Mhmmm, in the movie the female character said “I was very young when I lost my mother...I lost my father one year ago as well." Then camera turned to them. She spoke to him so seriously and her voice was full of emotions. It's like she couldn't find any words strong enough to describe how glad she is to have him.

It reminded me of this scene again. Sigh.

He makes her life easier and happier. She knows it and it's him who she exactly needs in this life. I know family is also important but let me say this without meaning malice. Ömer is kinda someone who tires people out. Pessimistic, angry, always complaining and makes you stressful with his panic and agressive nature. I am not saying Ömer is bad, he has serious problems and I love their twins bond. I always enjoy watching their scenes but truth is truth. Asiye needs someone who spirits her up, makes her forget sorrowful moments and feel her like she is never alone, also reminds her that she is a teenager too.

The movie they were watching made it clear. I am for once surprised by this subtlety of the show. Lol. It's a nice change.

And also let me say OMG. Because he said "I am glad you chose me. Thanks to you I am the happiest man of the world." The writers never forget and let us forget what kind of man he was and how he tried to be worthy of her love. He still remembers it too. This is just so heartwarming and makes me emotional. He is peaceful too when he is with her. Like this is not one-sided. She is also what he needs. He is proud of the man he became. His feelings for her makes his life more joyful and meaningful. So simply put but all these words weigh a lot.

Also knowing even the little things about your lover is not superficial. They have been always like this.

Remember this flashback...She even knows how he walks when he gets angry, Süsen can't even imagine the level of adoration these two has for each other.

If you love someone, you know what makes them happy, what posture they have when they get angry, what their tendency to do is when they are stressful... Because everything about them seems interesting to you and you kinda memorize every little detail without noticing, this becomes kinda second nature to you. Sometimes you don't even need to ask, you just learn it within the process.

For example you know if they are a morning person or not, they like cold weather or not, they prefer tea with sugar or not...

I found this so funny. Doruk was not in the lab and the writers satisfied our curiosity about his whereabouts because it's so unrealistic and unusual that he wan't glued to Asiye at that moment. Like, this was the only occasion he could sit with her. Lololol.

I thought she wore a bunny costume then I remembered this is an Atv drama and a few second later they made it clear that it was an elephant. Weird.

I mean, was it really not a costume party? I thought he was cosplaying James Dean.

He lit up like a Christmas tree when he saw her.

Okay, if Nebahat had warned her out of concern (like there is blood between them.) I would have understood it. But she is like you two will end up breaking up because you guys live in different worlds. Meh. But the intersting thing is that she tried to explain how she and Doruk have a good relationship, how their dreams are compatible. Also the fact that her voice became unstable and shaky killed me, sometimes she can't understand how people can be this cruel... Even after all she has seen... I think she got upset immediately because Doruk is her soft point, even though he makes her stronger in other aspects, he also gave her a new weakness. He is the weakness.

I am gonna end this post with this view. The fact that he used stuffed animals to prevent the screen from tumbling down... This cute boy.

I think they cut some scenes again. There was supposed to be a scene in PE class but we did not see that one. Also I think a scene was filmed with Ayla and Berk but we did not see that one too. I wonder if the deleted scenes have no effect on the plot. I don’t get ! The writer and director don’t know how long the ep script should be for them not to cut any scenes ? This is ridiculous. The teaser was focused on one scene bc that’s all they filmed. I wonder if we’re going to see Ayla and Berk’s scene in the next episode at least. Is Aybike going to be expelled in the next episode or was she supposed to be expelled today 🤔

The episode started with Doruk and Omer. Doruk was so mad at Omer after what he saw. Doruk heard the loan shark threaten to hurt Omer’s family so he got worried. Omer told him not to tell Asiye about his “job”. 

The next day, Akif and Nebehat went to court. Akif called Harika. He sent her pictures of two rings and told her that he was going to propose to her mom later in the evening. Harika’s response was :"omg I am gonna be Harika Atakul" Typical Harika 😂. Nebehat heard him and was so pissed. She told the judge that she still loves her husband so the judge didn't approve their divorce. She did it so he can't propose to Suzan.

Soooo the new character was introduced today. Her name is Gunul and she owns a restaurant. She went to buy bread from the bakery where Orhan works and Orhan helped her carry the bags to her restaurant. It seemed like she was crushing shard on Orhan. I don't get it ? doesn’t Orhan wear a ring? or does she not care 😬?

Back at the school, Professor Feliz brought a mirror to the class. The exercise she gave to the class was: Look in the mirror and tell us what you see. Kaan went first then Dora. Dora said that she saw a girl who was feeling alone. Emir replied that he sees someone stupid so Omer said that he sees someone strong and Dora smiled. Susen didn’t like this. Ngl, I think I like Dora x Omer more than Susom.

The guy who works the electronics shop told Sengul that Omer was working for the loan shark. Sengul asked Omer if it was true and Omer denied it. So Sengul said that she was going to tell his uncle and Omer told her that it was true but he was going to stop working for him because he doesn't like the way they work. BUT She told him not leave his job. She said no one loves their job but they have no choice but to work.

Resul told Akif that he heard about what happened. He said that he talked with Berk yesterday and that's how he knew that Akif's house was robbed. Not sure if he is lying about talking with Berk. The guy who broke into Akif's house gave Resul a USB with all the files he found on the laptops he stole. He saw the video where Akif pushes Asiye's dad off a building. He called Nebehat and told her about the video. He also had the video on his phone. Resul insisted on going to the police and Nebehat panicked and hit him on the head. She then called Akif and told him everything. Akif came to Resul’s house and Nebehat was waiting for him outside. When they went into the house, Resul was not there. GOD DAMMIT !!! I really thought he ran away BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT YOU’RE SUPPOSED TO DO WHEN SOMEONE IS TRYING TO KILL YOU. In the teaser, he fell and hit his head. Akif said that he was dead. They actually don’t need to do anything to cover this up I think??? He fell on his own but it was because he couldn’t walk properly after Nebehat hit him. I wonder if Akif is going to leave Resul at his house or if he will burry him somewhere else. The actor is leaving so I guess Berk and Ayla will probably find out about his death in the next episode? The actor is not going to return after a couple of episodes to act as corpse probably? They have to wrap this up in the next episode. They filmed a scene today with Suzan in Resul’s house, so I wonder if they’re going to frame her for his murder. UGH I am so mad !! I can’t believe we only have 2 scenes with Berk and Resul !! It seems that Resul talks with Berk on the phone sometimes? They better destroy his phone ! Don’t you dare make Berk find it 😩

One of the loan shark men visited the Eren's house and Omer panicked. The guy told him that he can't stop working for the loan shark. Doruk gave Omer the money so he can pay his debt. Doruk called the police and reported the loan shark after he saw them beat a guy up. Before leaving, Omer told him to stay away from his family or he will report them to the police. 

Aybike and Berk met at a café . The café was full of couples and Aybike looked so disgusted 😂😂

Berk: "What's going on sweetheart? We barely meet outside of school but you looked annoyed since we got here ” 

Aybike: “I mean.....yes a little bit”

Berk: "Why?" Aybike: "Don't you think our relationship got  a bit boring ? Didn't we become normal, Berk?"

Berk: "What do you mean?"

Aybike:"Look over there....and over there and look at them.“

Aybike:”We really became like all of them. We came here as a couple for a romantic date. There is a cake and tee. Are we really that kind of couple???"

Berk: "Yes, this is not us, you're right! I think we should add a little bit of excitement to our relationship"

Aybike:"Yes, we should add something....something weird, something exciting. Excitement is good as you said !! something different and a bit wild. We're very normal like this. We can't do this"

Berk:" You're right. We can't do this. Let me think how we can add something wild and different to our relationship"

Aybike:"I am thinking about what we can do....I don't know.....What if we suddenly start fighting and screaming....No that's not good..or let's wrestle then we'll walk out of here hand in hand...I don't know, what should we do?"

WHAT 😂????????? I want whatever Aybike is smoking 😂

Berk: "Found it, I mean you found it"

Aybike: "What? tell me!! What are we going to do??"

Berk: "Thanks to you, I have a great idea. You're going to like it and you might even fall in love with me again"

Then they went to the gym.

Aybike: "This is the place that will bring our relationship back to the way it used to be. You can't believe how happy you made me, Berk"

Berk: "Seeing you happy, makes me very happy, My Aybike"

Aybike: "Okay, let's start then"

Berk: "Let's start"

It looked like Aybike knew how to box ?? either that or it's in her blood.

Aybike kicked Berk.

Berk: "You're really something, sweetheart"

Aybike:"What did you think is going to happen?? come on !!"

Berk didn't try to punch her and this annoyed her.

Aybike: "Come on !! punch me ! we can't go on like this"

Berk: "Okay, that's a great idea, but it felt weird when you suddenly said "punch me" "

Aybike: "Don't be ridiculous ! I won't let you punch me ! I am Oglucan Eren's sister, I've spent my whole life fighting with him ! Come on !"

He still didn't want to punch her so she told him to do it

Aybike:"Come on Berk ! Punch me! Do you not love me?? "

Berk: "I love you so much, my Aybike "

Then he tried to punch her but she dodge it and punched him instead. I don't know why, but I feel like I am one of those sport commentators right now 😂

Aybike: "You probably thought it's going to be easy"

Berk: "Very good"

Then he kissed her after he dodged one of her punches ❤️️❤️️❤️️

She kept on punching him after he fell on the ground 😂 so he pulled her down ❤️️

Berk: "Come over here"

Aybike: "This is our relationship"

Aybike: "I love you so much"

Berk: "I love you too my Aybike" and then he kissed her forehead 🥰️

AHHHHH THIS SCENE WAS 🔥🔥🔥 THE SEXUAL TENSION 🔥🔥🔥 a kiss scene would've been so perfect to end this part 😭😭 

Back to the Erens, the loan shark came to the Eren's house: "Who do you think you are to report me to the police Omer!!!". He pointed his gun to Omer and was about to shoot him but Asiye protected him and she was shot in the leg. They made it look like she was shot in the stomach in the teaser. I don’t think her injury is deadly.

So in conclusion, I am so pissed that Resul is dead, I did not enjoy watching 2h of Akif scenes and thank god for the Ayber scenes because they saved the episode  ❤️️❤️️

Recep posted a picture with Melis on Saturday before the episode started and a lot of people pointed out that Melis was wearing Aybike’s old school’s uniform which means that Aybike was expelled from Attaman school and Berk probably went to visit her at her old school. There was supposed to be another fight scene at the gym in this episode but it didn’t air and Aybike is supposed to be expelled because of that fight. Hopefully it will air next week.....

I finished the first season of Kardeslerim

And everyone is all about Asiye x Doruk and they are sweet but I can take them or leave them, and I am all about Aybike x Berk because !!!

He tells her they make a great couple and she maces him!

His reaction: (He’s saying “you are a real psychopath, I adore you!”)

Here he is saying he missed her to her very unimpressed face:

“Smile so your dimples will appear”

Berk: I love you. Asiye: And I hate you.

His reaction is “this is just the type of relationship I seek!

His reaction to calling him ugly or similar:

He’s a psycho who’s happily been bullying her cousins but he loses it when she finds out his BFF in psychoness Tolga got her involved and she almost got assaulted.

And then he tells Tolga she’s off-limits to which Tolga reasonably points out he (Berk) landed her dad in the hospital so WTF! And Berk is all “I am not in love with her, I just like how smart she is and that even tho she’s super poor she takes no shit from anyone.” Dude, you got it bad! (Berk saying “I don’t want anyone to hurt her” and Tolga retorting “because you are the only one allowed to hurt her?!“ is gold.)

He writes a whole play that gets put on by the school where they are the villain couple who get a happy ending!!!!

And gets baseball-batted to the head when he finds out Tolga plans to substitute a real gun for a prop one to have her cousin kill Doruk.

Here he is expressing condolences like an actual human being when her father is wounded by crazy Tolga. And worried that she blames him and is all “You know I love you.” AWWWWW

The bad guy is all “why on earth are you with them OMG” and then tells Aybike’s brother “you know he’s into your sister.” Heeee. Yes, he knows. A blind and deaf person can tell.

Are they even bros if they don’t manhandle a bad guy together? The thought of Doruk, Omer, Berk and Ogulcan working together on anything breaks my brain :P But I guess they are all gonna be in laws hahahah.

I honestly wanted to see Nebahat&Asiye scenes, because they are two women Doruk cares about the most (I mean the show already acts like Melisa doesn't exist, so...) In a realistic perspective, I think it makes sense Nebahat still doesn't think highly of Asiye. This character has the most shallow personality ever in the show. Selfish, having no moral ground or self-esteem. That's why I understand the way she pointed Yasmin and Doruk to Asiye in order to make a point. This is so her.

But calling Doruk over for him to see Asiye cleaning...this is repetitive and kinda insulting our intelligence. Because she has known her son cleaned with her, worked for her and experienced a penniless life. So that took the pleasure of making any comment on this. Yeah, maybe it was necessesary for Asiye to go against Nebahat and show her that she and Doruk are happy together, I get it...however I really expected to see a different approach. They really didn't go hard about this.

Asiye: If we didn't meet, would you like Yasmin? Doruk: What nonsensical question is this?

There was one thing I could find interesting. So when Asiye saw Doruk and Yasmin together -she normally didn't find it weird before but Nebahat forced her to think of it- she asked him this question.

That's so human but stupidish. Because the question was really pointless and no sane -and in love- man would answer it. (in Kiralık Aşk, Ömer kinda answered it honestly and Defne went insane, if I don't remember wrong. Lol. This is not about honesty, this question doesn't make sense at all)

But after the last night's incident it's only normal for her to feel insecure. She is a realistic girl through and through. But her boyfriend is one determined and romantic boy, as if he could ever understand an alternate universe or realistic perspective. This boy is deeply and dramatically in love, a Prince Charming. He could jump straight out of this fairy tale book and fight against monsters or dragons at any moment. He is that perfect.

The interesting part is... It's like...if one day they end up parting ways, she might think he can move on. Because he can find someone compatible but she can't find someone thoughtful, kind and supportive like him.

You see, they are not typical high school lovers... He means a lot to her. He talked dramatically when they broke up, but Asiye knows he is such a drama queen so I don't think she is really aware of that he can't move on.

Asiye: Don't tell your mother about this. Doruk: I don't promise anything. Asiye: Doruk! Doruk: Sssshhh.

The communication. Lol. He doesn't lie to her, no, no, little lady, this is about his mom, how she crossed the boundaries, how she acted like a nosy-parker. I mean she started this, the fact that Asiye told everything to Doruk of course was necessesary for the boy to know who the monster is.

But Nebahat played low. Even Asiye couldn't stay silent about this in the end. Her first act was logical (Yasmin & Doruk) but her second act (cleaning conspiracy) doomed to fail.

Sorry but I love watching anxious, worried, caring Doruk. I loved this scene more than their making up scene.

Doruk: Asiye, I will not allow- Asiye: Doruk, please, let's not talk about this now.

Doruk: If she let me, I would do much more for her, but she doesn't.

Okay, but seriously this guy knows all the gaps in her boundaries and has become such an expert about handling her stubborness. He found the same old coat of hers because probably he thought since it didn't cost too much and has a sentimental value he wouldn't hurt her feelings and she would be more willing to accept it.

Sometimes not even her own family members can show this thoughtfulness. I am just amazed.

Considering how his personality is, it would make sense to see a marriage proposal from him in their university years. Other than emotional reasons for the marriage, there are also practical ones. His constant worry for her never ends and he usually finds out later what she needs or how bad her condition is, because she doesn't prefer speaking of financial issues. There is only one option that she could accept his help and share her money situation with him which is him being officially a family member of her. I know lately she doesn't reject his help immediately, but still there is a line he can't cross. So being a family member would help a lot. Sharing burdens and money, challenging life together...

However...if we have 4th season next year, I don't think we will get something like an early marriage. In writing and dramatic perspective them staying lovers would make more sense. Because she needs to live under unfortunate conditions, he needs to be an Atakul until the secrets are revealed. She can't marry into his family and set foot in his world easily, he needs to leave his family behind later...so.

Also I don't know if it profits anything, I mean, I don't think a marriage life would be fun to watch for these two. They act like married anyway, but watching them finding their ways in their college years would be more appealing to me. A marriage life in early years would bring so many hardships and suffocate us. But honestly these writers only know how to write family life and drama. Since they are not very good at writing the lives of young people, I don’t think they can give us a proper college life story.

I dropped the show a long time ago but stumbled across this photo the other day and I can't help but find it amusing.

Back then in the late 90s-early 2000s there was a teen magazine published in Turkiye about college life, experiences, education etc. And I think this photo might be the perfect fit for the cover page. 

Just to give you an idea:

Or you know, those huge bilboard advertisements about health or insurance I don't know. *lol* This really have a poster value.

They had always this potential but with these lazy writers, you can never have that. The highschooler, youngster part of this show was one of the things that made them different from the other melodramas. The young actors have amazing chemistry for the messy group dynamics. (we had frenemies, enemies-to-lovers, a duet bonding, a family of choice) But they ruined this part and replaced it with an exaggerated and outdated sibling rivalry. Even the school set design seemed so casual. Before, the school was a lively place and used as a story tool. And now they are planning to write season 4 in which the characters will go to the university but this probably only means for the writers that they can write early marriages and stuff. Like, the only thing they can think about. Or you know, never ending money problems, 32846th work experience that goes wrong for the characters...They don’t even bother to write lines worth pondering for a while. The show turned into a big meaningless joke about three adult men and their weird love lines and deceptions...

I remember how the plot revolved around some characters, their relationships and the secrets that threaten their lives. I loved even with their sloppy writing style how they gave us some dialogues between Asiye and Doruk that mean something. Like the famous school bench scene where Doruk tried to comfort Asiye about Ömer’s birth secret. Or when they fought passionately like in the 22nd episode, they argued with the actual words that had an impact on the other. They were constantly evolving into their better selves but also still making mistakes. 

The writers aren’t very talented but I also think creativity has a limit when it comes to writing a 120 minutes length episode for 70+ weeks. Nobody can pull off it. It’s sad because one way or another the story they promised to give us is long forgotten and left aside.

Doruk did absolutely a fantastic job here. He still tried to reason her also didn't hide how much hurt he was.

His words mean that she has to live not survive. Because these two are not the same thing. Sacrificing something from yourself won't bring any good, she has one life and one wrong choice may ruin her future. 

And Douk who had always acted according to her wishes made a very daring move and told everything to Ömer.  

Doruk: I didn't come after you because I thought you might have got angry at me If I had done so.

Find the difference.

I think that tells a lot, this time he meddled in her business and wasn't even scared that she would get angry at him for revealing the reason that she decided to move, because he never lets anything ruin her happiness and peace so he directly went to the source of the problem. "You should behave, you should be responsible not her" he meant basically. And saying subtly "f.ck you" directly "I am not gonna lose her because of you", he made himself very clear.

He is such a pain in the ass but they make me emotional.

Hmmm. If we had skillful writers I would say something worrisome is coming... Because even after they'd solved the problem he said what he might feel if he was without her. It sounded like a bad omen. However this was probably written to show that there's still a tradegy waiting for them in the future and they have a sword of Damocles hanging over their heads... Maybe the writers want to tell us that they still remain connected to the main plot even after 65 episodes, like in the scene "what would you do if Doruk's family did this to you?" etc... Since Akif, Suzan, Nebahat and Şengül became soap opera-ish characters and struggle with their love triangles, our couple are very much needed for the main plot.

She was restless when they said goodbye to each other. (Time to confess, I have a very guilty pleasure about this, because we hardly see that Asiye feels guilty and Doruk’s hurt because of her. So when she gets sad because of hurting his feelings, you can feel her dilemma and regret, because he is usually the receptive one and good at showing his love but she still finds it hard expressing herself and hates making him feel like she doesn’t care about him as much as he cares about her.) So she came up with this cute idea. She used his method, because this is her way of telling she cares about him so much. She knows the value of everything he does and his importance in her life. Also it shows once again how far she has come, because she wants to be playful like him.

He says here he would have gone to her if she hadn't come to him. Like I can not comprehend how he has zero power to hold himself back. This guy really meant it when he said he couldn't do without her. He might have sulked before but if she hadn't done anything to close the distance between them, he wouldn't have been in peace and would have gone to her.

That's..I mean... I don't know.

I mean, this is how you show you've been dying to see your lover. He madly misses her, can't even share his moments with somebody else. Berk even thought that he could be understanding when they couldn’t hang out together since Doruk is so busy loving Asiye all the time. (*spoiler alert * this is not the reason *ugly sobbing*)

Ömer: She was counting the minutes to meet you since we woke up. Asiye: Ömer! Doruk: There is nothing to be ashamed of, I had been counting the seconds for days.

Bwahahaha, this guy, I swear. I mean, this sounds cheesy, I know, but when he does it, I don’t think so. He is like, is this why you're embarrassed, honey, this is nothing, nobody beats me about this, trust me.

He’s just so unapologetic about his love for her.

They are disgustingly cute. Get a room, please. (They will later, lol) I'd literally hate them if I were one of their friends.

Also I LOVE LOVE LOVE how Ömer teases her and tells on Doruk, it's like he is on Doruk's side here. That's so cute.

The directing choices here. So the new girl is already getting on their nerves, the camera shows everybody's reaction, but since they are a package and their reactions are so alike, the director doesn't miss this opportunity, instead of their individual close up shots, they show us them as a unity. Hahahahaha.

She likes things that have sentimental values and this is why it's so hard to choose a gift for her imo, but he never disappoints. I mean, we're talking about a spoiled kid who was overjoyed when he got a car as a gift but when it comes to her he is so thoughtful.

The stuffed penguin was the best first gift ever and now this. Not a photo, but a drawing of their dance. (Maybe he drew it since he is talented??) It's so sweet. But honey, you never learn, don't you? This can fit into any trash bin. Just please don't trigger my traumas again!

There is one thing I adore about Doruk. When she smiles his face softens immediately and watches her smile. So no wonder he thinks her smile is the biggest gift for him. The baby girl got him with her smile anyway, remember?

So our kiss scene is cut, what are we supposed to think? Since he kissed her so wholeheartedly in the fragman, probably they thought that kiss might lead to some other activities when the screen changed. I mean they were alone there and he is one passionate teenager etc etc.. So that's why they think some viewers can't handle it, right? That's how my brain works. Sorry not sorry.

The scenes that hit me harder than I thought:

All teenagers have to grow up at some point but in this show everybody grow up faster than usual because of a traumatic event.

This is too much to handle and he doesn't even know about the other secrets.

This killed me. TOO MUCH TOO MUCH!

That silently fuming thing Doruk does when people insult Asiye. He restrained himself because these were not his fights, he knew she could deal with them but still there was something so endearing about this. His emotions are always so readable, be it love or rage.
