You gotta be kidding me. I can't even watch this show into the first fucking season without getting a bisexual dilemma. they actually expanded on helena’s aboriginal heritage! we have so many “historical” scenes that entirely are in latin and lakota and cantonese (i think, correct me if im wrong) it’s wonderful! the importance of violence as part of resistance is a major theme! the importance and significance of found family is central! the bond between John and Alasie wounded me! Also the sheer levels of sapphic pining between helena and mei-yin jesus fucking CHRIST. That one hot gladiatrix. the action is great. THERES DINOSAURS.

From the upcoming ark series, the character im most excited about is Gladiatrix

Might be because Nerva is my favorite The Island character, but im really curious on what role she might play

Seeing her go against Mei on her own in the trailer is very interesting... I dont think this was a direct command from Nerva or anything similar

The only time Nerva ever went after Mei specifically was because she went to the Obelisks, thus interfering with Nervas plans to take over the Obelisks power. He didn't really seem interested in hunting her down and killing her, as long as she didnt bother the New Legion. Maybe Gladiatrix is the one who will go after her Instead, by her own decision

Maybe out of pride, believing she can take Mei down after Mei beat the Legion twice, or maybe to get recognition from the New Legion and even Nerva himself. Whatever it is, i support her fully i Love you Gladiatrix i hope you are very interesting

This entire theory might be a stretch and its only because im starved of ark content so take this very unseriously...
