A very timely visit as all eyes are on Jenin by an Australian delegation of parliamentarians and aid officials. Thanks for your visit and looking forward to working with you to get Australia on the right track here.
Big thanks to the Australia Palestine Advocacy Network (APAN) team for making this happen.

170 hours later and this behemoth project is completed. After being moved to tears three times by Dr. Alareer's poem, I needed to create something. Hopefully this honours his memory.
Hoping to get some funding from local orgs to get this printed into a physical booklet for distribution.
From the river, to the sea!

On 19th Dec 2023 hundreds of local Palestinian Australians received government emails to say that despite holding ausyralian visas, hundreds of families trapped in Gaza were no longer eligible for consular assistance because they didn't meet a narrow definition of 'immediate family' This definition goes against the general interpretation of 'immediate family' in Australian legislation.
Txt image 2:
Feras Shaheen an ATS family member and a leader of Tasmanian Palestine Advocacy Network (TPAN) produced this 15min video with members of the Palestinian community who have family in Gaza. Listen to how the Australian Governments recent decision to withdraw consular support for visa holders has impacted them and their families. Mainstream media is not telling these stories.
Txt image 3:
Nearly 6,000 emails have been sent to MPs around the country demanding action from the Department of foreign affairs and Trade to re establish consular support to bring these Gaza S to Australia to reunite with their families. There has been no official statement in response and the situation has not changed. Every day that people remain trapped in Gaza they are at risk of being killed by Isr@el.
