I've been chipping away at this Ball Jointed Doll project over the past year, and finally I think it is nearing completion! I have swapped the Faceplate style head for an easier to manage Headcap style. I just have to do a final top coat of primer and then he's ready to be shipped off to a casting service. Probably Harucasting if they'll have me. I'm not sure if the sculpted hair can be included in the final pro-casts. I'm thinking I'll need to open a Kickstarter / GoFundMe or Pre-order sort of campaign to raise money for mold making and casting services, with a minimum quantity order of 10. An improved Dog’s cockpit. The first run was a bit soft as most of the walls were 0.5mm thick - the printer is capable of that but it doesn’t make for durable parts. They come off the machine needing some more UV to finish curing.

So now the hatch is thicker x2, the ram attachment points are stronger and the inside has some structural detail that should make the finished item stronger. I also adjusted the joysticks to  be separate items and moved thier position on the supports. I think I might still revisit these to make them more flexible.

This one is going on the photon after one false start - always check your models are flat to the build plate!
