick knew Penelope’s maid was poisoning her, yet he told no one about it and even defended the maid and would have killed Penelope if she had not begged on her knees for forgiveness when he KNEW she was the victim here?

a different take if siyeon actually cut the mansion and its people out by acting as the villain. the maid Emily who did horrendous things to her, she would make the maid lose her job and make sure she wasn't employed anywhere at all. slowly, she would make the employees in the mansion turn against each other slowly just by whispering a few words here and there. the magic she has? she would find a way to curse reynold to forever being an easily angered and reckless fighter. and everyone brushes it off till he 'accidentally' killed a powerful man and his wife distinctly related to the queen. he's sent to be executed. and when derrick tries to handle the situation, some gossiping ladies overhear about the duke eldest son harboring feelings for his stepsister no less. though no one in the mansion knew about it, derrick lost his inheritance as bad actions caused by him were brought to light. his reputation his ruined and nothing will ever go his way any longer, penelope made sure of it. and finally the duke. penelope has been slowly poisoning him with hallucinations and fits of delusions using the butler to her advantage. on the final day of her stay, she shows up to him, and he who is delusioned that it was his wife. penelope pours out all her anger, her trauma, her pain and everything. with a crossbow in hand, she aims for the duke telling him everything and everyone he loves will be cursed by her and her always. she places the crossbow as she leaves, she sets the room ablaze, and the lifeless butler outside the door to the doors of the mansion that she opens with her powers. she leaves behind the duke family and starts anew.

read death is the only ending for villains and damn in another perspective, callisto would be and is already seen as the villain so maybe penelope could've made it her mission to actually kill callisto. get his attention, make him fall in love with her, and kill him with the sweetest smile on her lips as she brings her "family" name into ruins as she exposes their evil deed. and once she's done, penelope supposedly 'ends' herself and starts her life as seen in this world like hers. 👀 whatchu think??
