April 17th
Going back to journaling in the morning.
Today, I woke up at 5:30 am. Usually I wake up at 5 am while I start my workout at 5:30 am until 6:00 am, so that gives me around 30 minutes of body movement. But today I decided to do at least 15 minutes to just somehow slow things down since I've been doing a lot of movements these past few days. My back has been aching too so I gotta balance the pressure I put on my muscles so I don't strain my back. I'll just switch back tomorrow to my regular routine. Hopefully, my back starts to feel better.
Anyway, it's a wednesday! We'll be having a mini-program with games and a lot of food at our office later. Which means I get to eat a lot today! Yesterday I had a venti-size Starbucks Matcha Frappe and ate two donuts! I hope I don't lose all my progress from eating healthy and clean from the past few days and go overboard on my eating today. BUTTTTT I hope I don't restrict myself too much with food. This friday there will be more food! I'm gonna have to work hard with my exercise for this week.

My dad and I are going to Fry's tomorrow to get some equipment and figure out just how much my power hungry gaming machine draws when it's putting all its horses to work. One we know how much it eats, we can figure out how much power supply we need to feed it for a few minutes if the wall becomes an unreliable source.
That is, we're doing some practical testing to decide which uninterruptible power supply (UPS) to buy so that I can finally get my computer running.
If all goes well, we'll be back to our regularly scheduled programming on Monday
I say "regular" but truth be told I've been doing some research lately and I think I finally have a few ideas for how to string this small mess of a blog into something I can actually work with.
So I guess when I get back, what's really going to happen is that my blog is going to get one hell of an overhaul.
Not that I haven't been talking about that for weeks already.
Oh and I still need to finish my little research project and finish part two of "Some Science to consider for your science fiction Universe". Last time gravity was the little bitch. This time it's looking like inertia is going to be the recurring problem.
I've actually been thinking about making it into a little series. And instead of just having problems with popular sci-fi, maybe bringing some new ideas into the fold. I'm sure the quantum radio and quantum computing would have endless fictional applications if a few of their benefits and flaws were explained in a way that makes them seem not just more approachable but more exploitable as a plot device.
And reading The Martian has rekindled my fascination with thermodynamics. I'm positive that has more potential than just "space is cold". Hell, even the relative vacuum of space has a few useful applications, certainly more than just killing people.
Biochemistry has always had great science fiction potential which is usually only taken advantage of in the horror genre.
I can think of a million things with vast quantities of mostly untapped science fiction potential and I think it's time to bring some of them to light. It would be a waste of time spent learning not to share that information learned with those who could apply it to the act of creating something new. What good is learning the ways of the world if that information is not used to brighten it?
Anyway, I'm off for the evening and hopefully next time I'm back I'll have the resources to begin all these wonderful projects
