My Full Muse List, Updated
I decided to go through and update my entire muse list, adding and removing characters, and I decided to make a post with the list that I intend to give easy to find tags on my blog, or to pin it later on.
All male muses can be used for gender transformation asks, and any males from their series can be used for gender transformation asks so long as they follow the other rules of my blog. This applies even if a male character from the series isn't normally on my muse list as their male counterpart. I.E. Byakuya from Danganronpa as a woman with Makoto, or Bakugou from My Hero Academia as a woman with Midoriya.

So I’ve had some Thoughts about Free Comic Book Day
So the first Saturday of May has come and gone again, and with it, Free Comic Book Day. I'm sure most people in comic book spaces know about it. Considering the comic's history, this is a relatively new event, having started in 2002. Then again, maybe my perspective is a bit skewed considering I'm older than Free Comic Book Day. Back to the event itself, the fact that in 13 years it has become an international event is kind of amazing, but I feel it shows an amazing part of comics, and that is accessibility.
Now some people might be giving me a funny look when I say "accessibility," as they turn to stare at the wall of Batman content, wondering where in the world they should start if they want to get into comics. Here is the thing: the main consumer of comics isn't an adult. It's children. So that wall of Batman and other long-running superhero comics isn't necessarily the standard. Children's graphic novels make up a large portion of the comic market. Comics are that middle ground between picture books and novels. And I don't mean that disparagingly. It's important to have middle ground like that because ultimately it helps promote reading.
The idea that there is "good" and "bad" reading has always been aggravating to me. Especially when talking about young readers. The best thing for young readers is just to read. I myself didn't really get into reading until well into the second grade because it was hard. It wasn't until adulthood that I started investigating why reading was so hard for me. But in trying to get me to read, the adults in my life wanted me to read "good" things, so they had read/had me try and read things like Anne of Green Gables and Little Women. And it was just so boring to me. I eventually "got it" and started reading like a madman, but it was things like Artemis Fowl, Warrior Cats, Percy Jackson, and Archie Comics. All of these books promoted something in me, but upon reflection, I started drawing my own comics because I was reading Archie comics (and well, Fruits Baskets). And the sequencing of comics gave me a good start understanding narrative flow by showing me. As for today, I've read more Shakespeare, Milton's Paradise Lost, and Wright's Native Son, but I wouldn't have gotten here if I hadn't started with things that interested me. Kids may start with things people may consider "low tier," but eventually everyone develops their own tastes, and they will grow. And that is part of why I have never had an issue with comics being called a "kids thing" because comics too have developed.
Rounding back to my main point, comics are accessible because kids' comics can help kids read more by capturing interests. Comics are no different than books in that they can grow with the reader with teen comics and then adult ones. They don't get more mature in topic but style and can force the reader to really think about how the art and writing are working together. Comics are accessible, and by having a Free Comic Book Day, a day where you can show up and get a free comic book, it highlights that accessibility. I have never read a Power Rangers comic, but I picked up the VR Troopers/Power Rangers Prime comic that was offered on Free Comic Book Day, and now I'm probably going to start reading Power Rangers Prime and give VR Troopers a try when it comes out. And well intimidating superhero comic wall isn't all that impenetrable because all one needs to do is ask, and so many fans are ready with recommendations for entry places. Or you could be like me and just pick up random things from the library.
I know I am coming from a very biased place, and comics have been a core part of my reading journey, whether I really understood it or not. But honestly, I didn't really enjoy myself this Free Comic Book Day. This was my first year actually going. I went about an hour after my shop opened, and it was packed. I got overwhelmed with the noise and amount of people in my small comic book shop. I ended up not looking around that much, and I took my VR Troopers and left, then napped the rest of the day. But I can't find myself being upset about any of this. People were there. People were chatting and reading. There actually was a can drive too, and people were donating and they could get more free comics. So Free Comic Book Day not only showed the accessibility to reading comics themselves but also the accessibility into the community.

Same Face, Different Stories Groups
Hey everyone! It’s finally time! @eddysocs and @stareyedplanet worked really hard on this so we hope you all enjoy it!
Before we start we do have a few things to mention:
First things first, we ask that you don’t discuss your ocs with other members in your group. After all, we want to see what you can make, not what everyone collectively can.
Second, all pairings can be written as platonic or romantic. It’s really up to you. We felt it was easier this way, as it prevented anyone from feeling put in an uncomfortable position.
Third, try to think outside the box with some of the facts! We tried to keep them as general as possible to give you guys more opportunity to show what you can think of. The OC name is up to you. :)
And lastly, we want everyone to create something to show off their OC. Whether it be a one-shot or an introduction post, that’s up to you! All we ask that if you make graphics you also include OC information. When you post your graphic, tag @samefacesdifferentstories and we will reblog it here for everyone to see!
We are really excited to see what everyone comes up with!
Groups below the cut! :)

Oh! for the mechs ask, 1, 3,7,8 &13 for both of them!
3 and 13 Already done -
1 -  Whats their “id” info (Name, age, gender, nationality/origin planet, criminal record?)
Wren Wright was 20 when they were mechanised, they’re nonbinary and use they/them and they come from The City! They are currently wanted in The City, but under the name Artemis for heading an anti-olympian, vigilante justice gang. They basically thought of themselves like Batman.
Ryan Alderwood was 18 when they were mechanised, and I’m still trying to figure out their pronouns because when they were just An OC like Wren I used she/aer for them but now that they’re my icon and they have. Y’know. My face I feel weird using pronouns I don’t use for them so I’ll probably just stick to they/them for Ryan too. Ryan’s planet is tentatively having the name ‘Tír Tairngire’ stolen for it, and I still need to decide how crime adjacent this kid is
7. What tropes are they. Dont say that they are not any trope. You know they are some kind of trope
Wren - White haired enby, and Battle Couple (they’re dating Lise, who is @pitchblackkoi‘s OC from an OC Crew we made with some friends last summer)
8. The most self-indulgent part of them
Ryan does just look like me though so really they’re more a self insert

“Surprising them? Gosh, there’s not a lot of ways I’ve been able to catch them off guard. Sometimes they’ve actually caught me off guard - in the best way of course.
Once for their birthday I actually got the whole agency together to plan something super special for them, I arranged a little date with the help of Athena and Mr. Wright. The shocked look on their face and how tightly they hugged me was worth the effort, definitely.
Sometimes I overhear them making offhanded comments about certain outfits they’ve always liked seeing people in and y’know, cause I love them, I’ve admittedly asked Dan on different occasions as Artemis if I could wear them. Seeing them all flustered in the crowd is just, it’s just worth it. When I get to make them flustered and surprised like that? It gives me an amazing feeling, I think Captain would describe it as.... fizzy.”

I realize that what I'm about to ask might be a big undertaking and if it's more than you have the energy to tackle, I completely understand. But... hypothetically speaking, if you knew someone who was, say, writing a D&D campaign where the Hellenic gods are secretly living among mortals in regular human-like bodies, and this someone were looking for suggestions on which celebrity each god would resemble for descriptive purposes... who would you suggest?
::cracks knuckles:: Okay here we go!
Zeus:Timothy Michael Omundson, Idris Elba
Hera: Beyonce, Aishwarya Rai
Poseidon: Jason Momoa ( I mean he’s Aquaman! He has a trident!)
Aphrodite: Lizzo, Marilyn Monroe, Hyuna, Jameela Jamil
Apollo: Vito Basso, Taemin, Ben Hardy
Artemis: Hayley Kiyoko, Letitia Wright
Athena: Danai Gurira, Cate Blanchett
Ares: David Castañeda (I just came up with this and blew my own mind!)
Hephaestus: Joe Manganiello
Hermes: Taehyung, Cameron Boyce
Dionysus: Miles Mcmillan, Robert Sheehan (AGAIN I BLEW MY OWN MIND!)
Demeter: Lucy Davis, Octavia Spencer
Hestia: Marie Kondo (like there could be any other!)
Persephone: Florence Welch. Jennie (BLACKPINK), Yara Shahidi
Hades: Hozier, Kit Harington, Kaoru (from the band Dir en Grey when he had long hair)

NASA Reflects on Legacy of LRO as Moon-Orbiting Mission Reaches 10-Year Anniversary
NASA - Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) patch. June 18, 2019 5:32 p.m. Eastern Time on June 18, 2019, marks 10 years since the launch of the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO). Its contributions to the fields of lunar science and exploration are unmatched: it has provided the largest volume of data ever collected by a planetary science mission. The diverse suite of instruments aboard LRO include a laser altimeter that fires pulses of light about 28 times per second, creating one of the most accurate topographic maps of any celestial body. LRO measured the coldest known temperatures in the solar system at the Moon’s poles. Observations of tectonic features across the lunar surface indicated the Moon’s gradual shrinkage — LRO showed us not a dead but rather a dynamic and intriguing Moon.
10 Years at the Moon
Video above: This video highlights some notable facts and accomplishments of the LRO mission over the past decade, all of which are paving the way forward for reestablishing a human presence on the Moon with the newly-announced Artemis program. Video Credits: NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center. LRO’s original mission duration was supposed to be one to two years, not 10. “We’ve just submitted our fourth extended mission proposal,” said Noah Petro, project scientist of LRO at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland. “With the national focus on the Moon as part of NASA’s Moon to Mars strategy, the data from LRO has been instrumental in Artemis planning and the mission will continue to be a major player going forward in finding more landing sites for humans and robotic explorers. The work that we’re doing is meaningful to the science community, to NASA and to the world.” The Allure of the Moon In the months leading up to its launch, LRO received submissions of over a million names as part of an initiative to involve the public in NASA’s return to the Moon. The names, encoded on a microchip, launched with LRO. “It gave people a sense of not just belonging but also of being part of a mission,” Petro said. Why does Earth’s largest satellite have such a widespread impact upon human imaginations? Beyond the invaluable science and data that LRO gave and continues to give to benefit the onward march of scientific advancement, LRO personifies the investigation of all that is utterly extraordinary about the Moon. As part of NASA’s 60th anniversary celebration last year, the National Symphony Orchestra played Claude Debussy’s “Clair de Lune” at the Kennedy Center in Washington set to projections of digital images of a lunar day. Science visualizer Ernie Wright, also of Goddard, created this breathtaking view of the Moon’s landscape entirely with LRO data.
Image above: Illustration of the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter. Image Credits: NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center. The stunning video produced a palpable reaction among those who were at the live performance. “People came up to me during the intermission and asked if I was the photographer,” Wright said. “They didn’t understand completely what I’d made, but they had an emotional reaction to the visual and the way it was combined with the music.” Wright has been fascinated by the Moon since he saw, live on television, the first humans to step foot on the Moon with the Apollo 11 mission. His connection to the Moon persevered for decades. “I feel especially lucky to be specifically involved with LRO and with data rendering of the Moon because the lunar landing was my first memory of a major space event,” he said. A return to the Moon could inspire a new generation of people motivated, like Ernie Wright, by their specific lunar connection. LRO’s Figurative Shortening of the Lunar Distance LRO is a major source of information about the moon for NASA. “When they want someone to talk about the Moon, they call the LRO team,” Petro said. “LRO’s continuation is a direct result of NASA’s interest in the Moon.” NASA is obviously not the only entity with an interest in the Moon — yet one particular factor seems to shape humanity’s fascination. “The Moon is very accessible,” said Molly Wasser, planetary science and LRO digital media lead from Goddard. “Anyone can see it, no matter where you are — from the brightest cities to the most remote communities. It’s a way to introduce children to space since little kids can see it and observe it changing over time. There’s something very romantic about it. Everyone loves the Moon.”

The rise of social media over the span of LRO’s lifetime further satiates the public desire for lunar information, but images get the most attention. Having collected over a petabyte (one billion megabytes) of data, LRO has millions of photos of stark geological features lit sharply by unfiltered sunlight. “That content gets the most traction,” Wasser said. The Moon is visible and it is the largest object in Earth’s night sky. “The Moon has that immediacy,” Petro said. “There’s a connection that people can have which puts it at the forefront of our consciousness.” Even if they are unaware of the mission, LRO brings the Moon to humans in detail precise enough to see the sites of previous lunar missions — a feat beyond impossible for the naked eye. Apollo, LRO and Artemis The Moon’s scientific value is not to be understated. The history of the solar system’s evolution is almost indelibly pounded into the lunar surface, providing data over billions of years that mirrors Earth’s history. The Moon exists without the protective effects of an atmosphere or the erasure of geological history as rocks cycle through the processes of plate tectonics. “We use the Moon as a template for understanding how any solid object in the solar system formed, and by extension, solid objects anywhere in the universe,” Petro said. “There’s an important reason why we study the Moon — it’s not only the Moon for the Moon’s sake. It’s an extension of the Earth.” Observation of the Moon long predates LRO and Apollo. “So many people don’t notice it or think anything of it,” Petro said. “But the Moon is a part of our consciousness.” The Moon, however, isn’t merely ingrained into cultural memory: it is also part of humanity’s future. NASA recently announced its commitment to return to the Moon by 2024 with the Artemis program. Named for the mythological Greek Moon goddess and twin of Apollo, Artemis carries humanity back to our largest satellite — this time, for good — before we launch to Mars and to the unexplored beyond. That’s [Apollo] not [Matt Bomer] He's [unknown] years old and a [Greek God]. He may be +Creative , +Wise, & +Sunny but he's -Arrogant, -Cautious & -Vain.
Some quick facts about where I’m taking him here:
Working at the Salvatore school as a music teacher under the name Charlie Wright. So any Salvatore school kids and staff will know him as Charlie and not Apollo.
Literal ray of sunshine, he could punch you in the face with a smile and vice versa.
All too aware that his twin sister remains human and would give up his own immortality for her if she asked.
Really, really fucking love his mom. You talk shit about Leto, you get hit by Apollo.
Was still born nine days after Artemis, but called her little sister because he’s a fucking shit.
Killed Achilles by knackering up his heel and now goes out of his way to avoid the other.
Will criticize your singing, don’t test him, he’ll do it.
Likes the colour gold.
To put across the fact that he is the God of the sun, he will be very outgoing, always smiling, very sunny so be prepared.
Skill archer.
Can kind of predict little things about to happen (for god of prophecy). I will not be godmodding any of this, it’ll be little feelings or something he might have. I will discuss anything huge ooc.
Amazing dancer, so volunteers at a tea dance for the over 60′s at the community centre every wednesday afternoon.
Will shower anyone he loves with poetry.
He’s utterly crap at romantic relationships. He tries.
Has an MD but has literally done nothing with it so it gathers dust in a drawer at home (for god of Medicine).
May update this at a later point.

Ask time: freckles, aphrodite, plush! ;D
Freckles - a ripped denim skirt. The holes are getting bigger recently lol
Aphrodite - during GoT seasons I would yell Isaac H Wright and Sophie Turner (and bonus Richard Madden). For the rest of the year its prolly Natalie Portman, I'd LOVE to meet her in person
Plush - I ugh, have one. A Craftholic rabbit. 🐇
It's a shame really cause I love them but I'm also allergic to dust mites unfortunately.
I have a few plush on my wishlist and they are Luna/Artemis from sailor moon, Jiji from Kiki's Delivery Service, and Rose Bunny by Korean illustrator Esther Kim.
A direwolf plush (preferably summer or greywind) would be nice too.
Thanks for the asks 😘

Khura’in Turnabout
When Phoenix got a phone call from Khura’in, Apollo telling him that he was in trouble, he wasn’t expecting to find himself in the detention center sitting across from a woman he’d never met.
In a way, the woman almost reminded him of Apollo. She had a fire in her eyes, that he had seen many times in Apollo’s. She radiated determination, and Phoenix had to admit, he felt a bit intimidated.
Phoenix cleared his throat,” I’m sorry, but I think there’s been some mistake Miss…” He trailed off, hoping that she’d fill in the blanks.
“Artemis.” She answered calmly,” And I assure you, Mr. Wright, there has been no mistake.” Folding her arms over her chest, she leaned back in her chair.
Phoenix scratched the back of his head,” But I was sure that I was supposed to be meeting up with Mr. Justice.” He said, confused by the questionable circumstances.
The woman looked a little shocked,” Oh, so you really don’t know what’s going on.”Chewing on her lip subconsciously, she continued, “I’m sure Apollo would have preferred to explain the circumstances to you, but he’s…unavailable at the moment, but I’m sure he wouldn’t mind if I explained.”
“If you don’t mind my asking, where is Mr. Justice now?” Phoenix asked, noting that the young woman suddenly seemed very interested in fiddling with her hair.
“I was hoping that we could avoid that question, but it’s only natural you’d be concerned.” She said, looking for the right words,” Let’s just say Apollo’s being assessed on whether or not he’s fit enough to be standing in a courtroom.”
Phoenix could feel his heart drop into his stomach,” Addressed for…what exactly is going on here?” Wondering exactly what kind of trouble Apollo had gotten himself into.
Artemis cringed,” Please allow me to explain the situation.” She answered,” I know you must be confused.”
Phoenix could already feel that things were going to get messy,” Please do, I’d really like to know what is going on.”
“This all started when I was first put on trial for murder.” She explained, figuring this was as good a place to start as any.

AGE: 39 FACECLAIM: Takeshi Kaneshiro
Dedicated to the education of future generations, the next logical step in life is to live in the future itself. Also his husband is an old friend of Artemis Wright, and where Jude goes, Jesús follows.
Jesús had -still has- loving understand parents, which is a blessing, he knows many people who weren’t fortunate like he was. Plenty of friends in school too, like his lifelong friend Susana Piedad (more of a sister than a friend at this point, but who’s asking).
He majored in philosophy at the National University of Colombia, since he’s always been a bit of a nonconformist. The type of young student to organise marches and participate in well-intended but ultimately feeble and forgotten protests. Luck never seemed to be on his side during his college days, but he graduated, and that’s what matters in the end, isn’t it. Eventually he finished a master’s degree and landed a job at a high school - which he claimed was temporary while he prepared for his PhD. It was during this interesting moment of his life where he met his future husband.
Jesús didn’t see himself teaching rebellious teenagers the basics of philosophy for a living, but after a while it became his passion. Life’s funny twists and turns, and all that. So he became entirely dedicated to his students, bent on preaching stick-it-to-the man ways of living to his teenage pupils while constantly struggling to keep his job. See, almost ever teacher frowned upon his extravagant methods, but they *worked*, and he was very good so no one had the courage to fire him. This stability, added to his domestic routine (he was a bit of a housewife, calling himself that jokingly though the term is ridiculous because gender roles and gender are ridiculous) composed a normal life for him, which he hopes to resume in the station called Minerva.
Jesús is a very laidback man, warm-hearted, who likes to talk to people, even if this results in annoying debates (for others, never for him). He may come across as immature, but he’s centred and very responsible.
He’s good at arts and crafts. Enjoys it and isn’t afraid to show it. He brings along his and Jude’s dog.

What exactly qualifies as a “crypt scene”?
It’s a complicated equation that goes like
external influence, causing violence/uncontrollable behaviour, broken by a close friend with unstated but romantic interest on the side of the controlled one, who is not a blood family member, unrequited in interest, just a friend/colleague, or actually an enemy. If it’s a blood family member/otherwise non-blood but obvious paternal/maternal tie instead it becomes a swan song parallel.
That’s a lot to hold in your head but it’s really important to track how it all works and the patterns established around it. 1x22 set up the Swan Song parallel which Sam had failed in 1x10 when he was affected with the anger ghost affliction and it was all a progress from there to get him to the Swan Song moment where he manages not to kill Dean, as John had done in 1x22 when possessed with Azazel. I strongly doubt the actual plot was plotted, but the themes were clear that this was the long-term arc and the show skates around it from season 1 right through.
In season 7, Bobby is the last victim of a Swan Song parallel before Carver era, and in 7x23 he is beating the crap out of Sam against the side of a vehicle when he sees his own reflection in the van window and realises what he’s doing and pulls himself back from the vengeful brink and is allowed to move on.
In 11x14, Cas manages to stop Lucifer from exploding Sam all over the Bunker, but then, curiously, hands back control in order to save Dean, showing a weird distinction in confrontation types. Casifer never attacks Dean in the same way, and their confrontation is staged utterly differently.
In Dabb era, where things are more kaleidoscopic in parallel nature, Mary also gets a fairly standard one of these in 12x03 which is a much later loop back to the original, and the conclusion of 13x23 is Lucifer failing it vs Jack and his OWN NATURE, which had been the attacking force in 5x22 after all, and it’s a Dabb era level subversion which hands Jack over to his true family (via all the challenging them to kill each other that Lucifer did which took the whole parallel out of his hands in a way and abstracted it into theirs) and reveals that Lucifer is abusive and unredeemable to Jack and I would HOPE now with every member of the blood and non-blood family successfully indoctrinated into it we don’t need any more of these direct Swan Song parallels.
So why are the crypt scene parallels different and stand out from this pattern? In Carver era there’s a strong side branch of these stories of supernatural control and begging people to stop with a very specific nature which fits this formula from above, where romance is involved in the main parallels, or absence of romance. There are multiple instances where family connections fail to break it, and comments like “I know you’re in there” and other dialogue from the Crypt Scene in 8x17 are thrown around, before and after that moment, where the pass and fail rate is directly connected to whether there is a romantic connection or not. This starts early on in season 8, from Dean being rage-possessed by the spectre and not stopping for Sam, to Charlie being the means Gilda breaks control from the spellbook, through to season 11 where the Soul Eater refuses to let Sam’s “i know you’re in there” stop it when it attacks him as Dean. Other scenes are staged in the same way with other elements, from the 8x16 set up with the Prometheus and Artemis parallel the episode before the crypt scene, through to the fantastically convoluted method of Mick being the one torn with a mental control he couldn’t break and Sam protecting Eileen while trying to talk Mick out of it, or Ishim taunting Dean that banishing him would kill Cas after he was the one who violently attacked Cas with visual framing almost identical to the direction of 10x22 in some respects and getting Dean to back off from that to protect Cas. All with parallels to his own relationship - romantically coded - with Lily.
And then there’s Thomas J Wright, who directed, yep, 12x10, and 10x22 and 8x17 and 11x21 which had its own odd twist on it, and a bunch of other episodes with suspiciously similar framing and attacks. 10x22 stands out because it has the exact same framing as an attack by a controlled Jensen-acted character against a romantically connected character in Dark Angel, which he ALSO directed. 10x22 also by their own admission had a fight scene they changed, with Misha, Jensen and TJW all agreeing to frame it differently, with Cas refusing to fight back, and the stabbing the book while straddling Cas thing clearly came from TJW’s own personal notebook of favourite confrontation ideas given he’d filmed such a similar one early in his career. He’s also added little bits of unscripted storytelling via the direction in his episodes which continue to build up this idea, such as the Amara touching Cas’s heart to contact Dean silent suggestion, and we don’t know if the back and forth in the scenes where they save Lucifer (and by that we mean Cas) later in that episode but again the dialogue between Amara and Dean weirdly parallels what’s going on there as if they broke a connection. 9x23 also directed by him includes the side by side of Cas smashing the angel tablet and Dean falling to the floor with a huge thunderclap after Metatron has stabbed him, perhaps highlighting the irony that Cas did the thing to save Dean seconds after Dean was stabbed, but also “breaking the connection” between the angel tablet, a source of powerful supernatural magic, and Metatron, who was causing violence against Dean, who was not fully in control of himself and about to lose what control he had left as he died and became a demon powered completely by his id, a reverse crypt scene where the reverse was not so much who was a participant but the effects of a failure. Of course the angel tablet was the fought-over artefact in 8x17. And in 9x22, the previous episode, Cas might not have been controlled, but Hannah, dressed like Naomi and sounding an awful lot like her too, challenged Cas between an us and them with killing Dean in the centre of it, to which he said “I can’t.”
We knew the real reverse crypt scene was coming pretty much immediately in season 9 after Dean got the Mark and we were worrying he’d be controlled by it and become violent and maybe attack Cas, who was paired with him by the Colette parallel. In the end Cas asked Dean to stop, as per Colette, and we got the reverse crypt scene where Dean attacked Cas while under the control of the Mark, and only stopped himself killing Cas at the last moment before walking away. Of course, we also knew it was going to happen like that because in 10x13 a trenchcoat-wearing wife pleaded her raging vengeful ghost husband to stop hurting people (while he was about to kill Dean), and her words were enough to let the husband pass on into peace.
Now Dean’s controlled again, but it’s by Michael, which means we could get a lot of different variations. Dean’s never had this sort of mytharc possession in a way that mirrors Sam being possessed by Lucifer, so a Swan Song flip between them is now a card on the table. But a reverse crypt scene style encounter between Michael and Cas might too. They could look very superficially similar, and Michael could also attack Mary, Bobby and now Jack, who are all inducted into the family via takes on this. The interesting difference is going to be in how it’s told and maybe just even who is directing what encounters, what parallels are offered and what language is used, down to whether it’s repeating things phrased one word or the other difference between conversation from 8x17 or 5x22 or other variations of these 2 thematic trees… If it fits Swan Song parallels it’s about family, but the crypt scene style parallels are the ones written with romantic language, and only used in scenarios where romance is implied, or to show it fails when romance isn’t present, even in encounters between characters for whom a Swan Song parallel would work perfectly.
(Funnily enough, in 12x22, it’s Toni, the Naomi parallel, who puts Mary and Dean under, after manipulating Mary, but Dean’s speech to her mirrors ones to John in season 2, and a father/daughter mirror in 3x05, but it’s Ketch who wakes them both up and breaks Toni’s control :P)

CHARACTER FILES 1.1
Lucas "Luke" C. Justice
Age: 18
Parents: Apollo Justice and Athena Cykes
Short backstory: when Luke was a child, he always had to wear headphones like his mother, Athena, because he didn't know what to do with the overbearing emotions he could hear. Sometimes, Athena couldn't help it but hand over Widget to her son because she didn't want to see him in pain. Luke usually uses Widget when he's in the courtroom, and gives him back to Athena when the trial is over. He also likes to talk to Artemis, since they were childhood friends.
Sprites are in progress.
Hallie de Killer
Age: 25
Parents: Shelly de Killer and Andrea Heart (deceased)
Short backstory: Hallie's mother was killed when Shelly de Killer has been figured out by the government to avoid any more de Killers on the loose. Shelly de Killer hid Hallie where the police would not find her --- a shack out in the woods. She lived there until she was fifteen, and started to get out and start a life. She forgot who her mother was --- having her mother killed when she was still an infant. Her father wasn't to be seen, a supposed stereotype for assasins. One day, she had been questioned by a detective and asked if she were de Killer's daughter. She had no answer, she just looked at him blankly, and said no. She now works in Borscht Bowl Restaurant after ten years as a poker player in replacement of Phoenix Wright.
Sprites in progress.
Meeney Miney
Age: 15
Parents: Ini (Mimi) Miney (arrested) and Tyson Mo (deceased)
Short backstory: Meeney always wanted to be a hero --- at least before she figured out her mother was a murderer. Her mother became abusive after she was brought out of the prison, which lead to a horrible childhood for Meeney. One day, she was in an alleyway, with no recollection of what happened, then after that day, her mother was arrested for murder and illegal use of bombs. She then was adopted by Trucy Wright and Pearl Fey, and now she trains in Wright Anything Agency to be a lawyer, and goes to Midway Public School as a student.
Sprites are complete.
May Miney
Age: 18
Parents: Ini (Mimi) Miney and Mark Stone
Short backstory: May was abandoned when she was thirteen years old. That drove her into studying harder to prove her parents that she can do better than them, and that she's clearly better --- knowing about her mother's past about being a murderer.
Sprites are in progress.
Tera Hart
Age: 17
Parents: Lotta Hart and Will Brown
Short backstory: Tera loves to listen to theatrical, Korean pop and Japanese pop music. She also wants to be a journalist like her mother, so she can travel around the world and meet her favorite artists. Sometimes, she reads books and makes books. She also has a thing for Greek and Egyptian mythology, mostly because when she was younger, she's read the Percy Jackson and The Kane Chronicles series.
Sprites are in progress.
Carlos "Carl" Armando
Age: 20
Parents: Diego "Godot" Armando and an unknown wife
Short backstory: Usually, the people thought that Mia Fey was the mother of Carlos --- because he can channel spirits in a small extent, and because the boy could see Mia in his dreams. It is a high possibility as well, because Carlos never met his mother before, and while his father was in a coma, he stayed with Marvin Grossberg for five years. It was a mere surprise when Diego found out one day later that his DNA matches with his and Mia's.
Sprites are in progress.
Tyche B. Gumshoe
Age: 24
Parents: Dick Gumshoe and Maggey Byrde
Short backstory: Tyche was the opposite of her mother --- she always had a sense of good luck, and she had experienced all kinds of miracles. Maybe that was why Tyche was named after the goddess of luck. Tyche always wanted to work as a theatrical artist, but she ended up being a rookie detective under her father's wing. She ended up being a close friend of Hallie, and always hid her secret of being Shelly de Killer's daughter.
Sprites are in progress.
Alyza "Aly" Gavin
Age: 16
Parents: Klavier Gavin and Icy Parks
Short backstory: Aly was a child of two prosecutors, and is of Greek descent. She never believes that her mother is the daughter of the goddess, Psyche, and nor does she believe that she has the ability to sense more than just emotions. She can also sense if a person's soul was still inside a dead body, or if they already left. She also had the small ability to see the future --- usually she hates it. With that, she knows when a person is about to sneak on her, or when she'll experience a crime, which is why she is a high prosecutor, alongside Andrew Edgeworth. The two are rivals.
Sprites are in progress.
