Turbo Granny ends up the unwilling foster grandparent to a snot nosed human child and somehow can’t get rid of him.

Perhaps it’s because he is emotionally attached to her, or perhaps he attracts enough attention from the local creeps that he keeps her feed without having to lift a finger. Either way, she won’t let that shaman bitch take her future prey/unintentional grandson without a fight.

low key i think to deny Riko's trauma is to deny his narrative importance in the story.

like Riko's trauma related to his father parallels neil's. His concept of brotherhood adds complexity to Andrew and Aaron's relationship. He acts not just as an antagonist but as a foil to other character's relationship to trauma and violence.

to solely view riko through the lense of his actions is to miss the point. He is a character in a story, not a real breathing human being.

Can anyone tell me why Saruman/Gandalf isn’t a thing? It seems like such an unfairly ignored ship, especially in "The Silmarillion" fandom. Because I get that not everyone’s into shipping two old dudes, but Silm fans know they used to look very different (and artists do draw them as young and beautiful), so why aren’t they shipped? 😑

Just imagine Olorin crushing on Curumo since the Elder Days, pining for him through all the long ages until they were both sent to Middle-earth. It would explain why he didn’t realize Saruman wasn’t loyal to the Valar anymore, and it makes everything so much more angsty. And the fact that Saruman offered him to join him probably means Gandalf’s feelings weren’t as one-sided as they seemed 😌

(But seriously — 27 works? Only 27??? When crack ships between characters who’ve never even interacted have more? I just don’t get it 🥲🥲🥲)
