Obscure tamagotchi 009: Owaraitchi

These two Tamagotchis are known as Owaraitchi, a pair of Tamagotchis who appear in the “Deai Hakken!! Arukotch” toy. They are part of the Gotchi Boys and are non-playable characters that Arukotchi can date. The two individuals are named "Pū" (プゥ) and "Pī" (ピィ.)

Owaritchi’s lore in “Deai Hakken!! Arukotch” is that they are an up and coming comedy duo that performs Manzai-style comedy. Pii plays the "straight man" while Puu plays the "funny man.”

Their name comes from the Japanese word for comedy "Owarai" (お笑い.)

It's bothering me that I can't find the original old japanese tamagotchi website pages & graphics I downloaded... years ago

It looks like the old site "museum" link is gone (when did that happen?)

Wayback machine doesn't have all the graphics :c

Decided that I wanted to print a gen by gen website artwork guide for the originals (pre connection)

Got gen 1 & 2, angel, forest, ocean, osu/mesu, devil, yasashi, santa, arukotch is missing some. Mothra and Tamaotch I don't think had artwork, only a sprite growthchart

So now I need to hunt through the wayback machine and see what I can recover...

Boardtchi! Also, the batteries in my Arukotch look like they may be going after one year. ^_^; Boardtchi and Visualtchi are the only two Gotchi Boys who haven't proposed. This is the first time I've seen Boardtchi in months, but Visualtchi gave Arukotch a ring this afternoon, so I'm hoping for a proposal tonight.

One last post tonight. Very excited because I got a proposal on Arukotch! Haven't had one since November! Only two Gotchi Boys left, Visualtchi and Boardtchi. The exclusive boys. Also, their wedding photo (the 6th one). I died a little. I'm a little shocked the battery has lasted so long! I've been using this almost every day since July. The last picture shows it's counted 1.4 million steps. ^_^;
