one of the art projects I'm working on requires stickers and I just finished them and figured hopefully you guys would like them to,

The mooncakes took way too much time and you might've noticed I've kinda cheated and re-used a sticker of Chang'E and Hou Yi but shhhh..... (they don't know that)

First time I've drawn Guanyin...or Erlang...or Nuwa...OK Fine. I probably should vary who I draw.

Wukong in the opera costume! Don't get me wrong, I love the lmk fit but I wanted to put him in something a little more...regal. Something befitting the great sage equal to heaven.

Sun Wukong is such a cool character across the board since if you genderbent the character - very little would change other than the reactions of those around them.

LMK: Same character. Only difference is brief confusion from MK and Tang, who adjust their pronouns when speaking of Dawn accordingly. Relationship with Macaque unchanged.

Hero is Back: Short red hair, chewing on hay, tall af? Thats half the butch farmers in my county. Liuer has a brief moment of "The Great Sage is a woman?" before going straight back to fanboying about how cool Dasheng is. Zhu Bajie is likely shocked and appalled that he was defeated by a woman - tho still shoots his shot. Attract does not work on Dasheng. Story accidentally becomes a tale of a mother sacrificing her life to protect her son, and ends with the son sacrificing himself to protect his new mother.

Reborn: Still a chaotic hissing gremlin of a monkey. Brief moment of funny where the very feminine Taoist acolytes misgender Smokey as male since she still looks the same. Zhu Bajie hesistates to hit on Smokey (despite her very convincingly diguising herself as his wife during his recruitment), since she terrifies him. Smokey still arises from their false death cloaked in blue flame and lava. And still mourns the loss of Fruitie.

NewGods: Bigger plot twist of Ace's identity. No one has figured out her identity for so long (including Ao Guang) cus they all assumed SWK was a guy. Still a giggling, gambling lush. Yunxiang: "Hey whos this drunken, half-dressed old lady offerring to train me in exchange for a motorbike- oh sweet Buddha she's the Monkey King."

1999/2000 Cartoon: Sugar is already femme af. No change.

Netflix: Little character change, though Cherry's story would indirectly become a glass ceiling situation with the Immortals. Men can become immortal by killing lots of evil demons (source: Erlang & Hou Yi), but women gotta suffer (source: Guanyin). Bonus girl bonding with Lin.

Smash Legends: Starfruit leans into gender stereotypes for the views. Goes full tiktok e-girl with her asethetic. Would form punk girl band with Goldie.

And lets not forget how many live-action Sun Wukongs are played by women actors and/or stuntwomen.

The 8 Most Powerful Artifacts in History according to the World of Lego Monkie Kid

Okay, this screenshot was taken in the Season 1, episode 3. Princess Iron Fan was talking about Mei’s family Legendary Dragon Blade when she let out the holograms of the “most powerful artifacts in history.”

I’ll try to identify these holograms. 

Disclaimer: I maybe proven wrong by the time future seasons of LMK come.

1. The Wheels of Fire and Wind / Fenghuo Lun (风火轮)

The Wheels of Fire and Wind were used by Nezha, a powerful child god and warrior, who fought the Monkey King and later on became allies. 

Nezha uses the wheels to summon supernatural fire  and travel great distances by standing on top of them. [1]

2. Diamond Snare OR Shimmering  Golden Rope

The Diamond Snare was made by Lao Tzu. This was the weapon used to finally capture the Monkey King while fighting Erlang Shen (nephew of the Jade Emperor) in Journey to the West. 

The Diamond Snare has another form which is the Golden Jade Ring, used by the Single-Horned Rhinoceros King to suck away weapons. [3]

This can also be the Shimmering Golden Rope or Huang Jinshen (幌金绳) is previously a waist sash of Lao Tzu. It is one of the many treasures of the Gold and Silver Demons. By throwing the rope, it will instantly bind to an enemy. [1]

3. Magic Demon-Destroyer Staff / Jiàng Yāo Bǎo Zhàng (降妖宝杖)

While there wasn’t any mentioned unique capabilities, it was said that this weapon was made by Lu Ban, the Chinese deity of contractors and builders. [4]

 It is wielded by Sandy in Journey to the West.

4. Banana Leaf Fan / Bajiao Shan (芭蕉扇)

Princess Iron Fan’s Banana Leaf Fan that is capable of summoning cyclones and storms. [1] This weapon was one of the conflicts between the Monkey King and the Demon Bull King.

5. The Golden Staff / Ruyi Jingu Bang (如意金箍棒)

The Monkey King's staff made of iron and gold. While few can lift it (it weighs 7,960 kg), not many can command it as it only listens to the Monkey King alone.

Rú yì meaning "as you wish"

Jīn meaning "gold" or "metals"

Gū meaning "band" or "ring"

Bang meaning "staff" or "stick"

Before it was the "Ru Yi Jin Gu Bang", it served as the stabilizer of the four seas named "Tian He Ding Di Shen Zhu Tie." It was made by Lao Tzu and acts as an enormous pillar in the Eastern Sea Dragon King's palace. [8] 

4. Dragon Blade

I haven’t found any source for this yet. But according to the Lego Monkie Kid, it is linked to the Dragon of the West, Ao Run, father of the White Dragon Horse who was Tripitaka’s steed during JTTW.  

Ao Run imbued it with powers so that the true clan member can weild it to protect the family. 

5.  Seven Stars Sword - Qixing Baojian (七星宝剑)

Judging by the marks on its blade, this might be the Seven-Star Sword [5] or Precious Sword of the Dipper [1]. It is made by Lao Tzu and stolen by the Gold and Silver Horned Demon Brothers. [5] It allows them to match the Monkey King’s prowess during battle and were only defeated when the sword was taken away.

The Seven-Star Sword is similar to to Chinese straightswords that have seven brass plugs inserted into the blade.[6] 

However, the marks on the blade above might indicate that this is the Qingfeng Sword (青锋剑). It is wielded by the Southern King of the Buddhist Four Heavnly Kings named Zeng Zhang Tian Wang (增长天王). It could summon winds and a fire-spewing serpent. However, unlike the Seven-Star sword, this weapon has appeared in Investiture of the Gods and not JTTW. [1]

6. Red Boy's Zhang Ba Fire-tipped Spear OR Nezha's Huojian Qiang

This spear can be Red Son’s Zhang Ba Fire-Tipped Spear (丈八火尖枪 zhàng bā huǒ jiān qiāng) that he used to fight with as Red Boy. [7]

Or this can be Nezha’s Fire-Tipped Spear or Huojian Qiang  (火尖枪) that can shoot fire. [1]

7. Purple-Gold Red Gourd /  Zijin Hong Hulu (紫金红葫芦)

I don’t think this is the Calabash in Season 1, Episode 5. I believe this is once again one of the treasures of the Gold and Silver Horned Demon Brothers made (once again) by Lao Tzu. 

The Purple-Gold Red Gourd can capture a living being and reduced them to goo. [1]

8. Precious Sheet- Metal Rake /Shangbao Qinjin Ba (上宝沁金耙)

This weapon is also known as Nine-Toothed Rake or Jiuchi Dingba (九齿钉耙). [1] It is wielded by Zhu Ba Jie or LMK Pigsy's ancestor, Pigsy.

It's made by Lao Tzu and bestowed to him by the Jade Emperor. It resembles an iron farmer’s rake with elaborate carvings. [1]

It’s interesting how there are 8 powerful artifacts when 8 is a lucky number in Chinese numerology.

help I can stop drawing dragons! It’s a curse! I tried to give Ao Yi a more fluffy/cloudy look to him since Ao Guang in lmk has cloud like fur. Is it fur? Do Chinese dragons have fur???

ANYWAYS! Ao Jinhai, the fourth dragon prince of the East Sea. When his fur was mostly yellow. The reason Ao Guang didn’t name him Ao Sì, is because I didn’t know that this dude named his sons, one, two, and three! So let’s just pretend his wife decided that enough was enough and named him Ao Jinhai for his golden fur.

although Ao Jinhai/Dushe Jingshen will slowly lose his golden hue over the years. Until it is barely there. He also looses his freckles as he gets older. now I wanna draw the East fam. Especially Ao Bing.

First we have -Ping Coa-

He is a very mysterious and cold demon! He used to be sweet and nice. But sadly something tragic happened. In his younger years his lover was killed in a massacre and he’s been furious ever since!

Ping doesn’t typically use his powers(Telekinesis and light control) But if the demon/person he’s fighting is powerful enough. Then he is not afraid to use them.

Ping is around 1000 years old, yet in mortal years he’s around twenty three!

-Ao Jinhai/Dushe Jingshen-

I made him before I realized that Ao Guang names his children 1, 2, and 3…

I’m only going to explain his past. Parts about his future is top secret! Unless I’m bored and want to share things.

He is the fourth and youngest son of Ao Guang. Jinhai loved hanging out with his brothers. After all, he was a child. But then, Ao Bing and Nezha fought. His brother had died to the Third Lotus Prince. And Jinhai had hated him ever since.

Years had passed and Ao Guang was getting strict. Especially to Ao Jinhai. Now, after everything that has happened to Jinhai so far made him wonder. He wanted answers. He wanted to fight the Third Lotus Prince. Which is such a terrible idea but he’s grieving.

But Ao Guang makes sure that Ao Jia, Ao Yi, and Ao Jinhai can’t go check out the surface. Which pisses them all off but Ao Guang is spooky so none of them do anything.

That is until Ao Jinhai runs away.

Long story short, he realizes that he definitely can’t take on Nezha. So he hides away from his father and brothers for a bit. Meets some snake friends. When he meets these cool snakes(they’re normal snakes) he realizes he can talk to them. He can even shapeshift into a snake! But sadly that’s all his shapeshifting powers could do.

After a while jttw starts. Bing bang boom he meets them. After accidentally killing everybody in a village. Everybody is pissed off, Ao Lie is there.

It seems I forgot to mention Ao lie, Ao Jinhai’s cousin. BUT WAIT!!! Does that mean… *gasp* Ao Jinhai is actually Mei’s GREAT UNCLE!?!?!?! I think that’s the correct familial term for whatever that is. But they just call each other cousins.

Ao Jinhai changes his name to Dushe Jingshen so when people ever refer to him. Ao Guang and his brothers would never find him!

-Shan Ji de-

Where do I even start? So she doesn’t really have much of a story. She’s 21, but 800 in demon years.

She’s a celestial monkey with three noses(a curse really)

And with those three noses she can smell almost anything!

Ji de is based off of a golden-headed lion tamarin!

She basically has all the basic celestial monkey powers. Like shapeshifting, golden eyes of truth. Other things as well…

I honestly don’t really have a story for her! She’s mostly just a chaotic and goofy little goober!

Kěpà has a depressing childhood… his father was abusive towards him and his mother. And as a young fox spirit(that’s all he is) he couldn’t do a single thing.

But his father will always leave an impact on his life. After Kěpà becomes an adult, he decides enough is enough. After all, shapeshifters are extraordinary

He would go on to use his talents for horrible things, even if these people were good or bad. He would shapeshift into a woman, flirt with whichever victim seemed to be into it. And then invite that man to his place. He would go onto reveal his true self, kill the person. Chop them up and make soup.

Just don’t interact with this guy if you’re a man.
