isaac: YOU TOLD JAMIE BEFORE YOU TOLD ME
colin: well he was really supportive and it was after the game and he was hugging me what was i supposed to do
colin: also HE said it back
colin: still you tried to beat that guy up for me so yeah i do know man
#in MY HEAD jamie said it back okay#can’t actually make out the words#this started out as a serious post with capital letters and Thoughts and everything#but to quote spike#i got bored#anyway i do particularly like the lack of ‘no homo’ after colin comes out#jamie gives him a long hug on the pitch and colin tells him he loves him and they just keep on hugging#and while isaac gets flustered it’s not due to any gay fear reasons#but due to him WANTING to say it back but not being able to#because of learned ideals of masculinity that’s highly prevalent in society and general and sports in particular#and okay these can’t be properly extricated from gay fears#but you know what i mean#isaac is not worried about being perceived as gay if he tells a gay dude he loves him#he just struggles with explicitly expressing that sort of feeling in general#but is very happy to confirm when offered a way to do so in a language he can be comfortable with#that’s my take on that scene anyway#colin hughes#isaac macadoo#jamie tartt#3x09#random ramblings#with an added side of tag meta because why not i guess#the tags were supposed to be the post actually and the post the tags#then this happend#oops innit#ted lasso
