Lou Ellen Blackstone-- I tried to get green eyes in, but didn't quite manage.

Breakdown:

red hair is the result of an experiment gone wrong with Connor Stoll. One of Alabaster Torrington's old potions exploded while they were cleaning the cabin out.

green eyes: all hecate children have green eyes. Also some legacies.

blonde hair: i feel like Athena's kids' hair depends entirely on their relationship with their mother. the better the relationship, the brighter and more golden your hair is, so this is annabeth when she's ten or so and basically running the cabin.

blue-gray eyes: if athena has a child with a mortal with NO preexisting ties to a god, the child gets fully gray eyes. however, say athena has a child with a child of hecate-- the child will have gray-green eyes. for annabeth, her family's eyes are all pretty blue because of their ties to the norse gods. so she gets blue-grey eyes.

so. Drew. My lovely blorbo. Anyway, my backstory for Drew is entirely too convoluted, and I don't have her teen form corrected quite yet but:

changing hair: drew's a shapeshifter! or at least, to an extent. She isn't Frank, so no animals, but she can change hair colour/length, eye colour, skin colour, etc. at will. When she was a child (we're going to split this into three sections) there's pre-mother's death, pre-ethan's death, and post ethan's death.

before her mother's death, Drew's hair was blue-- she loved the color! it made her happy, and she was so often happy that her hair was always blue.

before Ethan Nakamura's supposed death (using my backstory of them being stepsiblings-- mortal mother's got together-- and Ethan went on Luke's quest but after the third quester, Allegra, died, Ethan and Luke both began hearing Kronos, and by the end of the quest, Ethan had gone off to serve from the background and Luke faked his death), Drew's hair was at it's natural dark brown color. She was sad, sure, but she still had Ethan, so she was doing alright.

Post his death however, Drew was depressed, hardcore, and her hair mirrored that, jet black. It stays that way way past the battle of manhattan.

post titan war Drew has no clue how to cope because she's... 13-14, so her entire coping mechanism is substance abuse (alcoholism) and starving herself so she's very skinny and not healthy at all, gaunt, too pale because she doesn't see the sun.

eye wise, she has constantly changing eyes like Piper, but if she's unconcious, they're sea green. Her mother was a daughter of poseidon.

I think Grover straight up just looks like that. He doesn't stand out in a crowd or anything, he just looks more childish than most other satyrs for reasons?

anyway, his hair is too short to be super curly, but it is when it grows longer

Piper really embraces her beauty until her father makes it big and she starts getting sexualised by the media, which is when we meet her in TLH.

her eyes are constantly changing, and her hair is brown.

After the mark of Athena, I think Annabeth really broke off any semblance of a relationship with her mom-- so her hair's bleached, her eyes are leached of gray-- she's a shell, basically, because she hasn't dealt with her trauma yet. She's all sharp edges.

Will Solace as a child

Like Athena's children, Apollo kids get more saturated the closer they are to their father, and Will is probably Apollo's favourite. Of the year rounding boys at camp post Luke leaving (SoM-BotL), there's only Michael, Lee, and Will, and Michael is-- well, Michael, and Lee never actually broke up with Luke Castellan, so. Yeah, Will's the favourite.

bright blue eyes, and sunny golden hair, children of apollo are usually pretty tan.

also, will's always been pretty tall. By the time he's 13 in BotL, he's 5'9. The happier apollo's kids are, the taller they grow-- when Lee died, he was 6'3, but Michael was always pretty bitter, so he was about 4'9.

Well, I have four/five OCs-one is an Eternal-

She is the wife of the Emperor, and she has the Empress of Mankind-Mother of Primarchs title (my OC takes Erdas roll as the barrer of the eggs that were used when Emps made the Primarchs, but she had no hand in the Chaos Gods splitting them up, that was Erda as she was a jealous bitch).

Anyway, my eternal OC ends up getting into a relationship with Calgar some 9K years after Emps is stuck on the throne, poor OC shut herself away from making any emotional/physical connection after losing the Emperor, so Emps was actually okay with her getting with one of his favorite people (I ignore the fact that Calgar is like a grandson twice removed DNA wise 🤮)

I like to think that that is why Calgar is so heavily favored and why he is so powerfull too, Emps has basically given him a power boost because Calgar loves his wife how Emps loves/loved her, completely and wholly, even though caring for the Imperium will have to come first, my OC comes second, but in a good way, Emps wanted to make a future where Humanity was safe, in his mind it was the best way to keep his beloved wife safe ❤️

My other OCs are the wives of Rogal Dorn, Vulcan and Angron, (it’s basically the same OC, just in different timelines 😂)

And a 100% self insert OC with my blorbo Titus, he is my all time favorite Space Marine 🥰 Titus and my OC insert have been together for ten years now, they met when he was in the Death Watch, she was his personal serf (totally original I know 😉😂), and she followed him when he was remade into a Primarius with the Ultramarines legion.

Poor OC had to fight tooth and nail to follow him, she may or may not have stalked the Magos of the Death Watch to find out where Titus was, and ask (see: DEMAND lol) to transfer to Titus’s new ship. Let’s just say she has a way with machines (the machine spirit does like her, she talks to the machines and gives them head pats, so of course the Magos was easily swayed, as ridiculous as that may be lol) (Not me actually thanking my electronics/car for doing what they do every day 🫣😅❤️)

Anywho- that ended up wayyyyy longer than I thought it would be- so-

TLDR- I have 4/5 OCs-

#1 is the Emps wife, she later gets into a relationship with Calgar with the Emps blessing.

#s 2-4 are the wives of Vulcan, Dorn and Angron, they are basically the same OC is different timelines.

And #5 is Titus’s wife/longtime girlfriend, she is a little unhinged and was friends (regularly stalked lol) the Magos of the Death Watch and is favored by the machine spirits she meets.

i think its kind of ridiculous to think that homestucks are seriously using bots in this poll because why the hell would they bot this poll instead of the tumblrwoman poll which was the poll EVERYBODY in the hs fandom was actually making a big deal out of . also because im going to be real but i dont think anyone cares about polls enough to rig one? even the bayonetta/miku poll turned out to actually not be vriska voter fraud (most people in the homestuck fandom voted miku anyway) i think people are just unable to comprehend that a lot of people are still dormantly into homestuck & probably just saw vriska serket at the front of the trending disco elysium tag and thought it was funny. like oh my godddd no one cares enough about the outcome of this poll to bot it . somebody with a lot of followers probably just posted about it on twitter or something mundane like that its not that deep . a lot of people on tumblr have read homestuck its not extraordinary that a lot of vriska voters exist. disco elysium fans im sorry your blorbo is losing you’ll probably be back in the lead in a couple hours anyway all of you need to chill out‼️‼️‼️

answering only this ask about the cheating/botting, and no others, because i'm getting a lot of asks about it. congratulations, this contest has officially had all the fun sucked out of it.

here's data i've been collecting for every poll i've run. it's organized by votes the character received per round, then the total number of votes on that poll, for all five rounds. then there are two columns for totals.

the next five columns, Notes 1-5, are the number of notes on each poll. i've highlighted two posts that were circulated with a greater-than-average frequency even after the poll ended (the loki/JC one because people were memeing on JC, and then HDB/Howl one because it gained popularity following a popular blogger reblogging it.)

V/N is the votes to notes ratio for each poll. it was taken by dividing the number of votes when the poll ended by the number of notes on each post. one limitation is that this was not taken at the same time each day, and so older posts will have slightly higher notes. however, i believe this uncertainty isn't enough to discount the conclusions i'll come to.

i've highlighted vriska's V:N ratio in red at the top. as you can see, round vriska's V:N ratio wasn't even the highest; she beat kaeya alberich easily, and the comments in the notes reflected that.

in round 2, things started to get interesting. this is where i and other people noticed a sudden flip, but i didn't think much of it. she was up against izzy hands. izzy was leading all day, and when i queued the next day's poll and went to bed, izzy was leading by 60%. when i woke up, it had flipped to 53/47 in vriska's favor. it's not a HUGEamount, but it is a NOTICEABLE amount.

keep in mind that every single day, there have been other, closer polls, that hovered around 49-50-51 all day, and which also flipped at the end of the day, or remained 50/50 and could only be determined by tumblr. in these cases, the notes also reflect the split. these polls also never swayed more than one or two percent.

in round 3, when vriska faced zuko, there was a clear and immediate lead for zuko, with him leading by 80%. keep in mind that by this point, all 28 other polls i ran, besides vriska's the day before, never swayed more than 1 or 2% once a clear lead had been established.

this poll went from 80/20 zuko to 59/41 vriska. that's RIDICULOUS. the only way that's possible is if an OVERWHELMING amount of people voted vriska and NO people voted zuko. for such a thing to happen, this post would need to spread really rapidly, right? surely this post had tens of thousands of notes and comments!

the V:N ratio for round 3 is TWENTY-SEVEN to one. that's the most out of any poll. the standard deviation for the round 3 polls is 9.0, compared to 4.8 and 4.9 the days before. not to mention reading those notes also does not get us an overwhelming amount of comments rooting for vriska.

today has also been highly suspicious. it started out with an 85/15 lead for harry. i wouldn't necessarily expect it to hold exactly at that percentage, but the flip was immediate and drastic. you can see the trend being tracked on this post. not at all suspicious, right? also note that the comments all day have been 95% rooting for harry and maybe 5% for vriska.

please also look at the GRAND TOTAL column, which has reliably predicted the winners of future polls each day. vriska has received 49,064 votes over the course of the whole contest. harry has received 64,644. that's 24% more votes. and yet the poll is locked at 50/50?

and if this isn't enough evidence for you, then remember the tumblr sexywoman poll. it is a FLAT FUCKING FACT that those polls were spammed by bots. out of respect for their privacy i won't go into detail, but they outright admitted it.

TO CONCLUDE,

it's pretty fucking obvious that something is up, and although i admit that there's simply no concrete way of proving it, there would have to be a really standout explanation for this.

and besides this being super lame, it's also removed all the fun from this contest. it's a stupid tumblr poll that wins literally nothing, congratulations!

also, to everyone making death threats in the notes, BOTH SIDES, you've failed my secret challenge of not being rude which means i'm judging you personally. be fucking nice.

Hey so yeah I’ve done this several times already BUT with tumblr’s new poll feature I figured I’d give this another go with a fresh set of eyes and a fresh set of opinions from you all 👀

For those of you who are new! …er! I’ve been working on a huge OC redesign project for the past couple years. Basically revamping designs from characters I haven’t touched in a Hot Second. And you guys have been the ones to decide who gets a nice sparkly new design first 🥰 (Also bc I’m indecisive and just going with the fan favorite is way easier.)

SO from this list. Please choose who you would want to get a redesign first. Maybe based off of general aesthetic or appearance…maybe based off of the Vibes…maybe there’s a character that just SPEAKS to you. Whatever floats your boat.
