Hello, I was reading through Sunjackers/Nighthaze and was wondering if there was any more information on some of the setting's larger players anywhere? Like prolific corps, equestrian government structure, those sort of things. Mainly just wondering if the logo on the heliodryl case is the logo for the product itself or Dawnray's. (Thank you btw for the incredible webcomics and animations)

That logo is the logo for the product specifically. I don't really have a consolidated repository of information about that stuff, it's just kinda all floating around in various places? A digest of that information is something people have been asking for, I've just not really prioritised it while I've been focussing on baking the mechanics of the game and advancing the stories of the characters in the comic!

You can probably glean some insights into how the world works from my story Sovereign Objection, but that story is currently set in 2013 (Sunjackers is in 2077) so its information is mainly historical. Everything else is largely going to be through inference, like how most of the Backgrounds are under the umbrella of three megacorps, and most of the items in the Equipment list are listed under one of those three megacorps as a manufacturer.

Heck yeah, go nuts! It's the only way Nighthaze (the RPG in the same universe I made) can function, so it's not just allowed, it’s expected.

You know, I knew this one was coming as soon as I saw you started following me, before I even noticed I had another ask. In ay event, it just so happens that I do like Sunjack, thanks for asking =p

lol in all seriousness though, I do love Appledash. It was the second ship I actually got into (after Twishy), and there’s a lot to like about it. The number one complaint I hear about hem is that they’re too similar and I’m just like ??? And??? Similarity is the backbone of any good relationship, and I’ve just never gone in for the opposites attract thing.

I wanted to write a little story about them, but I was unable to come up with something good ^^’ There’s already so many stories about them that I couldn’t think of something even vaguely original that I could do within 1,000 words .-.  I do have another blog specifically for writing if you feel like sending an Appledash ask over there, but I haven’t exactly been great about actually doing anything with that >.>

I'm kind of new, but also kind of not new to your "The Sunjackers" ask blog. Can we send asks to the characters or do you not take asks?

Generally yes, though at this stage in the story there kind of isn't a lot of room for them? A lot of questions are going to kind of have to wait until after the current plot threads do their thing.

I do have an idea for a bonus page where Applejack, Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie field questions together, but I've chosen to keep that outside the main story because it doesn't really fit in the flow and Volume 3 is already kinda pressed for space, so I might make that a timed Patreon exclusive! Not something I normally do but in this situation it feels appropriate
