There’s very little that a grub can make out at this early a stage in their life outside of what was close and how they felt. One little grub recalls that he had climbed onto something sturdy and firm and thought it a good place to cling and maybe have a small nap.  That is until the seemingly nice spot begins to move and do so way too quickly for him to hop off. Whining loudly, the little grub digs his little clawed legs into the surface and just waits. There’s no getting off until whatever this is stops running.

[~=💀] It didn’t take very long for him to arrive over at Hound’s warehouse at a rather record breaking speed, but it was pretty obvious that he had ended up getting attention from the H.O.U.N.D bots that were usually there to protect the one who had invited him out there... seems they found their usual play mate had come back to play.

“I got here earlier than I should have... let’s play.” He offered a grin and picked up speed, allowing the bots to follow after him as they were heading towards the spot where he had to meet up with the blond.

Mike had insisted that he try Blonde Thunder out for a test drive someday-- he encouraged the blonde, saying that his skills had gotten much better, and all that he needed to do was add in some speed to his driving.

Ha! Speed! As if Chuck can drive fast without scaring himself witless...

Really, out of all the things Chuck had hoped to do today, getting lost in an alternate version of Motorcity was the least of that list. He couldn’t contact his Burners, and now Blonde Thunder was crashed, stuck in a ditch, and stranded in a strange, unfamiliar place...

“Ohhhhh, whyyyyy--?! Why me--?!”

Important, huh? It must be if the other was adding that last word in just by itself. Acting as quickly as he could, he typed into the screen in order to reply to the other.

Well, I think there's a few things. First of all, if I can't read iteasily, I'm not going to bother. Teensy fonts, busy background photos with noplain background for the text or text colours that are too similar to thebackground or that don’t work well together. If I can’t read it even whenhighlighting it (which I shouldn’t have to do) then it becomes a chore. Iencountered one blog that had different colours for the background and text,but it was so bright and florescent it gave off this very bizarre 3D effectthat made me go cross-eyed and kept rubbing my eyes.

Foremost is how the bio is given, if there is any at all. It's mostlyOCs I've encountered doing this but Canons aren't exempt. If there’s verylittle information to go off of or no information at all, it really doesn’tshow to me a person has put any thought or effort into their blog – and byextension won’t put much effort into our interactions. Those who play canonsthat do this is really frustrating. Just because your character is fromsomething and you know what that something is does not mean an outsider will.If I have to go onto google and actively hunt for what show/game/obscure comic yourcharacter is from, you’re doing it wrong. Having a canon character with aprevalence of blog-specific info in preference over basic info from the thingthat character is from is also confusing.

On a more selfish(?) note when I look at the rules, I look for a fewthings in particular. Having mostly OCs, I look for whether or not they arewilling to accept OCs, and whether they’re multi-ship/verse/AU accessible. Thisis mostly because I want to have the freedom to let my character’s interactionswith another develop naturally whether it be romantic, platonic, antagonistic,whatever. I am a little put off by baggage from other threads I’ve had no partin. It’s just a personal preference because I prefer not to read other people’sthreads most of the time. It’s a private affair between these people and it’snone of my business (though if anyone does like reading threads I’m okay withthat, I just personally don’t usually partake myself. The only exception is ifthere’s a lot of OOC talk about an event, then I look to see what everyone’sgoing on about and such).

The lack of respect for a writer’s competence and all-around hierarchicalelitism and hypocrisy that really can turn me off playing with someone. Iunderstand wariness due to bad situations. I’ve been in really terribleroleplaying situations. I don’t mind proving myself competent. I do mind whenmy competence is overlooked because of superficial biases and preconceptions orwhen I myself am demonized due to someone else’s bad behaviour. Personally, Idon’t paint other roleplayers with a broad brush and evaluate each person/characterindividually, so those who don’t afford the same respect to me are those I tendto shy away from.

As many people likely have, I’ve encountered traumatized characters.These are very sensitive to me because it’s so easy to do it wrong. Being toometa with the reasons for why a character is this way such as inserting toomuch of oneself into the story making your own muse have romantic/relationship/friendship/interactionpreference for the mun (yes I’ve actually encountered this and it was ridiculous).It’s also quite off-putting to have someone write a canon character asgay/trans/whatever and focus solely on the angst on that without any focus onmore positive aspects; or really anything else at all. To me that isdisrespectful to the character and to the LGBT community as they are more thantheir queerness and the character should reflect that.

An extension of this would likely be having a preference for roleplayingpersonal situations from the mun’s life if those situation are traumatic/filledwith abuse. I don’t mind if it is done because they think it would make for aninteresting thread as well as coping method in some way, but if they’re doingit to relive scenes with white knight fantasies I find it very uncomfortable.Especially if we’re strangers as it has a very 'I'm using you' feel, and I don't like to be made a tool or instrument of for the other player.

Draco walked swiftly into the library where a young girl was waiting anxiously for his arrival. With a scowl for a greeting, he roughly pulled the chair out from under the table and sat in it with all the energy of a teenager having a temper tantrum.

It was absolutely humiliating. McGonagall suggested he get tutoring for Transfiguration. There was nothing wrong with his work in his opinion. The old crone was being too strict on him. Likely because it took him away from time he could be spending on the field practising Quidditch. She was trying to assert her authority as a teacher to try and screw Slytherin over, in his opinion. Perhaps he could complain and get her fired. It would serve her right.

"Let's get this over with." Draco grumbled, glancing at the girl, looking at her properly for the first time. His eyes glanced up and down her figure. Mildly pretty. At least she wasn't that stupid mudblood, Granger. It would be a million years before he'd willingly learn from that thing.

((I've played Draco once or twice in the past. This is basically the scenario for the last rp I was in where I agreed to play him.))
