Hi, it's me again! I just want to know what my asteroid Sirene in Virgo in the 10th means? Thx.

virgo sirene (6°, 18°): these people are incredible organizers and managers. their impeccable reasoning skills often lends them to being a sort of puppet master - marionettist, if you will. the fact that they always seem to know what they are doing draws people in. people likely have no qualms when it comes to this siren giving out orders and tasks. these people even draw in animals around them - their vibe is just so strong. animals sense capability and trust that these sirens will do what is best to ensure their survival. these people are the leader in an apocalypse. their critical eye for details and ability to find flaws makes people listen closely to their criticism. no one wants to upset this siren or make this siren placement feel as though they can't do a task that the siren placement has assigned. these are the people that everyone wants praise from.

10h sirene: these people have popularity, ambition, and authority on their side when it comes to drawing people towards them. no one can resist this placement who's dreams have proven to breed reality - often they say something, they make it happen, and they achieve results and recognition for their work. they also have a tendency to praise those around them and coach them into becoming achievers as well. if this doesn't resonate, perhaps this is how this placement transforms in a time of need - in emergency situations, they are likely to take charge and assume an authoritative and responsible role.

hello, could you tell me about asteroid sirene opposite sun and midheaven, square moon and ascendant in the 3rd house?

thank you for sharing your chart with me and thank you for your patience as my blog fell apart this past week/weekend lmao.

3h sirene: these people tend to be incredible story tellers. when listening to them, you can’t help but lean in to hear every detail. you could draw people in with your cleverness, intelligence, and/or well-informed sense of other people's lives/drama. debates, rumors, and everyday conversation is something no one can help but listen to you about. you can transform you speech, environment, and intelligence to aid a friend and entice others. 

sun (9h) - sirene (3h): negative aspects: there tends to be one of two manifestations with this negative aspect. FIRST OPTION you could be someone who can make your own wishes come true - you don’t let anything get into your way. you could be sort of pompous and overly confident in you power of persuasion. you could be someone who is willing to say whatever it takes to get to a place of greatness. you could not be someone to be trusted. you may be slightly singular in your thinking, like a narcissist or someone with a superiority complex - you may believe only you have the right answer or should be someone to speak on a certain topic. SECOND OPTION you could be someone who lacks confidence in what you say and what you want. you may have an unwillingness to lie in regards to your superego over shadowing your ego. you may not like when you see others around you debating with one another, starting drama, or gossiping amongst one another. you could be a bystander.

moon (12h) - sirene (3h): negative aspects: these people are very disorienting to talk with - they could talk about taboo topics or topics that seem fever dream-like. very few things they say seem true - or it seems like it is more opinion based. a lot what they say could sway a persons mood - they know what to say to make you hurt. it is never expected when you see this innocence “siren's” betrayal or deception coming. they could be super protective one day then the next they could be the source of you fear, misery, and even your misfortunes. these people give a hurricane vibe - they could love a good storm.

sirene-ASC: negative aspects: you could have a very intimidating appearance - pretty but scary because people could fear your rejection of them. you could have large cheekbones, dark thin hair, dark eyes (or hollow eyes), a level of translucence - again super pretty but something about you could haunt a person and keep others away. people could find your off putting upon first meeting then learn that you are fiercely loyal at a later time.

sirene-MC: negative aspects: feel like i almost always hear something that was not true about people with this aspect. they are the people you hear gossip about and then it assumed to be true for the longest time. these people can be on the outskirts of a community - they could be an outcast or simply part of clique that no one feels comfortable around or comfortable approaching. people can could contribute another person or other people to your presence - you could be someone who is not thought of singularly.

sirens, creatures of the sea (asteroid 1009)

The origin of the sirens is relatively vague - likely stretching beyond Greek myth but my post will focus on the appearance of sirens in mythos. The sirens are typically described as birdlike women who sing to lure sailors to their death. Some legends say that sirens can only be women - it is noted that sirens were both men and women, but the art depicting both disappeared around the fifth century (beyond the fifth century, art depicts only women as sirens). Notably they were said to preside in the western sea of Aeaea, the rocks of Scylla, and coastal region of Naples, Italy. The creation of this race is thought to have arisen with the sea god of Phorcys or the river god, Achelous, and one of the muse. Various poets have written of their existence: Homer's The Odyssey depicts Circe advising Odysseus to stifle his and his crew's ears with wax. Odysseus wished to hear the song of the sirens so he was tied to the mast of his ship. In Apollonius's Jason and the Argonauts, the crew escapes because of the famous singer Orpheus - who's singing was so beautiful that it distracted the crew from the sirens's song. Ovid's Metamorphoses states that the sirens (likely a type of water nymph in Ovid's eyes) were the companions of Persephone. When Hades abducted Persephone, the sirens prayed for wings so they could leave the sea and find Persephone. Demeter granted this wish and let them have their wings - it is likely that Ovid is mythologizing and hypothesizing the evolution of sirens to the origin of the harpies. IN MY OPINION Sirene in your chart can represent a) where you draw others in, b) where you compel others, c) your relationship with water, d) where not many can resist listening to you, and/or e) how you transform to help your friend.

i encourage you to look into the aspects of sirene along with the sign, degree, and house placement. for the more advanced astrologers, take a look at the persona chart of sirene AND/OR add the other characters involved to see how they support or impede sirene!
