The next dragon age game should be out in the next few years and netflix has a dragon age show coming out (I'm nervous about that tho,knowing Netflix and their habits)

Also: ELDERSCROLLS ONLINE while they dont have as many lgbtq+ elements as the Dragon age series,they are trying. Its been a few years since I did a through play through, but there are many gay men and women in the game,the daedra are sexless entities who chose their own pronouns ( he/him,She/her) and there is an intersex god,though he goes by He/him pronouns, and there's a MtF trans woman in the Summerset Expansion who you go to find for her sister,but her sister didn't know that 1.she was trans and 2.She had used magic to fully transition. And while at first her sister Deadnames her out of shock,once she realizes that she has A Sister and not a brother,they embrace and they sit at the beach to talk to one another because the Cis sister genuinely loves her Trasgender Sister and feels that its time she truly gets to know her.

Honestly I'm so happy that as tome progresses,fantasy games get more and more inclusive and openly so.

Also in dragon age inquisition there are 4 main possible lgbtq romances I'm aware of

Dorian-Gay wizard,his dad tried to use forbidden magic to force him to be strait,when he caught wind of what his dad planned,he left. You can help reconcile the two,and if you're character is male, you can romance him(ive romanced him as a male character cause one of my closeted friends wanted to do so but couldn't risk getting caught,so I romamced him and recorded it for him on my phone at the time,and let him use my phone whenever he wanted,things are much better for him now btw) if you dont romance him,he dates The Iron Bull.

Josephine:Lady Josephine is the eldest child and has many resposabilities. She has great diplomatic skill and empathy. She's a little dense and it takes Liliana (lovingly) threatening you with harm if you harm her for her to realize you like her romantically (you also just gotta plane tell her) you can be either gender. Also you get to duel for her hand in marriage.

okay so for starters i’m here to say holy crap i love how you write tommy and i keep forgetting to say that! you do him more than justice, you do his character like double justice. (now i’m wondering what double justice would look like in the justice system…. probably lots of paperwork)

next i’m here to say holy moly macaroni you write dream so well. (i just realized i haven’t put !cs before things so i’m doing that now. i’m a bit tired and stuff so whejsmshfjd)  cs!dream gives me the heeby jeebies and i literally wanted to shake cs!ranboo by the shoulders the entire time he was interacting with cs!dream but i was also like hashtag relatable so oh well! you’ve just done the whole dynamic really well! (i know its not much but the fact that cs!dream was planting the ideas of “i’m your only friend/your friends want to hurt you” thoughts into cs!ranboo’s brain was an excellent touch! it was something i’ve learned about in a class about abusers and stuff and how they try and isolate people and yea c!dream did this so idk maybe i’m making a big deal out of nothing but. i thought you wrote it really well! like really well)

He *supposedly* can't go to your practices, because there's too many things that would draw attention to him, but he still makes sure you're OK using clairvoyance, he watches from a distance

However when practice is over he will go over to walk you home with snacks and drinks

If you forget something he quickly pops over when no one is looking and slips it into your bag

He does go to as many of your performances as possible though. He acts like its a pain but he enjoys seeing your hard work pay off. He stays in the back rows, so it might be hard to see him while on stage but he comes up to greet you after the show

He knows it's difficult doing such a binary coded activity, so he offers as much mental help as possible

Placing good affirmations in your thoughts, hanging out with you while you're on a break, and showing interest when you're ready to start again

Let's be 100% honest here, he has no idea how tf ballet works, but he knows it's not to be taken lightly and it's a lot of work

He shows up to as many practices as possible, and if he can't he insists on at least walking you to make sure you have everything you need

Is blown away by every single one of your performances, it doesn't matter how you think you did, all he knows is that to him it looked stunning

Brings you your favorite flowers or treats as a congratulations and treats you to dinner after :)

He was a bit confused when you needed to take a break

But upon realizing how strict and traditional ballet can be, he supports you through your break

He's proud of you for making it this far, and prioritizing your mental health

Once again, he doesn't know anything about ballet, but he probably goes on a tangent or 2 about how stupid it was that all your outfits had skirts

If you ever go back to ballet after your break, he makes sure to go to your first practices to make sure you're ok

He gives off "took ballet classes as a kid cause it was either that or piano" vibes, so he probably understands your situation more than anyone

He definitely goes to most of your practices to make sure your studio and instructors are at least decent in his eye and is sure to get you nice equipment to prevent discomfort or injuries

He's probably more eager for you to take a break than you are, because he knows it's hard. When you do take a break, he becomes uncharacteristically nice to you

If you're bummed about loosing practice time, or missing the movements or how you felt while by yourself, he has a little studio in his house that you can use

If you just need time to recharge and calm down, he's ready to just chill and hang out with you all you want

Once you're ready to go back, he starts going to practices with you using his former knowledge to keep up. If you're gonna have to partner up with anyone it's going to be him. End of discussion

He usually doesn't like wearing clothes like this, but he'll carry around a sweatshirt with him so you can cover up after practice if you're feeling a bit dysphoric

Goes to all your practices

Even if he can only show up for 5 minutes because of his own sport practice, he will show up

As a class rep and competitive athlete, he knows that a little encouragement can go a long way, so imagine how far a lot can go!

He just wants you to know you have his support and he thinks you're doing a great job

He makes sure to get seats front and center at all your recitals, he wants to have a clear view of you, and wants you to be able to notice him in the audience

Number one hypeman after you do literally anything!

He knows you're working hard and putting in your effort and there's nothing more admirable than that

However if you need to take a break that's ok too! Breaks are good for you, because it means you'll come back better than ever

Contrary to the others who soften up for you, Hairo stays the same as ever, if anything more enthusiastic. Maybe you need a break from ballet but that just means there's more time to indulge yourself in other interests and time with him

When you're ready to go back, he's thrilled and ready to see you back in action! Nothing makes him happier than seeing you enjoy yourself and seeing all the hard work and dedication paying off and coming to a beautiful resolve

ahhh yea, lot of things actually. ask anyone in the warriors fandom n theyll have theyr complaints, usually a lot of them cause theres currently 30 main books, 6 books for the origin of the clans series, 11 side books, 13 manga, 9 novellas, n 6 field guides, making around 75 books all together (some longer than others of course) w more coming, so theres gonna be a lot to pick apart. some main reasons is that theres little to no lgbt rep, n the little hints r few n far between, never really confirmed. theres ableist things in it too, like how disabled characters cant be warriors n r forced into positions they dont want. theres also a lot of misinformation in even just the main books cause theres like three writers who r all doing their own thing working under the name ‘erin hunter’. they try to offer up canon family trees too but, especially in the first series, there ends up being so much incest cause they dont wanna change their minds on something that was decided years ago, which makes at least one canon couple be uncle / niece n many others direct cousins. its a mess loll. even when they do specify families in the books tho they hardly touch up on them n when they do its ... for the most part inaccurate n only for the drama. dont even get me started on alllll the goddam forbidden relationships in the series kjednk

but yea, those r the big ones. people also have their own little nick picks on characters n certain plot points. so what do ya do when theres so much u dont like about a series that has, i kid u not, infinite potential ? u rewrite it of course loll. for my rewrite im just kinda focusing on what id like to see, which is why i made the main character a gay trans guy lolll. i also wanna flesh out side characters who never got to shine too. also family !!!! is !!!! important !!! among other things too loll

That’s the message the LGBTQ community is sending the Trump administration, after the U.S. Census Bureau revealed this week that questions related to sexuality or gender identity will not be included in the 2020 U.S. Census or the more detailed American Community Survey.

The move caused LGBTQ media advocacy organization GLAAD to declare that the Trump administration is “erasing the LGBTQ community from the USA.” The feeling of erasure has resonated with the community, leading queer people to mobilize around the hashtag #CantEraseUs.

An earlier draft of questions planned for the 2020 U.S. Census and American Community Survey, simply dated “March 2017,” included “sexual orientation” and “gender identity” in its appendix, indicating there might be LGBTQ-focused questions for the first time ever. It would be a form of inclusion that advocates and some federal agencies, like the U.S. Department of Justice and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, have long pushed for.

But no questions on sexuality or gender identity appeared in the actual survey draft, leading many to suspect that the questions would be added later.

Ultimately, the questions were never added, and the appendix items were removed in the finalized version delivered to Congress on Tuesday.

“The Subjects Planned for the 2020 U.S. Census and American Community Survey report released today inadvertently listed sexual orientation and gender identity as a proposed topic in the appendix,” U.S. Census Bureau director John Thompson said in a statement. “The report has been corrected.”

Other identity-based questions covering race, sex (only male or female, referring to sex assigned at birth), and ethnicity, however, will appear in the 2020 U.S. Census.

The announcement comes just a week after the the Trump administration proposed to eliminate questions about LGBTQ elders from the National Survey of Older Americans Act Participants.

“Caring about our LGBT elders means making sure they have access to publicly funded senior services, which can be literally life-saving,” Michael Adams, CEO of Services and Advocacy for GLBT Elders (SAGE), said in a statement. “Now, it appears that the Trump administration wants to make believe LGBT older people don’t exist, by erasing them from this critically important survey.”

On social media, members of the LGBTQ community and allies have joined together in virtual protest, speaking out about the dangers of not counting queer people in national surveys.

“As an LGBT individual, I am livid that Trump will erase me and my peers from the Census,” one Twitter user wrote with the #CantEraseUs hashtag. “I will not go quietly into oppression.”

Data may be boring, but it matters

The U.S. Census may be a stale survey many loathe participating in, but it actually has immense importance for marginalized groups.

Data helps put hard facts behind the discrimination and bias facing those most at risk. Data can also help illuminate where federal funding needs to be allocated and legislation needs to be introduced to improve the lives of marginalized citizens.

Right now, the clarity of data doesn’t exist at least on a federal level to help improve the lives of the LGBTQ community.

U.S. Census data has the potential to help show how many LGBTQ people are unemployed, live in poverty, and use federal programs to survive. Independent surveys conducted by LGBTQ advocacy organizations have found that LGBTQ people depend heavily on federal services, faced with high rates of homelessness, low rates of employment, and income inequality.
