cycle
I wonder if this is how
those that came before us felt
as the black plague pulled them low
a cyclical tale of woe
the Spanish influenza
claimed souls and piled up the dead
into mass graves and ashes
a communal resting bed
kings, priests, dictators grew sick
wives, mothers, and daughters gone
they’re a cold, hard statistic
a story where no one won
yet the world will keep turning
with mistake after mistake
the sun is there by morning
the light to greet us awake
we’re destined to retrace steps
create art and beauty from pain
a long repetitive mess
an urge that can’t be contained
sorrow is universal
felt through all generations
a harsh, needed reminder
of our need for connections
our ancestors hid in caves
and drew on walls in the dark
shared stories by the bonfire
till their minds and voices tired
they stayed in their homes and wrote
timeless poetry and songs
played violins as boats sank
trying to right all the wrongs
being human is not kind
comfort makes a man idle
leads to a rotting mind
harsher than any riptide
there are days you cannot breathe
like rocks are pulling you down
to the bottom of the sea
where no one can hear you drown
let yourself sink all the way
for a minute, for a day
breathe, scream, cry like we all did
when we came into this world

The lost boys across generations.
This is all just my headcanon, that could honestly change at any minute. 👀. My headcanons are based off the prequel script! Pls read it.
This also includes my headcanon of Werewolves in the lost boys universe!
I'm a big history lover but don't be surprised if I got some stuff wrong, I'm not from California or any of these decades, but did a lot of research on it. So that was fun!
Comment your own headcanons i need more!!!!!
1910's
Tumblr media
Having still getting used to the whole vampire gig, they have troubles adjusting to their new powers. Marko breaks a lot of things accidently, Paul accidently floats off when he jumps and doesn't know how to get down.
Dwayne was disappointed in the no sun ever thing, he really did enjoy visiting the beach and the warmth of the sun. So :(.
David was more morally affected of the murder part, he has facing against eating the innocent and eating the guilty. Though he realized how hard it is to tell the difference between good and evil. And after talking to Max about it he figured just not eating family's or children would soothe his morals.
The boys really didn't want to depend on Max for money at first, and seeing as California really depended on Fishing, they'd help sailors and fishermen through the night. Gathering coin from their work and possibly from the others pockets.
Though eventually the workers were sick of their antics and kicked the boys from the fishing docks. By that time they realized how much money Max has and said well why not.
Baseball was introduced to America during this decade and while I hate saying this, they enjoy it. Playing some ball to pass some time and to feel at least a little human.
I hate saying it bc of twilight. Fuck u twilight.
The influenza made the boys learn that they are unaffected by disease and from that they realized how short of a life span man has. So the next decade they lived through it fully.
1920's
Tumblr media
Hollywood shined through California, bringing in plenty of blood and fun.
Marko had small gigs as a singer in some speakeasys, he enjoyed the attention and showing off.
Paul learned how to play guitar during this decade and loves it to this day.
Dwayne at one point was scouted by an acting agent but Dwayne quickly declined and oh no..ate the guy. Whoops.
The boys did push back the threat of other gangs marching through Santa Carla, by obviously. Eating them.
Through many decades, Max was very introverted. And stuck to his home in the busy nightlife of Santa Carla.
From gangs and people coming into California. Came werewolves.
1930's
Tumblr media
They gained the name 'The Lost Boys' in this decade from the locals.
The stock market crashed, causing many to go into poverty. The boys understood facing the problem of poverty and in this decade decided to leave the needy be.
Instead they tried to feed from the humans who have no worries, and stole from them. Giving the goods to the locals who needed it more.
Much of this decade they decided to stay in the shadows, trying to be even unseen as night.
Along with the fact that Dracula (1931) just came out, they really don't need that kind of publicity. Plus Max prevented them from doing any rash decisions.
Though murder was still very high in Santa Carla because the werewolves were running rapid. While they mainly stuck to the woods, some did travel to the docks, poverty stricken neighborhoods, just to feast.
1940s
Tumblr media
Then came the war, the internment camps, the fear.
The boys thrived from this fear.
They easily avoided getting drafted, by claiming to be gay. Which they weren't lying 👀.
By the 40s, they've had vampire foursomes. No doubt in my mind.
When the war ended in 1945, hitchhiking became very popular.
This was the year they got their own bikes, by got i mean stolen.
With their bikes they picked up lonesome hitchhikers, and played as hitchhikers in the night.
Though by the 40s the tension between the vampires and werewolves were high. The groups would constantly test each other which would end in bloody fights. The boys were outnumbered by the werewolves as they breed fast but, they had the skill over the wolves to keep them at bay.
1950s
Tumblr media
The tension between werewolves and Vampires are on thin ice. The boys take full advantage of the greaser aesthetic and with it attract more victims.
Though they do attract the rivalry of the werewolves.
After decades of tension, the two's leaders have decided to come to a draw.
Meeting at the lighthouse, Max and the wolves leader decides the territory issues
The vampires take the boardwalk and the beach. The werewolves take the forest, and the mountains.
The only neutral part is the walton lighthouse and ofc like peoples houses.
After that issue is solved the boys decide to leave the wolves alone and focus back on their own feasts.
1960s
Tumblr media
While the tension between wolf and vampires has eased, a new tension rises.
Communism, homophobia, raegan, the assassination of Kennedy.
While the political subjects the boys normally stay away from, when polictics decides to stick its nose in the boys way of life. Its a bit teeth grating.
The boys learned to live with hatred but didn't hesitate to eat their enemies, they need to keep the kill count in Santa Carla high after all.
Though they do become the victims of some hate crimes specifically gay hate crimes, along with threats of being arrested for association with communism. Ya know the red scare shit.
Moon landing happen. Or did it?
The boys are contemplating if the moon landing really did happen.
Marko and Paul do try to fly to the moon, get bored not even half way and go back home. Also the sun is always out in space, so not a good idea.
1970s
Tumblr media
The boys are introduced to. Weed.
Ofc they love it, along with mari jane comes rock and a different type of crowd to feast on.
Paul seems to fit right in with the crowd of hippies, Dwayne enjoys their very calming nature but David and Marko are indifferent to the crowd.
Marko would rather run in the city than sit and smoke in the woods. While David enjoys smoking, he doesn't enjoy doing it with humans.
Marko takes a lot of advantage of the busting clubs with disco and fresh blood, David does the same but let's the victims come to him.
The group seem to bypass the movement of the Vietnam War, its just another war. War to them, its useless. Just killing each other? No no, thats theirs job to kill humans.
Max during this decade seemed to be looking for another member to join. Though he stays quiet of it and doesn't mention it to the boys.
1980s
Tumblr media
Their peak
But also their downfall canonically
They love the art, the music, the people.
Everything about the 80s, they soaked right in.
Well..you guys know how they took to the 80s lol.

O54, Masquerade
Tumblr media

Our Ten Most Popular Stories of 2020
Tumblr media
SMITHSONIANMAG.COM | Dec. 30, 2020, 7 a.m.
The year 2020 will go down in history as one of the most extraordinary in modern recollection. A devastating pandemic dominated conversations and our coverage, which detailed why the race for a coronavirus vaccine runs on horseshoe crab blood, explained how to avoid misinformation about Covid-19 and drew lessons from the past by examining diaries penned during the 1918 influenza pandemic. This summer, when a series of protests sparked an ongoing reckoning with systemic racism in the United States, we showed how myths about the past shape our present views on race and highlighted little-known stories about the lives and accomplishments of people of color. Toward the end of the year, amid one of the most bitterly divisive elections in recent history, we delved into the lengthy debate over mail-in voting and the origins of presidential concession speeches.
Despite the challenges posed by 2020, Americans still found reasons to celebrate: Ahead of the 100th anniversary of women’s suffrage, we profiled such pioneering figures as Geraldine Ferraro, the first woman nominated as vice president by a major party, and Fannie Lou Hamer, who fought to secure black voting rights. In the cultural sphere, the discovery of dozens of intact Egyptian coffins thrilled and amazed, as did the reemergence of a long-lost Jacob Lawrence painting. From murder hornets to Venice’s new inflatable floodgates, Catherine the Great and the Smithsonian’s new open-access platform, these were Smithsonian magazine’s top ten stories of 2020.
Our most popular story of 2020 underscored the value of skillful art restoration, presenting a welcome counter to the many botched conservation attempts reported in recent years. As the National Museum of Scotland announced this December, experts used a carved porcupine quill—a tool “sharp enough to remove … dirt yet soft enough not to damage the metalwork,” according to a statement—to clean an Anglo-Saxon cross for the first time in more than a millennium. The painstaking process revealed the silver artifact’s gold leaf adornments, as well as its intricate depictions of the four Gospel writers: Saint Matthew as a human, Saint Mark as a lion, Saint Luke as a calf and Saint John as an eagle. Per writer Nora McGreevy, the cross is one of around 100 objects included in the Galloway Hoard, a trove of Viking-era artifacts found by amateur treasure hunters in 2014.

While most of England was on lockdown during the Covid-19 pandemic, archaeologist Matt Champion unwittingly unearthed more than 2,000 artifacts beneath the attic floorboards of Tudor-era Oxburgh Hall. Highlights of the trove included a 600-year-old parchment fragment still adorned with gold leaf and blue lettering, scraps of Tudor and Georgian silks, and pages torn from a 1568 copy of Catholic martyr John Fisher’s The Kynge’s Psalmes. Detailing the find in an August article, McGreevy noted that British nobleman Sir Edmund Bedingfeld commissioned the manor’s construction in 1482; his devoutly Catholic descendants may have used the religious objects found in the attic during secret masses held at a time when such services were outlawed.
In March, when the world was just beginning to understand the novel coronavirus, researchers learned that the SARS-CoV-2 virus—the pathogen that causes Covid-19—survives for days on glass and stainless steel but dies in a matter of hours if it lands on copper. (In later months, scientists would find that airborne transmission of the virus carries the greatest risk of infection, rather than touching contaminated surfaces.) The metal’s antimicrobial powers of copper are nothing new: As Michael G. Schmidt, a microbiologist and immunologist at the Medical University of South Carolina, told writer Jim Morrison this spring, “Copper is truly a gift from Mother Nature in that the human race has been using it for over eight millennia.” Crucially, copper doesn’t simply dispatch unwanted pathogens at an incredibly fast rate. Its bacteria-combating abilities also endure for long stretches of time. When Bill Keevil and his University of Southampton microbiology research team tested old railings at New York City’s Grand Central Terminal several years ago, for instance, they found that the copper worked “just like it did the day it was put in over 100 years ago.”

The Asian giant hornet, the world’s largest hornet, was sighted in North America for the first time.
(Washington State Dept. of Agriculture)
Another unwelcome surprise of 2020 was the rise of the Asian giant hornet, more infamously known as the “murder hornet” due to its ability to massacre entire hives of bees within hours. The first confirmed sightings of the insects in North America occurred in late 2019, but as Floyd Shockley, entomology collections manager at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History, pointed out in May, observers need not panic, as the hornets don’t realistically pose a threat to human health. Honey bees are more susceptible to the predators, but as Shockley said, “[I]s it going to be global devastation? No.” Still, it’s worth noting that officials in Washington state have since found and eradicated a nest thought to contain about 200 queens. Left unchecked, each of these hornets could have flown off and started a colony of its own. Efforts to contain the invasive species are ongoing.
In October, an engineering feat saved Venice from flooding not once, but twice. The barrier system of 78 giant, inflatable yellow floodgates—known as Mose—can currently be deployed to protect the Italian city from tides measuring up to three-and-a-half feet high. Upon its completion next year, Mose will be able to protect against tides of up to four feet. The floodgates’ installation follows the declaration of a state of emergency in Venice. Last year, the city experienced its worst floods in 50 years, sustaining more than $1 billion in damages and leaving parts of the metropolis under six feet of water. Built on muddy lagoons, Venice battles both a sinking foundation and rising sea levels. Despite the floodgates’ current success, some environmentalists argue that the barriers aren’t a sustainable solution, as they seal off the lagoon entirely, depleting the water’s oxygen and preventing pollution from flowing out.

While Hegra is being promoted to tourists for the first time, the story that still seems to get lost is that of the ancient empire responsible for its existence.
(Royal Commission for AlUla)
Desert-dwelling nomads turned master merchants, the Nabataeans controlled a broad swath of land between the Euphrates River and the Red Sea for some 500 years. But in the millennia following the civilization’s fall in the first century A.D., its culture was almost “lost entirely,” wrote Lauren Keith in November. Today, little written documentation of the Nabataeans survives; instead, archaeologists must draw on clues hidden within the empire’s ruins: namely, two monumental cities carved out of rock. One of these twin settlements—the “Rose City” of Petra in southern Jordan—attracts nearly one million visitors each year. But its sister city of Hegra remains relatively obscure—a fact that Saudi Arabia hopes to change as it shifts focus from oil to tourism. As several scholars told Keith, the Middle Eastern nation’s renewed marketing push represents a chance to learn more about the enigmatic culture. “[Visiting] should evoke in any good tourist with any kind of intellectual curiosity,” said David Graf, a Nabataean specialist, archeologist and professor at the University of Miami. “[W]ho produced these tombs? Who are the people who created Hegra? Where did they come from? How long were they here? To have the context of Hegra is very important.”
The May killing of George Floyd spurred nationwide protests against systemic injustice, acting as a call to action for the reformation of the U.S.’ treatment of black people. As Smithsonian Secretary Lonnie G. Bunch wrote in a short essay published in June, Floyd’s death in police custody forced the country to “confront the reality that, despite gains made in the past 50 years, we are still a nation riven by inequality and racial division.” To reflect this pivotal moment, Smithsonian magazine compiled a collection of resources “designed to foster an equal society, encourage commitment to unbiased choices and promote antiracism in all aspects of life,” according to assistant digital editor Meilan Solly. The resources are organized into six categories: historical context, systemic inequality, anti-black violence, protest, intersectionality, and allyship and education.
Human relationships can be difficult, but at least they don’t involve copulating until your inner organs fail. Yes, you read that correctly—death is the unfortunate fate for the male antechinus, a pint-sized marsupial that literally fornicates until it drops dead. Take similar comfort in the fact that humans don’t need to drink urine to start a relationship, as is the case with giraffes, nor inseminate each other via open wounds, as bed bugs do.

Today, stories of Catherine the Great’s salacious, equine love affairs dominate her legacy. But the reality of the Russian czarina’s life was far more nuanced. Ahead of the release of Hulu’s “The Great,” we explored Catherine’s 30-year reign, from her usurpation of power to her championing of Enlightenment ideals, early support of vaccination and myriad accomplishments in the cultural sphere. As Meilan Solly wrote in May, “Catherine was a woman of contradictions whose brazen exploits have long overshadowed the accomplishments that won her ‘the Great’ moniker in the first place.
For the first time in the 174-year history of the Smithsonian Institution, the organization released 2.8 million images from across all 19 museums, 9 research centers, libraries, archives and the National Zoo into the public domain. This initial release represents just two percent of the Smithsonian’s total collection, which boasts 155 million items and counting. It was part of an ongoing effort to digitize—and democratize—the Institution’s collections.
• An excerpt from Jennet Conant’s new book, The Great Secret: The Classified World War II Disaster That Launched the War on Cancer, in which she details how an investigation into a devastating Allied bombing of an Italian coastal town eventually led to an innovation in cancer treatment.
• A time-capsule story from the end of March about how and when we thought the pandemic might end. We were too optimistic about how long Americans would need to “flatten the curve,” and unmentioned in the story was how soon a vaccine would be developed.
• Another entry in our “True History of” series that looked at Tom Hanks’ World War II film from earlier this year, Greyhound
• An exploration of new research that rewrites the demise of Doggerland, a prehistoric land bridge between Britain and Europe

Author’s Note: Hello lovelies! So this chapter has two of my absolute favorite head cannons for tiny!Steve and post Winter Solider Bucky. I’ll just let ya’ll wonder what they are... Anyhoo, enjoy more of our boys settling in to their lives together! XOXO - Ash
Chapter Four
“Buck…” Steve called from the bedroom, “I think we have a problem.”
Bucky dropped the mug he was washing in the sink and raced to the bedroom afraid of what health issue Steve could be having. He had just taken his blood pressure meds after breakfast and he wasn’t due to use his inhaler again until the afternoon. He tried to remember if Steve had taken his arthritis medication yet. “What’s wrong?” He asked frantically from the doorway.
“Oh, no.” Steve said quickly realizing he’d scared Bucky, “No, I’m fine. Shit, sorry. I was being dramatic. I… um… I just can’t get my pants to button.” Steve blushed hard at the admission.
“Jesus God.” Bucky breathed a sigh of relief. “You scared me to death. I thought something was really wrong”
“Well, if I can’t get my pants on right we can’t go to Sam’s for dinner so that is technically a problem.” Steve shrugged and motioned at the waist of his khakis where the two tabs of fabric were nowhere close to joining.
Bucky laughed and ran a hand through his hair, “It’s a damn medical marvel is what it is. I think this is the first time I’ve seen you outgrow a pair of pants since you were eleven.”
“Ha, ha.” Steve’s voice was dripping with sarcasm, “You’re the one that let me get fat.”
“What?!” Bucky sputtered in protest, “This is not on me, Rogers. This is just what happens when you finally have access to good medical care and decent food.”
“Says the one who’s always going on about ‘let’s try the new Indian place that opened’ and ‘oh my god you have to get one of these cheeseburgers, Steve’. You still go running and spar with Sam while I’m just here sitting on my ass. Maybe I need to start running again. But not around Sam, I don’t think I could handle his gloating.”
Bucky cracked up but quickly stopped at the glowering look Steve gave him. “I’m sorry.” He said, barely containing himself, “But which do you think will flare up first when you start running: your asthma, your arthritis, or your arrhythmia?” And with that Bucky dissolved back into laughter as Steve ran over and tried to tackle him. Bucky scooped up Steve easily and tossed him onto the mountain of blankets on their bed.
Small or not, Steve still remembered his training and he locked a knee around Bucky’s, destabilizing him enough to bring him down next to Steve where he was able to swing a leg over Bucky’s hips and sit on top of him. Having no qualms with playing dirty, Steve started tickling Bucky mercilessly, knowing every single spot on Bucky’s body to have him screaming and laughing beneath him.
Bucky let Steve get a few good tickles in before he flipped them easily using his weight to his advantage. He pinned Steve’s wrists above his head using his metal hand and felt an unmistakable hardness growing against his thigh. Ignoring it for the time being, Bucky used his other hand to pull up the hem of Steve’s blue polo, exposing his soft tummy. “Let’s see this fat.” He teased pressing kisses across Steve’s mostly flat stomach. “Jeez, Rogers, I think you might actually be over a hundred pounds now without even needing rocks in your pockets.”
“Oh shut up, ya jerk.” Steve grumbled, leaning his face to the side, slightly embarrassed as Bucky continued to kiss and nip at his softer middle.
“This is not fat, this is healthy. This is you not looking like you’re on death’s door every time you get a cold. And it’s kinda nice having something soft to hold on to.”
“You’ll have a whole ball of fluff to hold if I keep up like this.”
“And I’ll love my little Stevie fluff ball all the same.” Bucky teased as he slid up Steve’s body to silence him with a kiss. “Seriously though,” he said pulling back, “You look healthy for once. But it’s your body and if it bothers you we can talk to Helen at your next appointment. Maybe start cooking more and ordering take out less.”
Steve looked down at himself thoughtfully. He knew he was being dramatic but it had been a little unsettling when he realized his pants no longer fit. He’d bought them a little under two months ago and they’d been perfect at the time. His stomach which had been concaved was flat and soft with just the smallest pooch at his waistband where the fabric of his boxer briefs pinched slightly. Steve mused it was better than the winter of 1937 when the doctor had told them he was so underweight that his body had started eating itself to keep him alive after months of battling influenza. He was so thin that year that Bucky had spent his whole savings account to turn on the heat and keep Steve’s fingertips from turning blue. “It’s not so bad.” Steve said finally, “But we’re going to start cooking more often. I don’t have a super soldier metabolism to fall back on anymore.”
“Whatever you want to do. Now, let’s get you into some sweatpants and we can stop on the way to Sam’s and replace your khakis.”
Thanksgiving dinner at Sam’s house was a sight to behold. Steve had met some of Sam’s siblings and his parents before but seeing the entire Wilson family gathered in Sam’s small townhouse in DC was a little overwhelming. There were a dozen kids running round in ages ranging from teenagers to toddlers and it felt like someone was hugging Steve at all times. Sam’s mother doted on him endlessly making sure he was comfortable and had something to eat. Sam’s aunties took turns pumping him for information on how he and Bucky were doing and regaling him with stories from Sam’s childhood, happy to provide a lifetime supply of blackmail material. It was easy to get lost in the sea of people and Steve loved every minute of it. Growing up holidays had been just him and his ma or he joined Bucky’s family if she was working. Watching Sam’s seemingly enormous family celebrate together made Steve thankful he was a part of it.
xxXxx
The winter wore on and Steve and Bucky chose to celebrate Christmas quietly together despite invitations from Sam, Pepper, Bruce, and one of Bucky’s friends from the VA hospital. They spent the day in soft, flannel pajamas and exchanged gifts sitting next to the fake tree Bucky had bought last minute when they discovered Steve was allergic to pine trees. The hives had cleared up by Christmas Day but Bucky still felt terribly guilty. Steve loved the art supplies and the annual memberships to the MET and a few other museums around the city Bucky had given him, as well as the other small gifts he’d managed to stuff into Steve’s stocking. Bucky wiggled happily in place when he unwrapped the books on space Steve gave him and hugged the obnoxious fluffy rainbow print robe tightly as soon as he pulled it free from its sparkly silver bag. It was so garish that he couldn't help but love it.
A few weeks after thawing out from Cryo in Wakanda, Bucky had developed a fondness for wearing soft, fuzzy clothing around the house; the more outrageous the better. Anything that helped to remind him he was allowed to feel safe and warm and wasn’t a weapon anymore, he’d said, and it broke Steve’s heart a little to hear it. Steve ensured from that point on that no holiday was complete without adding something new to Bucky’s collection.
As the day wore on they watched “It’s a Wonderful Life” and “A Charlie Brown Christmas”; drinking eggnog and eating snickerdoodles, both from recipes Sam’s mom had given them. It was a quiet, perfect Christmas. Exactly what they both needed after too many years of fighting and struggling.
“I love you, Bucky Barnes.” Steve mumbled against Bucky’s chest as they curled up under their mountain of blankets late that night. He was warm, sleepy, and more than a little buzzed from the eggnog. It was the best Christmas he could remember having since his ma died and he fell asleep feeling truly thankful for the series of events that lead to him having a new lease on life.

she was raised by her mother and her grandmother in a small house in a the small town of Santa Cruz de Minas, as a kid she was always seemed level-headed and always strong-minded, she wouldn’t let anyone talk her down or bully her physically or mentally (but really she just put on a brave face, she was just as affected as the next person)
she constantly asked about her father but received no answers from her mother and her grandmother, this only fuelled her curiosity and she made a vow to her younger self that she would find her father and find some answers
YOUTH
camila never really excelled in academics, she was more street-smart than book-smart, her teachers always said that she had a lot of potential in the academic sector but she always concentrated on sport and art, she was more in touch and in harmony with her emotions and that was obvious in her art
she wanted to be an artist for the longest time, at night she would sneak out with some friends and graffiti some of the town walls with a profound message or a sentimental illustration
she was also really good at running, long-distance particularly, she won a lot of marathons, received lots of trophies and medals and it was something that came to her naturally but she kept working at it so she got better, her teachers even suggested it as a career but camila was set on becoming an artist
socially she was adored by her peers to some extent because she was a bit of a rebel, she always spoke out in class and interrupted lessons with a sarcastic yet rudimentary and only slightly offensive comment
ADULTHOOD
as soon as she turned eighteen she moved to new york, partly because she wanted to kickstart her career as an artist and she thought there would be more opportunities there but also because she really wanted to find her father and get to the bottom of her history
she finally found her father by the time she was 20, rocked up to his house, the door was opened by his wife, her father got super angry and completely brushed her off and also since her father is this crazy person who’s so obsessed with keeping up appearances and maintaining his reputation (for his business etc.) he sent out someone to ‘deal’ with camila and her family
she learnt the news of her mother’s death a week after the visit to her father’s home, she was told she died from influenza and a week after that, she got news that her grandmother had died from a heart attack
she moved back to Brazil for the funeral but then discovered that her mother and grandmother were actually poisoned, camila’s always been quite vengeful and her emotion always tends to get the better of her
so she trained really hard and got all the intel on her father, waiting and training till the right opportunity, before she could do anything though, an agent on another mission took notice of her and she was recruited
which brings us to the present day !! mila is 23 years old and she’s been a junior agent for three years and is working her butt off to be a field agent asap
PERSONALITY
she’s very ambitious, she really wants to be a field agent and is always complaining about how she’s ready etc. etc. and always trains super hard so she has like no social life, she’s always in the training room and she’s always focused on her missions which tends to cause in some relationships (both platonic and romantic) to be sacrificed
she’s loyal right down to her core, once she’s established that you are her best friend then she’ll right about give her own life for you BUT it takes a long time for her to reach the best friend stage with someone, she doesn’t open up easily and she often just has a facade of sarcasm and quick-witted comebacks but it doesn’t actually tell you anything about who she really is
she would probably be known to be seem super cold-hearted and distant from everyone but once you get to know her, she’s really thoughtful and a real nerd but she is quite guarded and doesn’t trust anyone easily
she tends to spend her free time training (duuhhhh!) but besides that she loves her movies so she’s probably out in the cinema (by herself) or in her house with a thousand blankets and netflix on the tv
sometimes, she takes the mission personally and it affects her performance, there’s always some bits of the mission that will remind her of her history and its just something that she won’t be able to forget so sometimes she gets too heated during missions and thats when she fails
RANDOM HEADCANONS
constantly have bandaged hands
always have bruised knees
can’t do anything with computers or technology
water bottle is always in her hands
speaks Portuguese when she’s angry
lowkey has nightmares but quite rare
she can speak : Portuguese, Spanish and English
WANTED CONNECTIONS
*note* all of these are just really brief, kinda default ideas, we definitely can hash out something much more specific !!
junior agent buddy  / best friend: both started at the firebird agency at the same time and built a friendship through their trainings and missions and tasks etc.
senior agent mentor : someone that has taken her under their wing *note* she probably would have been very stubborn at the start and tried to do everything her way , this is also the agent who she would have to accompany during any missions
training partner : they have lots of friendly banter and get it out through faux-fighting each other in the training room
little sibling : someone who she sees as her little sibling and absolutely adores them
confidant : her rock, someone who she tells all her insecurities too and its one of those friendships where they just call each other up or meet at a 24/7 diner when they can’t sleep and its like they just pour their hearts out but then they pretend that nothing happened the next day
frenemies : someone she has lots of FRIENDLY banter with and is very competitive with this person
roommate : someone that she had to share a house with and they could hate each other and are only civil towards each other
hook up buddies : someone that she probably spends the night at his place to relieve some stress but they don’t know each other, its strictly friends with benefits but this could definitely develop into something more
drinking buddy : someone who convinces her to go out and try to have a social life through parties and stuff
study buddy : someone who helps her with more of the smart stuff, like intel and stuff cuz she’s kinda dumb
