Royal Horses

@morningstarequestrian's new Baroque Tack Set is absolutely perfect for tacking up the horses from my story save. (which I've been neglecting for the past year+) (Other pieces are from the Medieval Tack Set or the Medieval Round Bridle. The first outfits are from @objuct's Traditional Arabian Set, plus one of my recolors of that set.)

The first two outfits are something I could see being like, a parade outfit, at least for Alena. (Kristopher wouldn't be involved in any parades back in Oryn, I just wanted to test out all my cc.) Especially the version with the tassels isn't practical for just recreational riding, but it certainly looks nice for a parade, and does resemble parade-type outfits.

Alena's 2nd-3rd outfits and Phillip's 2nd-4th outfits are just more general-purpose riding. Two different saddles each and a few different saddle pads for Phillip.

Phillip's 5th outfit and Alena's 4th and 5th are potentially more of long-distance setups. Maybe like some kind of tour, where Fallon would be riding for long distances, but still want to look formal / be seen by people. (Again, not really something Kristopher and Phillip would have been doing, but it looked good on him and I wanted to test stuff out.) Alena has a second variation because technically white isn't one of Anvia's royal colors, but black is, so if it was a public event, she might tack in black. Especially as that would show less wear and dirt than the white for long travel.

The last pic is a blanket for Phillip because it gets cold in Oryn, especially in the winter and late fall/early spring. Alena doesn't really need a blanket most of the time, since Anvia's winters are much milder. (They don't often get snow, and when they do it's rarely more than an inch or two at a time.)

this is the 10,000th post on this blog so I am sharing these guinea pig photos I took on Wednesday. In the first picture Winry is asleep cuddling the bunny, and in the second picture, taken 22 minutes later, Winry got up to drink some water, and Luna immediately went over to lay down in the exact position that was just vacated.

trying to be funnycore about it but it was so insane i mean neurodivergent to me that i told a therapist i was hallucinating and so paranoid i couldnt leave a single spot if i was alone since evil things were in my house and have daily panic attacks and she told me it was all real and that im just having revelations from god. and then she politely told me i was lying since she doesnt remember saying that. im not even christain you cant kinassign me joan of arc and then tell me im too autistic to be in the same room with. she also kind of made fun of me for being nonbinary but i was too delirious to process it.

Unfortunately Mousse has bony growths that are spreading aggressively and are too extensive for operating to have a good chance. For the moment he is still happy and active so we are monitoring him for signs of discomfort at which point he will need medication to keep him comfortable.

I'm finally playing a resist Durge for the first time after idk five Nox runs where she really leans into following Daddy's Big Plan and the dichotomy shines over the issue of Last Light in that it really reveals how self survival motivated the group is.

Nox leans in, she slaughters Isobel during the chaos of Marcus's bullshit and brings the whole thing down on everyone. But the threat is incidental to the group, it's a result of the barrier failing, which is ultimately Nox's fault, but everyone gets out alive, so in the end, it's okay. It's almost expected really, she's carved a path of blood through everyone except who stays with her. Wyll and Karlach fucked up, you know? They went against her, that was obviously self defense, the rest are safe if they stay in line behind her.

Nagi, my resist, has been largely a very good boy in that he isn't committing rampant slaughter to seduce a sexy drow. He helps the tieflings, he saves people, he doesn't dethrone Spaw, he generally makes "good" choices. So he doesn't kill Isobel, and Fel/Bhaal comes to claim his pound of flesh through Gale. Nagi succeeds of course, but I had to play around with what if he doesn't? And the group goes fucking ape shit.

There's the barest slim chance of succeeding a self defense throw, which I haven't had the will to save scrum through yet, but otherwise you're practically fucked. Everyone immediately turns on you. It doesn't matter how saintly you've been, you've just proven that absolutely no one is safe around you, because if you do that to your paramour, what will you do to the rest of them? You're a mad dog that needs to be put down.

Anyway, I just think it's neat that you can be an absolutely slaughter happy Dark Urge and the group will consider you safer to be around than a saintly resister who slips once, because at the end of the day, for the rest of them, it comes down to who actually seems safe for them to be around.

Obviously, it's the vicious murderer.
