I know I've casually mentioned that I use a tape recorder in a previous post about how much TMA has effected my life but. I was not exaggerating.

Just yesterday night I was having a mental breakdown talking to myself about stuffs and then I went, oh shit, I gotta record this.

I fucking paused my disassociated panic attack to run across the house, sit down with my tape recorder, turn the recorder on, say that I was in a shit mental state, and then continue on with my breakdown.

I shit you not I just *paused* the breakdown in order to grab my tape recorder. It shouldn't be funny that no matter what I do I need my recorder, but it kinda is.

I mean, I don't go anywhere without my SONY microcassette-corder M-560V. I don't leave the house with it. I usually keep it with my phone. Hell, I've even left it in my bed because of the recordings I do in order to end the day.

I get anxious whenever I don't have my tape recorder on me. I used to feel that way with my mp3 player, despite the fact that my phone was always more efficent with music, but yeah. I need my tape recorder to *function.*

This is probably unhealthy.

i am rotating regressor!phil for the first time in years and it’s fun. tiny birb man

- probably avoids regression more often than not. he doesn’t do it on purpose until someone tries to make him small, he hates it when people try to make him small without his permission

- unless that person is techno. techno is the only one who can bonk him with the baby stick

- uses whatever gear he wants whenever he wants, and only embarrassed when someone teases him about having it. he’ll have a sippy cup and just be chillin, then someone will come around teasing him like “aww having trouble with spills are we?” or somethin idk and he’ll get upset about it and they’ll banter but it’s all playing

- if someone shows discomfort while he’s using a paci or a bottle or something and complains about it but doesn’t offer an alternative he’s like. “alright?? sorry that sounds like a you problem i’m just vibin.” but if they ask him to put it away or somethin while they’re around he’s like cheers mate and puts it away while they’re around (idk if this makes sense skskfjf)

- it takes a while for him to warm up to having folks preen his wings. his wife can. techno can. wilbur is not allowed to. tommy sometimes gets to. i don’t watch qsmp use ur judgement on who would do it there 👍

- he regresses without realizing sometimes. usually when he’s overstimulated or really really angry. he beats himself up about acting like a child when he’s been alive for centuries but he’s workin on it

how do the xing peeps fit into your roleswap au? does ed feed ling his... Steel foot?

ohhh this is a really good question. . . mainly because I haven't really thought about them too much. Al will probably be the one getting eaten by gluttony; Ed gets his hand yoinked in. They'll probably be eating Al's boot. OR, perhaps make. a really questionable stew from the blood around them(Al's a foodie 2 me. . . he probably knows about eating blood for what ever reasons. although they both don't want to think about what kind of blood they're eating). blood and boot stew. One of the ONLY things I've thought about the Xing gang is that they cannot understand what the fuck Al is saying. None of them know Amestrian Sign Language; I'm thinkin Lan Fan knows a little bit of Xing Sign Language, but they don't compute. She can piece together SOME things after trial and error with her little bits of knowledge but if someone isn't around to interpret for Alphonse it's a giant game of charades. Although I think Ling would pick up pretty quickly, but still doesn't know squat for a long while(and only vaguely knows what Al might be saying. he probably kinda fucks up) Envy would probably be able to communicate or at least know what he's vaguely saying, for whatever reason. because even though I think it'd be funny as fuck both of them having to figure out Al's transmutation plan through a giant game of charades it wouldn't be as impactful methinks. something like that. thus envy can vaguely translate. though it'd be funny if envy says them in the worst way possible and Al is ready to strangle him by the time he's about to preform the transmutation teehee. rubs my temples. . . hmmm. . . what else. . .(QUICKLY FLIPS THROUGH THE MANGA) okay yeah I don't got much to say for them methinks. . . I have a vague idea with what I want to do for Mey methinks and I think it'd be neat for Ling and Ed to be. slightly slightly very slightly gay, . . but otherwise I think that's about it!! heehoo

anyways, re: my last post, here's a bunch of fun fighting hc's i have for casino quartet specifically (most of these focus on aesthetic though because i am someone who always romanticizes things at heart </3):

clown: something very flashy and based on acrobatics because of the whole. Clown thing he has going on. focuses on agility and very fast movements (because fighting with a scythe is very ineffective since it's such an awkward weapon, but i do think that you can make it work with modified fighting style). personally i think he'd go for doing backflips and whatnot to slice people in half with his scythe and or use his environment because of his flexibility :)

red: when thinking of red, i've always had this imagine of a brawler/defensive style for him in my head. like, someone who times punches and whatnot to be most effective, grounds himself to take punches, and hunkers down to deliver the most effective blow. definitely less flashy and a lot more practical than clown, but hey it works with his general vibes/aesthetic i think

ash: okay this is where this gets to "vibes i just really like" territory, but since ash uses a lot of lunar emotes to breakdance or whatever in minecraft, i think it would be fun if he also has a really flashy style that incorporates a bunch of breakdancing dances. like, the idea of him in the middle of this fight and then doing a 6 step to knock a bunch of people onto their feet is Really funny to me. or just spinning his legs in the air or whatever. i'd also sprinkle in some kickboxing elements in there because cc!ash did mention doing kickboxing training for like. 9+ years iirc so that would be fun. if i ever get around to writing a fight scene with ash and clown working together, their styles would go really hard i think

branzy: listen. i am so sorry this man cannot fight for his life but just to give him a fighting chance i think he knows some basic self defense. like, the stuff you learn from taking a 3 week course. i think instead of going to fights he just sends 3 hidden pipebombs to your house. maybe someone out there can write him as someone who fights with Really sick steampunk weapons (ex: his ksmp character design and the s5 heart factory) but for now i think he likes his revenge best served cold
