Inspired by @drygrasses lovely Tuggoffelees art they did this time last year, where Tugger and Misto dressed as each other for Halloween. And this year I saw that and was like: well what if they were actual cats?

Starry Night in the Junkyard

So I actually consider myself a traditional artist first, and a digital artist second. I just hardly ever do fanart in a traditional medium. It was nice getting into oils again!

The upper 2/3rds is comprised of swirls of blue sky with yellow stars and a yellow moon haloed with light. Thin clouds cross diagonally across the moon to homage the stage show. Dawn is breaking in the bottom left corner.

The lower 1/3 has two main parts. The cats are depicted as actual cats. The Junkyard is illuminated by the car headlights, backlighting 7 cats. Tugger is centered, strutting towards the viewer, looking up at Misto who is standing closest to the foreground on a hill. Around Tugger are an assortment of other cats, including Bomba, who is walking towards him, and Munk, who is hissing on the tire. No cats faces are visible.
