This was such a cute little chapter to return to after the month long break...!! 💗😊💗

Mission 103 was a short, but fun little chapter staring the Forger family, so let's talk about it shall we...? 😄

We start this chapter with an EXTREMELY bored Anya on break from school...!!

Anya always be lookin' so dang goofy when she's bored, I LOVE IT!! 😂

After Twilight comes home and makes Anya do her homework, Anya sees a news report about a seal named Belle and decides that she wants to go see her...!! 😆

...But, Loid quickly declines Anya's offer because he isn't letting her go anywhere until she finishes her homework...! Then Twilight goes to change the channel and is annoyed to see that other channels are also talking about Belle the seal, when brings up a good point to the frustrated Loid:

I COULDN'T AGREE MORE YOR!! 😊 I can't even watch the news sometimes because of how sad and depressing it can get, so it's always nice to wholesome stuff like Belle the seal for change...!! 💗

So the Forgers decide to go see Belle and guess who they run into...:

BECKY AND MARTHA!! 💗😆💗

Anyway, it turns out that Becky is also here to see Belle and even asks Anya if she would like head over to the news crew and possibly get on TV, but because Anya read Twilight's mind about how that would be a bad idea (i.e. he's a spy and must not draw attention to himself and she's originally from an orphanage), Anya must decline Becky's offer...!! 😌

After waiting awhile (and even wanting to throw hands with the seal for not showing up 🤣), Becky decides to head home while the Forgers stick around...!! Anya starts getting bored of waiting and goes to play for a bit while Yor sit and talk in my probably favorite part in this entire chapter...!! 😁:

I adore that Yor is doing her very best to get Loid to relax for a bit, it truly warms my heart...!! 💗🤗💗 Also, the two page spread in this chapter is just SO BEAUTIFUL!! 🥹

After that beautiful moment, as Bod and Anya are playing, they stumble across the elusive seal Belle...!! 😲:

It turns out (after Anya read her mind) that Belle was hiding because the humans kept following her around, which is totally understandable for Belle to do because usually when some people see a cute animal, they don't really consider how that animal might be feel about all this new found attention they're getting... 😔 So, the Forgers decide to sit quietly near her and after a while of watching her, Belle decides to leave and get them a crawfish as a parting gift!! 🤗 After that exchange, Twilight has a thought:

He thinks back to what Handler said all the way back in Mission 78 and wonders if Belle could be another animal experiment... But before he could think any further on that, Bond gets bit on the nose by the crawfish that Belle left and decides that he might be over thinking this and so, the Forgers finally decide to head home after their little adventure with Belle the seal...!! 😄

And that was Mission 103, a really fun and sweet chapter to return with after the month long break...!! 💗😊💗 I just loved everything Yor did throughout this chapter (though I love Yor all of the time), she was most definitely the best part this chapter...!! 😍 Loid was quite grumpy this chapter (he even called Anya a brat at one point) and though I understand where he's coming from, I hope that he'll fully take Yor's advice to heart one of these days...!! 🤗 Also, Belle was SOOO ADORABLE, I love her!! 💗😍💗

Anyway, that's pretty much all I wanna say, so until the next Mission; take care, be safe out there and be kind to one another...!! 😄SEE YA!! 👋😁

Hi there! I wanted to preface this by saying that your submas and Nimbasa trio art are awesome, and I adore the way you draw them and write their interactions ❤️ . Their expressions, the way they move and interact with each other and the world around them, it's great 👍.

There's something I wanted to ask regarding your comics, and I ask this with the utmost respect 🙏, because it's something I've been wondering: where are their parents? It's awesome that they do all this stuff together, but the parents are, like, never brought up. Not even Elesa's after her introduction to the twins. And Ik that in the Pokemon verse, you're free to do whatever at age 10, but I still wanted to ask in your comics, at least, since they're still so young, if there's going to be any mentions of them.

I don't want you to feel pressured to draw designs for their parents or anything like that! It's perfectly understandable if you've never thought of the subject, I just wanted to know if they're still in the picture or if, for drama effect, they're orphans adopted by uncle Drayden in your lore. (Ofc, if you believe in the uncle Drayden theory, that is).

And once again, thank you for all the work you do! You're awesome, and your art is awesome 👌. And I really hope this ask doesn't come off as mean or offensive, I'm just really curious about anything you'd be willing to give about submas parents. Thank you 😊 for everything once again. Going to be honest, I didn’t really think about them parents much— pokemon treats most parent figures as non-entities, so… yeah. Feral teenagers running around.

If you want to hear my rambling though! (Note that this is all work in progress! Things are inclined to change.)

Worldbuilding for this iteration, I like to think it’s cultural that everybody has a pokemon starter/ ace that they grow with, but it depends on individuals to decide how close their lives intertwine. That in mind,

Ingo and emmet have two moms! Their ma’ is drayden’s twin sister— Kaita, haxorous ace, and a dragon specialist. And their mother, Lucielle, a stoutland ace, works as a full time trainer. The ladies are a bit absent from the twin’s life because they have their own business, but like to send Ingo and Emmet stuff from wherever they roam. (They tried their best when the kids were younger. But talking about having kids, and actually raising kids are two different topics in life.)

Drayden serves as an uncle figure for the twins, but he’s a bit bitter he got two patrats dumped on him.

((Does the lack of parent figures and a distant uncle have lasting effects on ingo and emmet? That’s up for your interpretation. Though it would explain latching onto each other and then later litwick and tynamo…))

As for the pachirisu child—

Elesa’s parents are separated. Her dad, Rin, works a full time desk job. He means the best, but he’s never home. He lost his staraptor a while back and is still dealing with the grieving process, and isn’t really equipped to look after a kid on top of all that. Elesa’s mom, Himawari, is still in Sinnoh and works as a ranger. Her ace is a solrock.

(Why are they separated? That’s for you guys to postulate! I am simply throwing ocs at the wall.)

Elesa was moved to unova partially due to her dad’s new job, and partially due to that Entire Nebulous Situation. She adapts fast, but it’s not a fun adaption.

Anyways, the twins and elesa in turn grew up very independent as a result.

He/They ages with me, so his/their B-Day is 01/24.

He's an enigmatic shapeshifter. His real form is forgotten, but I'll be honest it's okay he forgot what he was before...

(*Ahem* He a Eldritch Seahorse)

-> He got a long deep vertical slit from the center end of his navel to the pelvis region. The oviduct in the male's body, known as the brood pouch...

(Fun Fact: Male Seashores bear the burden of pregnancy and childbirth.)

This is the only part of his body he can't change when shapeshifting.

He looks normal enough... So, if that enough doesn't scream danger, I don't know what does. ☜(ﾟヮﾟ☜)

He likes keepin' his secrets close, despite being a terrible liar.

He can be irritated easily, but slow to anger.

He's smart but prefers to play dumb for the fun of it.

He loves learning about others rather than helping himself.

He is sort of selfless just because he can be, and he is to a "diabetical" fault.

He's hard to kill and practically invincible in water.

And his weakness is "Affection and Intimacy."✨

Anyways- Causing confusion and being uncanny is his natural behavior, but they're really just a rare kind-sibling type of person; awkward, but naturally loving.

He has no partner due to his original form as a male seahorse, he will only have one mate for life.

So, he has to be very careful when it comes to love.

They like to keep a good appearance because they want friends, but they don't enjoy being disturbed when they're downing their favorite juice, cranberry.

(When he drinks it looks like he's getting drunk, but I swear it's just juice, Esther likes being healthy and not intoxicated.)

Some History: I made him when I had no friends, so when I got some friends, he kinda got washed off to the side and now talks to himself alone in his pocket dimension full of nothing, with his juice because he's been alone and forgotten for a long time.

But I'm bringing him back, now that I know how to draw somewhat better and since I do miss this old friend of mine created during my cringe dark ages.

Might copy and paste the text here later from my Twitter thread where I expressed why I enjoyed it, but I recently read My Little Poplar and ended up liking Bai Xinyu and Yu Fengcheng quite a bit!

Yu Fengcheng’s eventual regret was honestly written really well, and the relationship between the two leads has good chemistry. 👌

Even better is that it features Jian Suiying, who I also have gotten weirdly attached to???

Like objectively the book Jian Suiying comes from, In Love With an Idiot, has its flaws. Or rather, it employs tropes that really aren’t for everyone, which includes the main couple fighting constantly (so it’s basically fighting and then fucking and then fighting and then fucking and you get the idea), and it gets kind of overdramatic at times, as some very angsty-type stories can be—whether they’re from China (known as “dog blood” stories) or not.

I even found it a little silly that so many were so obsessed with Jian Suiying, and yet…

Here I am now, sliiiightly obsessed with him. 🤡😂

It’s just that! As I mentioned on my Twitter, he’s so unique for a shou/bottom/uke character!! Before he met Li Yu, he was always the top, and he’s sexually confident and pretty intelligent and ruthless and…well, temperamental. He does admittedly have a charm to him that works and I find it pretty amazing the author managed to predict that, since so many characters in her novels adore him BDMGIHSKD.

Even his red flags give him charm, because while he is problematic, the red flags make him an intriguing character. The author does a pretty good job at balancing the different aspects of him that make him technically infuriating and yet also compelling.

His charm is further boosted by the fact there’s actually a clip of one of his VAs just trying to cheer you up if you’re sad?? Like hello??? 🥺

It is no longer a surprise to me that Li Yu ended up so obsessed with Jian Suiying. 😆

Also I’ll note now the last image is actually by the My Little Poplar manhua artist while the others are from the manhua adaptation of Jian Suiying’s own novel! I like how the manhua artist draws him quite a bit since it feels so him. I’ve seen fan art and they sometimes feature him smaller and thus not domineering enough, even though they usually show him with the same hairstyle—which makes for a fun tangent on its own since danmei designs can be a bit “basic,” so when one specific design becomes a recognizable look for a character, I find it pretty cool.

In fact, one of my favourite details in My Little Poplar was watching Yu Fengcheng be very frustrated with how much Bai Xinyu looked up to Jian Suiying. 🤭

Also just seeing him show up always made me go “yay!” because it’s so fun getting to see him again, especially as part of his story aligns with My Little Poplar (as in the plots of both novels happen somewhat concurrently).

Similarly, the manhua adaptation, My Beloved Fool, has a really nice art style and I really like that the artist always lets Jian Suiying shine by really dressing him up. He and Shi Qi from Trap a Vicious Dog (another series I want to ramble about on why I’m enjoying it so far) are two manhua protagonists I know of who are like…confident smart corporate bosses that get stylish fits almost every manhua chapter, which is a nice detail ahaha.

My Beloved Fool has recently hit the heavy angst section of the novel so it’ll be depressing to follow for a while since you’ll just watch Li Yu fall apart as Jian Suiying suffers absolute hell. 😔

Someone even uploaded the first season of the vomic version of the manhua on YouTube. 👀

Similarly, I’m really excited for the My Little Poplar manhua to get to all the good bits of the story there, since Bai Xinyu develops a lot as a character and I find Yu Fengcheng’s regret especially well done. But evidently it’ll take quite some time to get there; first we have to get past the military bullying alfndkfjjss.

Anyway the actual reason I started typing this out before I spiralled into another huge ramble asjakfl is that I found In Love With an Idiot and My Little Poplar audio dramas on YouTube!!

I’d heard some In Love With an Idiot audio clips from something that some fans had shared to YouTube before, but it sounds like those clips were from a completely different audio drama than the one I landed on. I’m especially excited about the My Little Poplar one. Even if it’s not extremely high quality (I think Bing Xing Xia Deng aka Inferior by Nature aka The Selfish Gene has admittedly spoiled me because it was so high quality 😆), it’s still fun hearing these characters come to life aurally.

Even more so since iirc I saw a Twitter post saying the My Little Poplar and In Love With an Idiot got taken down officially, so they may only be accessible via online reuploads right now. I can’t find the post to confirm, but if true, I’m glad someone preserved them. 🙏

Update: I did find the other version’s VAs of the In Love With an Idiot audio drama! Except it’s maybe a…sequel? Where a Li Yu of the past transmigrates 5 years into the future when Li Yu and Jian Suiying are a couple?? It’s on MaoEr FM…and it’s for free. 👁️

In fact, I could totally ramble about the Bing Xing Xia Deng audio drama—which I already have for a friend, so I can just copy and paste that long-ass (slightly more incoherent because it’s a lot of fangirling) wall of text here haha. I am currently very obsessed with that series too because it really is high quality and I like how it evolved the novel it’s adapting, but my friend is the expert on it so I feel a bit more shy about sharing my thoughts sometimes.

Welp that went on quite a number of tangents but yeah. I’ve enjoyed these novels and I’m very happy they got audio dramas and that they are still out there to be enjoyed after everything. 🥺💕

OH and final note but…the fun fact about the 188男团 aka 188 Group, which is the overall series Jian Suiying and Bai Xinyu belong to (so-called because it’s 10 novels that share a universe and all feature (scum) gongs of 188 cm) got sort of made into an “actual” 男团, aka a boy band/group! I found the couple (?) songs they released and some fan songs and it’s nice seeing them all “singing” together alfjskfjs.

Voiceplay-adjacent Visuals - God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen

So here's the thing: I'm not religious whatsoever, and usually I'm neutral at best when it comes to "traditional"/religious Christmas songs. Like on the odd occasion I might hear a decent performance of one, like O Holy Night or Silent Night for example, and I'll be like "yeah alright", but I don't usually go search them up to relisten to them, y'know?

But then, on the 4th of December, 2021, Geoff released his cover of God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, and MY. GOODNESS. Undeniably one of the most epic Christmas carol performances I've ever heard (besides most versions of Carol Of The Bells of course).

So anyway, there's probably a lot more to say on the musical arrangement than the video, but I didn't wanna skip over this one entirely, and tbh this is one of my favourite videos for examples of Geoff's self-conducting motions and hand gestures, so I really wanna talk about some of that, and show off some of the cool lighting stuff as well! (Credit to Eli for lighting design!)

So anyway, let's get into this!

This video was filmed at PattyCake Studios, though presumably using a set/backdrop that doesn't get used a lot otherwise, because I don't recognise it from anything else! (EDIT: according to the amazingly-knowledgeable and very helpful Jules-has-notes, "the backdrop was one of the standing sets at the old PattyCake studio...VP used it in their video for "You're My Best Friend" with Deejay, but the set dressing and lighting were pretty different.")

Double credit to Eli for the lighting design, because look how cool this looks already, with the variety of colours that we're getting from lighting in the background! Whiteish-purple, green, blue, orange, and purple-pink! And I love how there's enough in the background to make it interesting and to "fill out the space" without drawing your attention away entirely!

This video has at least a couple moments of the "Geoff Clones" noticeably mirroring each other in their motions, like in Shenandoah and Unshaken, but there are also quite a few moments (like before this, in the "slow build-up section" in fact) where different Geoffs are doing different motions to indicate which of them are singing which vocal parts (e.g. higher stuff vs lower stuff)

Hi everyone! Heres human korosensei!

As i said before his zodiac sign is a Pisces and his birthday canonically is March the 13th so here is my drawing of him, I’m very happy with it, cuz it took a long time, bbbuuutt it was worth it cuz it’s my first koro drawing that looks good! The rest are terrifying 👌 as you can see his hair is more like the one from his actual human deisgn (1, this reminds me of my art class 2, I still haven’t done like a lore post where I explain his lore cuz I’m still finalising his design but that will happen at s is ome point I guess). His outfit is a bit strange but, I think it looks alright, also if you were wondering he’s holding a piece of chalk. (Cuz like teachers… )

Anyway the important part! …. Zodiac signs! And more pacifically Pisces! Heres some interesting facts about Pisces (gone sexual) (that’s only because I got bord and only found enjoyment out of finding out the more honry facts about zodiac signs)

So a quick summary of a Pisces:

There traits are : romantic, companionate, artistic, empathetic, and sensitive

I found out Pisces get on with cancers well which is fitting because monokuma and monomi are cancers, and despite monomi being the comic releaf no one likes that much, but because monokuma spends most his time with byakuya koro is usualy seen with monomi, but kuma and koro are teh biggest besties. Now on the more concerning side it’s said that pisces should marry a cancer or a Taurus which, is everyone , monomi, byakuya and kuma 🤔… I guess that means koro has options (im kidding cuz kuma claims koro and monomi are his siblings.. so no thank you 😗) but maybe koro will take byakuya from kuma 😂…

SWTOR commission

Hello there!

First of all, I'm not dead, but I've been working on this bigger commission for a while. I had some trouble finding the right colour combinations, but I think it finally balanced out?

Big thanks to my client, who was very patient and enthusiastic! This piece was such fun to work on, especially with all the reference he provided me with 👌 Although I love to finish up a drawing asap, having the freedom to let it rest and take it up with 'fresh eyes' means a lot to me and the quality 🙏

Anyway, the piece consists of 3 SWTOR OC's and I think they all deserve some attention, so if you want to see details and such, look under the break :-)

This gal is Lyall! I made her look both ways, because as a standalone drawing, the eye placement is better the other way than in the whole drawing 🙃

Second character of the 3-character commission is Eranec, brooding on a Sith throneroom, Dromund Kaas and the Sith Empire fleet in the background.

Third character of the 3-character commission is Rook'ari, a character of which I had the pleasure to draw before! She's wearing a new outfit now, and by the stars it was detailed! Lucky for me, I love detailing stuff. It was a challenge though to bring some depth into her silhouette, but in the end I think it turned out fine and I've learned some new tricks!

so there’s Chrissy who is the “host” or “fronter”. She uses she/her and uhm. Yeah i haven’t really done that much character development on her yet since wEee rabbit holing-ish on DID

(btw if there is anyone who knows more about DID or has personal experience with it, please tell me if i say something wrong or get any facts messed up)

aaand then there’s rayne. christ do i love rayne (this sounds like favouritism towards them but it’s just because i’ve done so much more character development for them (mostly today so it’s fresh fjjdhfjdjd))

to quickly explain the top surgery on a character that is mostly fem presenting- when rayne was fronting some time a couple years ago, they had a fun little breakdown and ended up going to a gender specialist to get a recommendation for top surgery. Completely just. On a whim. turns out having two identities that have completely opposite gender issues can be kinda problematic sometimes

jasmin uses she/xey pronouns and yes. this is the influence of phe partially hdhdhd. its similar to my situation with neim where their pronouns helped me realise shit about my own gender

basically when jas and phe met, jas was already questioning her gender but didn’t know how to progress. all she knew was that she was uncomfortable with they/them pronouns. n then phe introduced her to the concept of neopronouns and thus the she/xey was born!

I think I’ve interacted w BNHA all this time cuz I’m so excited for the ending. It’s hilarious, I don’t even really have an attachment to any of the characters (except shigaraki and sum of the other villains) but I just really love how hori has set up the ending. I really really wanna see AFO and Yoichi backstory but I don’t think they’re gonna give AFO that much of a backstory since he’s supposed to die and be irredeemable. It’s just so fun to see what will happen and read everyone’s theories and see people talk abt the two characters I actually care abt. Regarding fight scenes, I will never forget when I first read MVA and got to see re destro vs shigaraki. I was like “WHAT?? HE TORE HIS HANDS OFF??? WHAT SHIGARAKI BACKSTORY?? OH MY GOD HES SMILING AND GIGGLING!?!?!?” That entire arc was so well put together and I was shigaraki starved for so long but my brain just imploded when I found out this arc existed (and then I waited two long years for it to get animated only for it to be treated like a side project). SPEAKING OF ART- oh my god the art. It’s gotten so much better over the existence of the manga like wow. I see old panels and I noticed the lines used to be so thin (and sort of rushed ig-?) and now you can tell how confident Hori is, the action scenes feel like they’re really moving the lineart is so bold and thick. This is getting long but in short I like BNHA because of the way the entire story has been set up to end and shigaraki. It was the first anime/manga I ever got into and I just know I’m gonna get all emotional once it ends, but that’s what I’m lookin forward to!!

Yes! Like I find it nice that even with people like yourself who don't have much of an attachment to the characters (aside from shiggy and the other character you like of course), there's still something that totally grabs you in because, like it or not, you want to know the ending! Even if it's bad or good or meh, there's still that question that hangs in the air about "How is this going to end?" and, if nothing else, that alone is what draws people in (It's The Mystery Of It All)

Personally, I think Hori has the capability to show us some really interesting AFO stuff. Judging by how Hori has outlined the whole thing about "you have done bad things and I will never forgive you for that but I still want to save you", that kind of complexity to the situation, I'm willing to bet that Hori has the potential to show AFO as fucked up as he already is but really round his character out, you know? Show his backstory (we still have a hanging question in the air of "was AFO always like this, even as a child, or did it all start when his quirk manifested?" so idk it'd be cool if we got the answer to that question) and such. I remain hopeful anyway

You can still have a character be irredeemable and die, but branch out their backstory as well, I believe, so uh. fingers crossed lol 🤞

And SAME for the MVA arc, it was just so amazing!! Just to learn more about the League but also the whole fight! And Shiggy laughing?? Ugh. Icing on the cake. That was probably the arc that got me to really like Shiggy, like full-on "this character has GRABBED my ATTENTION and now I want MORE"

I swear, one of the things Hori gets right with his slow burn is that Character Drought where you're wondering where tf your blorbo is and as soon as they get screen time or development, it's like you've been splashed with water and you come racing back for more (keep em waiting, keep em wanting - that's the writers rule lol)

I totally know what you mean about the art, like, to watch the style change over the years and see everything go from the rigid lines (idk how to put it either. like sharper and thinner?) to the bolder (bouncier) and sleeker ones is just very 👌👌👌

Yeah I think that nostalgia is gonna be very present. For everyone in the fandom, to some degree, but also for people like you who's first introduction to anime/manga was bnha! No matter the outcome of the story, I'm sure it's going to be something you'll remember for ages - the anticipation of the story, or the fun you had reading those theories, or both 😊

Hello! I saw your matchups and thought they looked fun! I haven’t thought about this series in like a year I need to go binge read it what have you done- anyway you can write whatever kind of matchup seems most fun for you. S/Os are more like best friends ADVANCED MODE for me anyway lol. I’m tall, pale, and wear glasses and thats pretty much all that stands out about me but it be like that sometimes 😔👌 I don’t really like talking to people I don’t know because ~✨Trust issues✨~™️ Am I right gamers lol- but if someone comes up to me I’m not about to ignore them that’s rude >:( I’m really loud with people I’m relatively comfortable with and I hate being serious (haha running away from problems go brrrr) though that can cause problems since my sense of humor can be pretty dark or not make sense at all to most people lol. Apparently threatening to burn down Taco Bell’s until they bring back cheesy fiesta potatoes isn’t “a healthy coping mechanism” (btw cheesy fiesta potatoes came back like 4 hours after I said that COINCIDENCE??? lol) I thought it was funny tho so that’s what matters. I can’t stand people who can’t understand what I’m trying to tell them, or people who doubt what I know/what I’m capable of. Also people touching me but I can tolerate that if I really like the person, however I will not hesitate to hit them purely out of reflex if they don’t warn me first lol. I overheat easily and can’t see all that well when it’s bright, so I prefer to stay inside. I love to play video games or just any game, especially friendly competitive games or strategy games. I also like listening to music and drawing because I’m not unique so tragic so sad. I like people who are confident because that’s probably the only way we’re going to talk lol, who can join in on my jokes because fun lol, who are above average intelligence so I don’t have to explain every other word I say or have them just stare at me blankly, and just respectful people lol. Sounds like a lot but it’s a pretty low bar lol. My zodiac is Libra but I don’t really care that much about it, and my love language is quality time. I don’t remember the characters so I can’t say ghat there are any I don’t want lol. Feel free to write spoilers if you want to though, I don’t really care that information is probably stored back in my mind one way or another. Hi! I totally get that. I won’t think of this series for months and then there’s one thing that just drags me back into the rabbit hole 😂😂

I would match you with Isen for both platonic and romantic! I feel like the two of you would compliment each other well.

*Isen strikes me as someone who’s more on the extroverted side of the spectrum. He doesn’t really seem to have a problem talking to people and (aside from people he’s scared of) he’s pretty confident.

*He also strikes me as the type of person to make a lot of jokes or to use humor as a coping mechanism. I don’t think he would start off with dark humor, but I think that after a while of making jokes back and forth he would progressively get darker as time went on.

*I think he’d be a mix of wanting to stay inside and also wanting to spend time elsewhere.

*I can confidently say that he would carry one of those tiny fans that plug into the bottom of your phone and any time you mentioned anything about the heat he’d whip that sucker out.

*I can also guarantee that he would burn the taco bell down with you while Remi and Blyke would just be NO-

*I mean, the first thing he did when he found out about ability amps was talk about how easily he could beat Arlo up.

*He doesn’t seem very touchy in my opinion, maybe only when he’s like really sleepy he’ll try and lean his head on you.

OH SOMEONE’S HERE TO ASK ABOUT THE LOCAL FAVE OMG I’m going to try very hard to keep this somewhat short because I get very long winded afdgjkfg okay here we go

So Fergus is the main main character of my book @defendersofearth (I’m posting it right now with illustrations!!)

The very short version: He’s a superhero with empath powers, the leader of a team called the Defenders of Earth, but he’s been “retired” for 13 years for a few reasons.  He comes out of retirement though to find and raise the second generation of superheroes.  As a person, he’s kinda grumpy and bullheaded, but genuine and passionate.

I’ll put the longer version under the cut, but it’s not SUPER long I promise!!  I wanted to include a bit of backstory tho so.  Yeah.

So Fergus was pulled off the streets in his youth by an organization called the Society, who gave him his powers.  He’s an empath, so he can sense and manipulate others emotions.  Along with 11 other kids, he was trained to essentially be a super soldier.

Sometime in his twenties, a second gen of superhumans was created. They were the biological children of the first twelve, with the same powers as their respective parents.  A few years later, though, the Society shut down and instead of going rogue and/or taking the Betas to train, Fergus disbanded the team to be with his girlfriend and fellow Defender, Valerie.

So the story starts 13 years later with Elliot phoning up Fergus and asking him to pull the team back together and collect the Betas, which is fun and good because Fergus has.  So many issues regarding his son, Skylar.  Not to mention that another former teammate, Kane, ended up raising Skylar and that’s a whole ‘nother can of worms.

Some likes: coffee, drawing (he’s a very good artist!!), a good sparring match, making his loved ones happy, spicy food

And some dislikes: being told what to do, feeling helpless, dogs, animals in general, people, when it’s hot out, swimming, showing skin, Stohln

Personality wise uhh.  He’s a very private person!  He’s got a bit of a temper, can be kind of an asshole, and is definitely not a people person, which you wouldn’t expect from an empath lmao.  He’s compassionate, selfless, and determined though and he’s a huge dork when he’s actually comfortable with people and I love him so much he’s so good and sweet and he’s doing his best dammit!!

(BTW THANK YOU!! for the compliments!!!  I’m definitely doing more celestials in the future I already have one planned to draw v soon (James as a seraph babey!!!))

Otherkin is the belief that one is partly or fully {BUT NOT PHYSICALLY} non-human. Fictionkin is a branch that's similar but with fictional creatures {as in from works of fiction ans not mythos} or characters. Exactly how one's kin will vary from person to person, but the main things agreed upon in the community is you believe it's a true part of you and that you didn't choose what the kintype is {or kintypes are}. For me personally it's all spiritual. These are lives I had.

Anyway, the question you actually asked: Benrey {also spelt Benry} is a character from Half-Life VR but the AI is Self-Aware {shortened to HLVRAI by fans}. It's a mostly improve RP series done in GMod. Because of just how much Benrey can do fans have decided he's some eldritch being and, as such, he has many monster and biblically accurate angel and glitchy mess etc. artwork because he very well could be anything as far as we're concerned. HLVRAI is actually avery humorous and fun watch so I'd recommend it :>

Voiceplay Visuals: ACA Top 10 80s Cartoon Themes

(This is the 5th post I'm writing in one day (using Tumblr's Schedule feature), I'm having too much fun)

I'm not actually super familiar with all of the cartoons featured in this video (I'm a Gen Z Aussie who didn't have cable for most of my childhood, don't @ me), but I've at least heard of most of them or I know later iterations of the franchises. And also I'm not here to talk about the songs, I'm here to talk about the video (released in March 2018) itself! Let's go!

Back at it again with the themed T-shirts! Eli is wearing a Scrooge McDuck/Ducktales shirt, Earl is apparently wearing an Ultimate Warrior shirt? (shoutout to a reaction video I watched for pointing that out), J is wearing a TMNT shirt, Geoff is wearing a Transformers shirt, and Layne is wearing a Rainbow Dash/My Little Pony shirt

Look at all the 80s stuff in the background! Somebody had fun putting that all together, for sure.

Also shoutout to Eli's fingerless gloves and the sunglasses on his head; he is looking very cool 👌

(Also Geoff is basically doing The Least with his outfit here out of the 5 of them, but he's nothing if not consistent 😂 (literally he seems to be either Go Big or Do The Least when it comes to outfits for videos like this, but I say this all in good fun, and I still love him)

Eli, Earl, and J yet again being "class clowns", during the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles section, with the action poses, karate moves, and J pointing excitedly to his shirt 😂

Geoff takes lead on the GI Joe section (why do I feel like he probably watched that a lot as a kid?), so it's as good a time as any for me to do another "hair examination" (since this is about 9 or so months after the Moana Medley)

(These aren't the neatest drawings I know, but they're not meant to be something I spend a lot of time on).

I swear his hair looks longer here than it does in the next two videos Voiceplay uploaded after this one, but I guess we shall just have to see if I'm right or not!

Wait hang on a moment, if Eli, Earl, and J are sitting on a couch, does that mean Geoff and Layne are sitting on the floor? 😂 (guess I can't laugh too much, I often choose to sit on the floor myself)
