Fedz, I am horrified by your tags. Summaries are fun and easy? I have delayed fic posting by several days because summaries are awful to write. While I have never taken longer than five minutes to find a fic title. What is your secret? Whose soul did you steal for that power?
You take FIVE MINUTES to find a fic title?! You can just pick a specific limited number of words to encompass the entirety (tone, theme, brand) of your fic within 300 seconds, the tenth of the amount of time it takes for me to wake up in the morning?! THE TITLE, which might be acronymized one day and what your readers will refer to when they talk about it in their little servers and blogs and tiktoks? Do you have any idea how much I fret over accidentally making my titles have an accidentally rude acronym? Or how sometimes my first titles are too bland, easily recreated and duplicated? You pick them in five minutes and they're iconic as is??
Summaries are fun because I literally just spit on the keyboard and the summary box is filled for me. Better than A.I. (Not that I'd ever use it). If only I could do the same for the main body of my fics.

Ngl, I do have one theory as to why Horikoshi decided to have Edgeshot “repair” Bkg’s heart and blood vessels with his own body:
The reason is to achieve a body that could withstand Quirk Singularity. One advantage Izuku has now that OFA is working for his corporeal being is that he doesn’t have to worry as much about bone-breaking anymore, and that he has multiple loopholes to avoid getting to the bone-break part again.
Horikoshi needs to “upgrade” Bkg so Bkg could withstand the rapid power ups provided for by Explosion. Which is really gonna be quite an asspull once the Box Narrator starts telling what’s happening on-screen again
Not only do I agree with you about the upgrade to survive the quirk singularity but I fully expect Bakugou to get Edgeshot's quirk.

Fedz, I just saw your tags about you reading Anyone only since the crane chapter! (Or a little after that!) It is now my duty to inform you that all of Izuku's feralness is due to AFO moving in with him. He was a nice sweet and completely normal boy before that. Everything is AFO's fault.
Sure! I'll choose to believe that! I'm sure an owl fae deity would have no cause to trick me. Besides, faes are famously unable to lie.
By kindly providing that timeline, this meant that AFO moved in before Izuku broke into Tartarus (latter info gathered from your ask responses). Poor Izuku, tragically corrupted by some waffles. Thank you for clarifying <3 <3 <3

For the ask game : an au where Izuku is all might son but he have all for one quirk and remind all might of all for one
This is just gonna be like the dadmight in my Top Dog Supervillain fic but bio.
Okay, here’s how Izuku got the All For One Quirk and why he reminds his father All Might of AFO: It all started when Yoichi and the other OFA holders got just a little bit more frustrated than usual with the AFO Vestige haunting their realm and they started cooking up ways to get rid of the pesky parasite. One day, Banjo — looking through Yagi’s eyes —accidentally intruded upon a private and intimate moment, then came back to propose his plan of kicking the extra villain luggage into Yagi’s soon-to-be spawn. Yoichi was about to reject the idea after Nana chewed Banjo out, but Second had already booted off the unwanted AFO vestige, much to the others’ horror.
As a baby, Izuku is always doing grabby hands and “up-up” motions at Yagi, more so than he does to his mother. Inko and Yagi find it cute, unaware that little Izuku is acting upon the strong urge of pulling at his father’s Quirk.
Yagi’s blood pressure had spiked to the point that it was a miracle he was still alive when Izuku took a visiting Gran Torino’s Quirk. Oh yeah, Izuku’s AFO Quirk is ranged because it did things to his genes. Anyway, chasing after a toddler flying around like a jet made for an interesting day, but Inko came to the rescue in the end.
Yagi wondered if the villain All For One had something to do with it but nothing triggered his trusted security measures. He also reasoned that All For One would’ve kidnapped Izuku. Unfortunately, the OFA Vestiges were unable to communicate with him. In any case, Yagi vowed to raise his son right. It was a learning process for him as well, as he quickly learned that forcing Izuku to return Quirks is like pulling out his own teeth + fingernails + toenails one by one.
Noticing that asking his son to suppress his Quirk is causing damage to their relationship (and worrying that this might push Izuku to the clutches of AFO), All Might took Izuku to hospitals and institutions where people who want their Quirks to live on might donate them. This satisfies most of Izuku’s urges.
Izuku doesn’t hate heroes, but he IS a comic villain fan. All Might worries that this might apply to reality as well and always brings up his expectations of Izuku becoming a Pro Hero. Then, Inko reminds All Might that the constant worrying could turn the situation into some kind of self-fulfilling “fall into villainy” prophecy and convinces All Might to simply support Izuku in finding his way.
One day, All Might woke up wide-eyed at three in the morning and announced, “All For One would be soooo damn pissed at the idea that my All-For-One-Quirked son is besting him at everything.” And then he took Izuku Quirk-shopping at Tartarus, somehow with no one else knowing.

Ask game: All Might is under the effect of a sleep quirk so Izuku hangs out with Flame Might. Please.
I dub thee Sleeping Almighty AU
Izuku’s vestige form sat beside Flame Might in his dreams. Despite its inability to talk or react much, Flame Might’s inherent warmth helped Izuku with getting through on being unable to speak with All Might on the first day.
Three days after All Might was forced asleep, Izuku missed talking with his mentor so much that he—who often believed that he was undeserving of kind touches—decided to initiate physical contact and rested his arm beside Yagi’s.
Yagi was still unable to talk in the Vestige World, and his consciousness’ access to his Vestige form was limited. But he could hear and listen to Izuku’s stories, and express his feelings through his eyes. It took like a day or two to learn how to move his vestige form’s limbs, but his first act was to pat Izuku’s head and pull him close.
When Yoichi taught Izuku how to conjure stuff in the Vestige world, like a Heropoly board game or MightUno cards, Izuku and Flame Might were a team, as sometimes AM’s Vestige connection would fluctuate.
Izuku became skilled enough at conjuring things that he managed to dream his textbooks just so he could read under Flame Might’s glow. If he brought storybooks, he would read them aloud.
There’s a point where Tsukauchi revealed that the person who put All Might to sleep wouldn’t reveal how to get him to wake up.
Izuku started to spend longer and longer sleeping, and naps often just so he could spend time with Flame Might. It didn’t help that he’s also expelling energy as a Vestige when resting. Worried, All Might scolds Izuku through JSL. When Izuku wouldn’t stop (and started worrying his class and teachers), Flame Might snuffed its light out and refused to reappear unless Izuku took care of himself again.
(Inspired by the Maleficent movie) Only when a lonely Izuku pressed his lips on the side of All Might’s forehead did Yagi finally wake up.
Thank you for the DadMight AU submission, Gentry!!!

Hi! For the DadMight AU, how about an AU where before he's able to start as a techer at UA All Might first does some course that ends with some experience as a teacher at a random school, which also happens to be a school for a certain broccoli boy.
(This could be before or after AM and Deku first met)
Yagi Toshinori chose to work as a PE teacher, as it is technically closest to the Heroics job description. He looked through newspaper ads to see if there were any schools nearby that were hiring. And what luck! Aldera High School just opened up a position.
The previous PE teacher was fired for accusing Izuku of cheating, as Izuku was performing a lot better with the exercises. Normally, Izuku would keep to himself, but the bit of confidence he’d built up in the past four months of training with All Might pushed him to act and ask his mom to file a complaint, (which only prospered because Aldera’s faculty also hated the PE teacher). Besides, it ABSOLUTELY pushed Izuku’s berserk button to see his progress under his beloved idol’s training be devalued like that.
By some miracle, Yagi and Izuku kept from freaking out when Yagi introduced himself as the new PE teacher. They freaked out after class hours. Yagi told Izuku that he’ll try not to show too much favorable attention to him in Aldera, in consideration of Izuku’s social wellbeing.
Yagi never introduced himself as someone without a Quirk, so students and teachers treated him with the average amount of respect. Students also found his exercises fun, albeit too creative with the backstories. However, his instruction could be found lacking, as he’s unsure how to instruct students to do exercises that come naturally to him. This skill would develop over time.
By the time Yagi was training Izuku, recall that Bakugou Katsuki was laying off Izuku. Still, ever observant, Yagi noticed how students would always pick Izuku last when dividing into teams. So, he flipped the script and made Izuku a team captain for once, giving Izuku the chance to pick team members himself.
Given this opportunity, Izuku picked the ones who were always picked in the last half, usually those considered ‘benchwarmers’ or weak-Quirked. While initially having trouble getting the ones he’d picked to listen to him, Izuku managed to use friendship and analysis skills to turn his team into a compact offensive and defensive force.
Thank you for the DadMight AU submission!!!

Hou Gentry's Raccoon AU? That but Izuku is the one who adopts Dabi as his pet raccoon
I actually don’t know all the specifics of that AU, but based on posts that I happen upon my dash, this is an AU where Dabi turns up alive but is always mistaken for a raccoon right?
Little Quirkless Izuku prays for a pet one night, saying “Please send me an angel, the nicest one you have,” and then hysterical chittering laughter echoed from outside, down around by the trash collection area.
The next day, Inko took Izuku to the dog and cat pound, having eavesdropped on Izuku the night before. Izuku was encouraged to look around, and he happened upon Dabi in the hallway. (Dabi was nursed back to, er, mostly health by the pound manager, having rescued the poor guy from the trash area.)
“That’s not a cat,” says Inko and the pound manager simultaneously, as Izuku led Dabi by the hand to them. “That’s a raccoon.”
Anyway, long story short, Dabi was named Stitch Might because Izuku said that his raccat (raccoon + cat — he and his mom compromised) has markings that look like stitches as well.
“This is your badness level,” Izuku tells his raccat, as Stitch Might burns the large red-yellow-blue bow that Izuku had lovingly put on his head. “It is unusually high.”

Can we talk on how All Might never showed his true form to anyone until those ten months he spent with Izuku and where he is shown little by little to be more comfortable with showing his skinny form the more time he spends with Izuku?
Beloved, it makes me tear up at the thought that Yagi never meant to show his true form in the first place. But when his time ran out, despite being so secretive about his form, he decided to explain the situation to Izuku and trusted that this random ass fanboy (whose Pro Hero dreams had just shattered) won’t tattle on him. In that scene, he showed vulnerability before Izuku. Like, yes, he was having Izuku face the harsh truth, but he was also baring his soul to him!
And Izuku, at the end of the day when he was going to reconsider his career and before AM offered OFA, was going to keep the secret in his heart! And as time passes, Izuku took the role of All Might’s secret-keeper so seriously. I’m sure he felt like he was in an exclusive club or something 😂
I think All Might appreciated that, how he was able to expand the small pool of people with whom he could just be himself around. When was the last time he’d had a personal active connection with as Toshinori that isn’t his doctor or the principal or his detective co-worker? I think bonding with Izuku had helped All Might ease in with sharing the secret to some of the U.A. faculty too.
In Midoriya Izuku, Yagi Toshinori found a living proof of concept that someone will cheer him on despite appearing weak.

(if the 5+ headcannon game is still open) how about 5+ headcannon on an au where Inko is just as much of a hero nerd as Izuku.
Henceforth shall also be a DFO AU.
Inko LOVES Lady Nagant. She has Lady Nagant clothes, Lady Nagant hair accessories, and Lady NaGuns. The Lady NaGuns are NERF Sniper guns with a laser pointer. She has a Lady Nagant shrine.
When Lady Nagant went out of the spotlight, Inko still kept her collection. She found a new fixation with Star-and-Stripes merch. Then expanded her collection to Ryuukyu, then Mirko, then the Wild Wild Pussycats, Midnight, etc…
Inko is a very proud mom when Izuku started his own merch collection. She was the one who showed him the proper care and storage of his merch.
The Midoriya household is battlefield of who has a better Hero collection and it’s driving All For One nuts.
AFO, laying down in bed: “Ah yes. Me, my wife, and her five twenty-foot plushies of her Pro Hero wives.”

For the ask game, an AU where young Dabi kidnaps baby Shouto, please.
When Shouto got kidnapped a few years after her firstborn died, this caused Rei to have a much earlier mental breakdown, having now lost two of her children. Endeavor did not force her to have another child with him, and sent her to be treated at the mental health institution.
Endeavor took the series of unfortunate events happening to his family as a bad omen. So he decided to stop his ambition of creating a child that will defeat All Might and simply focused on maybe outliving the man. He started taking good care of his other neglected children as part of his atonement.
Young Dabi had this idea of taking Shouto to Doctor Garaki and asking him to give the Half-Cold, Half-Hot Quirk to Young Dabi instead. To his surprise, Shouto was more than onboard with the idea as he hated Endeavor’s approval. In any case, the transfer was a success, and so Dabi now has Cremation and HCHH. HCHH allowed him to better regulate his Quirk.
Young Dabi hated that Shouto could not even appreciate Endeavor’s love, so he backstabbed his little brother by giving him to All For One as ‘payment’ for the help. Young Dabi went back to Endeavor’s house, acting like he didn’t know how he was alive and why Shouto’s Quirk is in him. After a thorough investigation, Endeavor acted that his son’s return might be a sign for him to restart his ambition, and thus began training Dabi. (Damn it, Endeavor.) He never stopped looking for Shouto, however.
Shouto became All For One’s newest child project, setting him up to be a villain and a future U.A. mole. He gave him two Quirks: Everlasting Ice and Temperature Regulation. However, All For One also decided to put Shouto in Aldera Middle School to become Izuku’s friend/protector after his wife Inko had called him too many times about Izuku being bullied.

Dad Might Ask Game and uh Portal AU, where Toshi and Izuku have to escape a lab with a portal gun. (or just, have fun thinking with portals lol)
The first portal they enter is a gateway to a Villain AU, where an All Smite is helping Villain Deku become the greatest villain of all time, much to Toshinori’s and Izuku’s shock. They quickly exit this universe, and enter another one.
The second portal is a Monster AU, where a Werewolf Izuku is fighting other werewolves to protect a Vampire All Might. Werewolf Izuku noticed them and mistook them as another enemy, so they are forced to flee quickly as well.
As they travel from portal to portal, Toshinori and Izuku slowly come to the realization that they’re happily supporting and protecting each other no matter what universe they’re in. From Royalty AUs to Sci-fi AUs, from fantasy AUs to Reality Show AUs, from musical AUs to Hero AUs.
The plot twist: This AU is from the POV of the portal-hopping Toshinori and Izuku—who are very much NOT on good terms with each other at best. And sworn enemies at worst. Their home dimension is the dimension that is the antithesis of everything DadMight.
Faced with the fact that they seem to be the odd-one-out in a Multiverse whose answer to the question “Do you think we have a strong supportive and close bond in other universes too?” seem to be a resounding ‘YES,’ Sworn Enemies! Toshinori and Izuku reassess their lack of familial relationship, even if the mere concept of having a civil conversation with each other makes them feel violently  ill.
Izuku: “Even if I hate you… And want nothing to do with you… Even if you’ve definitely NOT changed my life for the better, I guess you did change it for good.”
Toshinori, holding Izuku by the neck and dangling him at the edge of a cliff: “I could say the same for you, boy.”
Izuku: “...Hey old man, where did we go wrong?”

Yo yo yo! How about an au where Izuku buys Twitter please?
Good lord :( :( :( Fine. But let me tweak that a bit.
Okay, it all started when that scumbag billionaire All For One bought that blue bird company and laid off like half of the employees. Aspiring Pro Hero — but was a company intern — Izuku was one of those who were laid off. It’s fine. Izuku found new employ as All Might’s Hero intern.
All For One had this astounding idea to sell the Verified Checkmark for $8 a month. In no time at all, villains from all over began impersonating Pros left and right. Impersonating Endeavor’s account tweeted a video featuring a dancing villain who wields blue fire and drops hot accusations. Impersonating Wash’s account tweeted a rather crass version of his commercial. Impersonating Nedzu’s account tweeted about free money to be given to every mutant. Impersonating Stain’s account tagged each Pro Hero in a post along with a time frame. You get the idea.
When an Impersonating All Might’s account tweeted about how All Might is the worst hero ever, Izuku SAW RED.
He’s not bad in coding at all. The first thing that Izuku did is lightly sabotage some systems and make it so that every former employee in that area would decline to go back. Izuku would then apply for the job. Once he’s in, Izuku applied every knowledge he’d learned from former villain hires like Gentle Criminal and La Brava about how to stage manage the incompetent scumbag billionaire All For One. Izuku had a matrix spaghetti code running on one of his computers at all times, saying that it automatically blocks All For One’s detractors, etc.
Every time All For One asks for a horrid new feature, Izuku delivers by…actually making the idea good? All For One is impressed that this new hire is singlehandedly saving his company. Unbeknownst to him, Izuku is draining All For One’s bank account dry. (The scumbag billionaire really shouldn’t leave his passwords and bank account so hackable.)
Izuku initiates second phase, which is shutting the social media down. This caused people to rally to the HQ with pitchforks and torches.
Izuku throws All For One out the window and to the angry, angry mob below.
All Might doesn’t have the heart to tell Izuku that the Impersonating All Might account was actually also owned by himself and that he tweeted that as a self-deprecating joke.

I am starving for new AUs so you made a really big mistake in reblogging that game. Demon AU where Izuku makes a pact/cons someone, please!
Jokes on you I’m also starving for new AUs
This was the future that Nighteye saw: All Might wasn’t supposed to survive that first fight with Demons For One, lord of all demons. In his desperation to erode the rock-solid future, Nighteye sought for someone powerful enough to help him. The demon prince Izuku found him instead, already willing to assist.
After checking that it wasn’t a set-up, Nighteye agreed to let Izuku help. (Izuku wanted to topple his own father.) To gain enough power to change fate, Nighteye made a deal that will give All Might strength to survive and win the battle. In return, Nighteye will have to sacrifice his entire All Might collection, all past and future merch, to Izuku. Which is painful, but worth it to save All Might’s life.
It costed Izuku much of his own energy, but it works. Even though All Might had sustained a severe injury, Nighteye was only too thankful that the man’s death was averted. Worried for All Might’s health, he advised him to find a successor to transfer One For All to. Much to his shock and feelings of betrayal, All Might refused to heed his advice.
Angry that he’s sacrificed so much to keep the future bright and hopeful, yet was repaid with rejection, Nighteye sought Izuku again, his trust having been fully gained by the demon prince.
“I want All Might’s One For All quirk to be transferred to a worthy successor of my own choosing, namely Mirio Togata,” Nighteye carefully says his terms.
“Of course,” says Izuku, eyes sparking green. “Therefore, this deal entails you asking to have temporary ownership of One For All, correct? For the Quirk’s own terms of transfer to work?”
“Yes,” Nighteye agrees. “What do you want in return?”
“Don’t worry about it,” Izuku says. “The hefty price from your previous deal carries over.” He flashed a kindly smile. “After all, you have plenty of future All Might merchandise that I will come to own instead. And that future… You have sold to me in abundance.”
Oblivious to the fact that the demon prince counted One For All as part of the future All Might merch, Nighteye shook Izuku’s hand.

5 hc game: au where Izuku *is* All Might’s son?
Izuku was still born Quirkless, since All Might was originally Quirkless. Yagi was originally going to hide his family, but upon further consideration, decided that having Inko and Izuku near him would be a better guarantee for their safety. He set up a house in the same neighborhood of Pro Heroes (where Endeavor also resides), so that there’s the extra security.
Upon discovery that his own son was Quirkless, Yagi knew that Izuku would inherit his Quirk. So they registered Izuku’s “Quirk” as a stockpiling-power type in preparation. All Might began training a five-year-old Izuku on all aspects physical: acrobatics, dance, running, parkour, weights, etc. Unlike with how Endeavor trained Shouto though, All Might took extra measures to make Izuku’s training “fun” and more like playing. Gran Torino and Nighteye helped as well, especially when Izuku showed a love for Quirk Analysis. And sometimes, All Might’s friends like Star and Stripes or David Shield or any of the Top Ten would visit and teach Izuku too.
Izuku grew up surrounded by Pro Heroes. He grew up with the expectation that he was going to be a Pro Hero like his father. He went to a private elementary and middle school, and people there usually don’t get up to extreme bullying tactics. For private elementary, he had Shouto as his classmate. Shouto and Izuku ended up attending the same private middle school as Iida Tenya. Though, Shouto despised Izuku for having a better father than him, and he hated how Endeavor kept pitting him against someone who hasn’t even yet shown a morsel of power. And so, due to his father’s influence, Shouto grew up always testing his mettle against Izuku.
Izuku had no idea that Shouto didn’t like him, thinking that the sudden ice spikes and fire bursts were just the way Shouto socialized. And that Shouto was just a sparring partner his own age. Izuku became very good at dodging as well. It drove Shouto nuts whenever Izuku would put his food tray on his table during lunch, but thought that it was a power play thing so he stayed put to “defend” his table territory. Izuku discovered Shouto’s true feelings by the time he received OFA at the end of middle school, leaving him to reframe everything he knew about friendship, including his own friendship with Tenya.
All Might is preparing for Izuku to take the U.A. Recommendation Exam. Izuku passed marvelously, but somehow, Shouto ended up at Top 5 and on the chopping block. That same day, however, the HPSC came knocking on All Might’s door to recruit Izuku for their Hero Program. All Might was against it, knowing that they plan to use his son for their own ends. However, the HPSC insisted that it was Izuku’s choice and said something that tied up All Might’s hands on the matter.
Izuku, sympathizing with Shouto, accepted the offer, withdrew from U.A., and opened up a slot.
…All Might was right.

Moral Responsibility to Fanboy
“What’s the safest, long-term place you could think of?” “A bank vault?” Deku suggests. Miles levels at him an appalled stare. “What the— Deku, my new favorite person who has never done anything wrong,” he says. “Would you shove All Might in a vault for an indefinite amount of time to spare him from looming death?” Deku starts to shake his head, stops, and—alarmingly—dons a thoughtful look of consideration.
You caught me in a generous mood afghk. Here you go ^

Remember the whole arc with Nighteye when it's proven time and time again that Izuku is the perfect OFA holder?
(You know what’s funny to me? Nighteye trained a “successor” into All Might’s image and his own personal idea of a Symbol of Peace. On the other hand, All Might picked a successor who is analytical, relatively serious and rather gloomy in general aura [that is helpful in conjunction with his empathetic side], and a fanboy—all aspects of which can be found in Nighteye’s character. Basically, Yagi found someone who mirrors the best characteristics of his former sidekick, and Nighteye totally overlooked it.)
Anywho, that Nighteye arc was utterly wasted with it being a million-chapters long slugfest against the yakuza. The raid didn’t need to be that long! To add insult to injury, the entire conflict with Nighteye was rendered moot when it was revealed that Izuku’s Quirklessness made him the ONE AND ONLY who could hold OFA all along. Nighteye only really existed to bring Izuku’s self-esteem down, to the point that even when he tried to take back his words on his deathbed, a despairing Izuku still offered his beloved Quirk to Mirio.
Izuku being the perfect Holder could’ve been explored with the way he analyzes OFA in this arc. Or, IDK, maybe OFA could’ve been written to start sprouting more Quirks at this time rather than cramming most of it in ONE ROGUE DEKU ARC HORI
Okay, sorry, I got carried away. But aaaargh, we should’ve been already WAYYYYY past the point of Izuku being the perfect wielder during the Sportsfest arc. Sure, the final battle against Chisaki and Eri’s rescue cemented how perfect an OFA holder Izuku is, but really, the Nighteye and Raid arc could’ve been utilized IN DEPTH to flesh out how perfect and fateful a Holder Izuku is to more characters, in a way that couldn’t just be handwaved with “it’s ONLY because he was powerless at the start” later on.
