i can’t believe I didn’t try using Astral as an online name before now. yes, I had had it as a placeholder on something for ages, but having

a way of referencing one of my absolute most treasured interests that has been so treasured since I was little (DQIX),

without it necessarily being directly tied to that interest,

and that also works as a link to what is arguably my most recent new interest (FFXIV) despite that not being at all intentional,

as well as being a name that so far does not activate either my latent “it’s too edgy” hangups about going by Void or my “it’s not serious enough” hangups about going by Echo,

really does make it click into place well.

Hello, everyone ^-^ it has been some time since I was last here, but I would like to try and ease into reconnecting with people, so that’s why I’ve made this post!

My main name here is Void, though I’ve also gone by Echo in the past (and friends might know me as Aria). I’m currently 21, and use she/her pronouns. For more information, please see my selfship carrd!

This - @flowering-darkness - is my new selfship blog; I have previously been at @void-kissed and @tiny-cloud-of-flowers, which will both remain as archives! Unlike those, this new blog is a primary blog, so I can follow others and send asks from here, and so on.

I selfship in lots of different games, from Pokémon to Kingdom Hearts to Xenoblade Chronicles to FFXIV - and many more! I really enjoy getting to see people who also selfship in things I know~

Dream Trip: I would love to tour China. This would probably take a month to see everything I want to see across such a large and diverse country but that would be my ultimate dream. A close second is Egypt if I could get ahole of SPF 987658765 sunscreen cause I am quite fair.

When I created this blog: A little over a month ago I think.

Why I created this blog: I really am falling in love with RPing in FF XIV. It took a while to really get to this point since it was outside my comfort zone from past games and I had some initially rocky experiences, but I have met some wonderful people and had some great times. I really wanted to branch out more and get to know more people and create stories with them as well as just make friends and socialize with like minded people. It also was recommended by some lovely friends like @final-aria-fantasy, @not-another-universe , and @rosaura-ff14 as a good way to get people to know my character a bit better and make new connections. Most of all, I saw what all you cool kids were doing here and I wanted to follow you and get to know you better.

Going Multimuse

Ok I've decided. I'm going to change this blog into a multimuse blog. It's just going to be easier for me in the long run, as well as possibly everyone else since they won't need to divide their attention/asks/whatever across multiple blogs? I have some things to decide on still in regards to this merger, including a new username (thinking aria-ffxiv would work? since aria is my online moniker and my art blog is aria-art so it'd match?), so please bear with me while changes are made!

in your guys opinion what's the best way to handle stuff like previous asks I answered on the other blogs and LFRP posts?

Apart from Hythlodaeus (which remains quite private and that I only accept to write on request with certain people) and Sharavai which is a new OC, Lucia and Ysayle are the two muses with whom I have the least requests.

That I take inspiration from the French version of FFXIV to interpret them - so it can change from the English version, that they are canon or canon semi-divergent, that they have their own Headcanons and that I will not change them to please some people just because it does not suit them and that I do not ship them easily.

I will not ship any of the muses from this blog together! Or maybe just Hades and Hythlodaeus. However, when I write the Heacanon/fanfictions of Aria (my Warrior of Light), I use my Emet-Selch and my Ardbert.
