it’s something that i struggle with?? like i’m shy as fuck and it’s annoying cause i gotta adult, ya know? there’s no place for shyness when you’re an adult. i have to talk to people for a job!! goddammit.

okay, conveniently, i just made a playlist of songs that i listen to the most lately and y’all can listen to them here but if i had to pick an absolute top 5 it’d probably be:

- uh huh by julia michaels. it’s acoustic and sweet but also weirdly sexual? like the “uh huhs” are very suggestive, aren’t they? anyway it’s a good song for strutting down the street. like power walking

- thief by ansel elgort. i got the ansel elgort syndrome, not gonna lie lmao. the bass freaking rocks my world in this song. i even got my mom hooked on it. makes me feel powerful

- fixed by new hopes club. it’s just super sweet and has a good melody. the chorus is catchy af and i love it. i wanna danceeee

- place we were made by maisie peters. the song that inspired my newest au (cough cough CHECK IT OUT I NEED VALIDATION). it’s proper good. the stripped back acoustic songs are my jam lately. this one just...makes me feel like i’m in a meadow and having a picnic with animals like a disney princess, but also going home alone in the middle of the night after a night out drinking. it’s a mixed emotions kinda deal

this is why we can’t have nice things by taylor swift. i know there’s a witch hunt out for taylor and i’m not gonna comment on that, i’m trying to stay out of The Discourse, but the new album is full of bangers, okay? when i illegally downloaded (ooooooops) reputation this song wasn’t in the file for some reason, so i didnt know it existed. and then rep was put on spotify, finally, and i noticed this gem and now i can’t get enough of it, it’s so gooood
