hey everyone! sorry for not posting art today, I’m really busy re-drawing my webcomic lol. anywhooooooo,

I cannot stress how much I don’t want you guys reposting my art without my permission. I don’t want it, I won’t tolerate it, and I’m all-in-all uncomfortable about it. I know I’m making a problem out of thin air, but if I tell you guys NOW, you won’t have any grounds to say “but you didn’t say I couldn’t”.

Yes, I know posting my art on the internet guarantees that it will be distributed to sources outside of the mechanism that I post it to, but you guys need to understand that I’m doing this because I want to share my works with you. I don’t need anybody else to distribute my works for me.

Yeah, getting popular out of the site I’m most active in is cool, but do you realize how very few people go back to the artist’s sources? What they’re praising isn’t my art, it’s the fanpage they saw it in. I’m only another picture on their feed. And that. Is. Not. Right. It’s so unfair that so many other artists have to tolerate the same treatment--we aren’t machines producing content for feed that isn’t ours. If you really want my art on your page, it’s called the reblog button.

So essentially, from here on out, reposting my art from any time on any social media is forbidden.

I’ve said it on every post since June. I used to allow people if they asked me first, but seeing as some people can’t even follow my simple rule, I have to take that privilege away. if you posted my art with my permission however, you don’t need to take whatever piece you asked to post down. but know that just because I gave you permission for one post, doesn’t allow you to post any more than that. deuces.
