It's not surprising the Tianquan has a bodyguard. She's a key political figure in Liyue and anyone aiming to dismantle the carefully curated hierarchy has her at the top of the list. To the public, your just muscle to intimidate the lesser crooks from even thinking about it and deal with those who get too bold.

Behind closed doors, though? Your nothing but the Tianquan's lap dog at her beck and call.

She isn't fond of public displays, but she does like hiding it in public just for the thrill. Knowing you wear your collar under your uniform so you'll always remember who holds your leash is a thrill she can't beat.

She's a bit mean and sadistic, really, but she's the Tianquan. She has the money to spoil you like a good puppy afterwards..so long as you behave and exceed expectations. Whether you lean more dominant or submissive doesn't matter, since you'll probably be subbing whether your top or bottom. It's a different kind of thrill to make you sit on her lap, stuffed full of her cock, while she works. That or she has you under her desk, one hand fisted in your hair while she uses your mouth instead.

“We’ve got to stop meeting like this” - Beidou x GN! Reader

The first time you ever ran into the infamous Crux Captain was in the most unexpected of locations - at Yuehai Pavillion, being escorted by the general secretary of the Qixing, Miss Ganyu. And you? Well, you happened to be carrying a few too many folders, barely paying attention to where you put your feet as you rushed to get to Huixing on time. 

A traditional meet-cute is what some might call it. You excused yourself over and over as you scrambled to gather together the strewn papers, Miss Ganyu pitching in without a second thought. If you had believed the notorious pirate to be angry about your mishap, you would be corrected the moment she impatiently shushed your frantic apologies, handing you the folders scattered around you with a benign glint in her eye.

“Watch your step there”. Her hands brushed against yours, weathered and calloused from years at the mercy of oceans temper, and you almost jump. “You never know who you’ll come across”. 

Her tone was playful, amused, even, and you breathed a relieved smile. “Thank you, Captain Beidou. Again, my apologies”. 

“Oh, please, leave the honorifics”. She gives you an equally lighthearted smile, looking like she has all the time in the world, despite the fact that Miss Ganyu is nervously glancing at the clock. “You are?”

“Y/N, a pleasure to meet you”. You feel a bit shy under her stare, no matter how well tempered it might be. She tilts her head aside, nodding slowly, as if satisfied with your answer, and opens her mouth to answer.

“I’m awfully sorry to have to cut you short”, Miss Ganyu steps in, gesturing down the hallway, “But Lady Ningguang is surely waiting for us, Captain Beidou. If you’d mind-?” 

“Of course, of course”. She waves to you as she turns, already half-buried behind the pile of papers in your arms again. “I’ll see you around”. 

“A good day to you too!” you call after her, the light hint of a smile lingering on your face as you continue on your way. 

The second time was a bit less dramatic than the first. 

You were on a walk by the pier after work, relishing in the relative quiet of the night and the splash of the waves against the stone. It had been a few days since your first run-in with the Captain, and ever so often, you’d turn in the hallways without a second thought, believing to have caught her strong voice coming from somewhere. You were always met with disappointment however, which is why it was all the more surprising when something ran into your sides and her voice began to curse. 

And my, did she certainly have the mouth of a sailor. 

“-cking- anyway, I’m terribly sorry”, she had hurried to say, eyes widening in surprise as you met hers. “I… well, if it isn’t Y/N. This time is on me, huh?” 

You found you couldn’t quite answer for a long moment, because the sight of the Captain casually hauling a very heavy looking crate on one shoulder was certainly one to behold. Absently massaging where she had accidentally collided with you, you couldn’t help but admire how very muscular her arms were, how she didn't even seem to be breaking a sweat… She must be incredibly strong…  

Ehem. 

“Consider it repayment”. You somehow manage to string a sentence together, giving her a careful smile, amazed that she even remembered your name. She laughs, and your heart flutters, a sudden, exciting emotion cursing through you. 

“One could almost think it’s intentional, now”. She winks at you. 

You chuckle, trying to ignore how warm your cheeks feel. “Agreed. We’ve got to stop meeting like this”. 

She stems one hand into her hip, contemplating something for a few seconds as she stares down at you. “Yes, so, come with me to dinner after I’ve finished this?” 

You’re taken aback for a second at her forwardness, mouth falling open slightly. “Are… are you serious?” 

“Well, I think you’re quite the cute one”. She shrugs, a light grin tugging at the corners of her lips. The seabreeze plays with her hair, strikingly red eye grown into a softer pink in the dying light of the harbour. “I don’t just offer my first name up to anyone. What d’you say?” 

“I’d be honoured”. You can feel your heart skip at the bright smile that spreads over her face.

“Perfect. Meet me at Wanmin in twenty minutes”. She rolls back her shoulders, setting one of her hands onto yours with gentle force. The warmth seeps through your clothing and you don’t quite know what to say, so in awe of the remarkable Captain. There’s a teasing lilt to her words, not bothering to bend closer. She doesn’t care who sees or hears.

“Oh, and try not to run anyone over on your way there. I won’t be there to catch you”.

The next time you run into her goes considerably smoother, that you have to admit to yourself. She looks so peaceful with you in her arms, soundly asleep, fingers intertwined on the pillow you share.
