Jubilee looked down at her hands, shifting her rings from finger to finger. She had screwed up, everyone knew she had screwed up. She should feel guilty, or ashamed, or angry with herself. But the thing was, she had never felt more alive than she did finally getting to use her powers to make people happy after so long.

She tried to speak with as little emotion as possible, “I know, I know it was reckless. But really it was just a bit of fun, they’re kids, they don’t know any better. And if they know me and that I’m a mutant and all they think is their teacher who puts on light shows maybe things will get better. RIght?”

Carol Danvers has been many things, a pilot, a solider, an Avenger, an enemy of the state, but most importantly, she’s been a hero. During a fight between a multidimensional, omnipresent supervillain and the Avengers the team had their consciousnesses scattered across the multiverse, leaving nothing but empty shells. Carol had the misfortune, or maybe fortune, of landing here, in the body of this world’s Carol. Now, with the usual strategies of how to get home exhausted she has to face her future in an unfamiliar world currently going through one of the worst fights of her life. How will she explain her situation? Who will trust her? And what has this world’s Carol Danvers left her responsible for?

BIOGRAPHY

Jubilee was raised by a wealthy family in Beverly Hills where she excelled in gymnastics and inline skating, even going so far as to make it to the junior olympic gymnastics team. However, after her powers manifested she was alienated from her teammates and the LA high society circles her family ran in. Unable to bear the shame she felt she was putting on her parents Jubilee ran away and spent two years living on the streets. Eventually she was picked up by an X-Men team on mission after her she used her powers to help them out of a jam. During her time with the X-Men she’s grown close with various other members and considers herself part of the team even if she’s officially still in training.

Jubilee came to what was left of X-Men after the Accords had already gone into affect. She doesn’t have strong feelings one way or the other because she’s constantly hearing compelling arguments from both sides.

Carol leaned back in her chair feeling their eyes drilling into her. The Avengers compound was different to the one she knew in her world and it unsettled her. Like different skin on the same skeleton, this whole world, it was hers, just painted the wrong colors

“So yeah...a god who debatably actually is a god if we’re just going by power scale booted my consciousness into your universe’s Carol. Logically I’d say hers is back in my body but for all I know everything else is just floating in the void. But, that being what it is, I’m here now and I want to help...I just need someone to believe me. And preferably point me at some place to star”
