So now that Fate and Lucifer have met, what do they think of each other? Do they get along? Fight? What happens?

Oh! They don’t actually officially meet.

They’re the renegade and paragon of my au of rejvu yes but also…it’s an au that has been made since before 13.5 release. My verse isn’t really canon compliant now. At least from karma files onwards :p

Fate and Lucifer were both made before 13.5 same with their connection. This is because I was very curious about the whole world resetting fact and how the MC was thought to be behind it, albeit briefly and I was like, what if it was? So, Lucifer is the first timeline, however he comes to regret his decision of renegade and resets the timeline, deciding to have someone else take his place which was Fate. That’s the whole story concept for Fairytale.

13.5….kinda broke that whole concept but I like it, I’m keeping it. It’s why I typically refer to Fairytaleverse as an au/own verse of Rejvu. As it goes against the canon story alot. Also I justify it by Karma. Karma is trying many different stories for the best ending, who’s to say he wouldn’t try one where the interceptor did reset the timeline once themselves. Am I expecting future updates to make me keeping this concept harder? Yes. Do I care? No.

I like the concept. I like the horror I have made it bring. I’m having fun thinking about how having renegade happen before affects paragon and all the people in it. I’m having fun that’s all that matters.

So no, Lucifer and Fate haven’t actually met, that doesn’t mean they don’t know about each other though. Fate keeps seeing Lucifer is various places. Remenets of Renegade. In the Darchlight Caves, Nightmare Relam, the Chess Board(??), Whenever she dies, Zeight when Adrest was being deleted…she’s seen glimpses of him. She doesn’t know who he is but she knows he’s important. I haven’t really have fully settled/am satisfied of where to place Lucifer yet but either way: he knows she exists and is doing much better than he ever could.

STRENGTH – Who is the most famous historical figure?

The answer has to be Aquila Mancinus, the warrior-poet who unified the various hobgoblin tribes that became the Empire. Aquila never formally adopted the title of emperor nor believed in the newly created faith of the Imperial Cult, but he is commonly considered to be the first Emperor. He is almost worshipped in the Empire, considered a demigod child of Solis (the sun god of the Imperial Cult).

However, the part-elves utterly revile him, as the crusades he started are the main reason their kingdom fell. And while I haven't talked about them yet, the lizardfolk and humans of the Basin hold some measure of respect for Aquila. They see him simply as a strong and charismatic unifier, and the success of the crusades and the power of the nation he helped found lends credence to that view.

Aquila is probably one of the few historical figures who would actually live up the hype and myth that has been built around him. Beyond just being strong and charismatic, he was honorable and just; his laws, the Aquilan Code, applied to nobles just as much as soldiers or farmers; and during the crusades he gave opposing elven forces options for surrender and did not attack non-combatants.

However, after he died of old age, his favored general took control and created the role of emperor, justifying it by saying that the fledgling empire would always need a strong leader like Aquila. Going forward, the general and his successors ended many of the more progressive features of the Aquilan Code, pursued the elves much more ruthlessly, and turned Aquila's call for unity into a call for uniformity.

a sketch of some daemon fulgrim redesign efforts! i'll try to polish the sketch up and finish it at some point in the future. two versions for variety of fulgrim modesty, take your pick - i actually imagine hed probably cover up with a big old necklace. design rambles under the cut

the pink thing at the top left w/ the modified slaaneshi symbol is one big scar. i like motifs of three for him (for obvious reasons) so one arm had to go, top left seemed the best choice. if you look up official art the aquila's always on his right shoulder so w/e

most of the impetus for the idea was a fairly minor thing - the idea of him, instead of using a scabbard, straight-up keeping a sword through his stomach. (it's not The sword, i know he doesn't have it anymore, don't worry). obviously slaaneshi body modding and all that, also it being through his bellybutton is fun for rebirth motifs and w/e. i imagine he's constantly fidgeting w it and it freaks every non-slaaneshi around him out

his face wasnt coming out too well when i drew this so i gave up on his head but i'm floating a couple diff ideas for his horns. could look like a crown, could do more asymmetry with four horns but the rightmost or second rightmost horn has been sawn off at the bottom hellboy-style, etc. if you have suggestions i would like to hear them!
