What to Expect

The Tour de la Paz starts in the highlands just behind Jaco and goes for about half the distance to the mountain's stunning 35-foot peak. Cascada del Zorro, a waterfall, is a great place to take pictures and get a little wet.

A stunning mirador is located just over the mountain's peak and offers views of the ocean lapping against sands as far north as Puntarenas Port, as far west as the Nicoya Peninsula, and as far south as Manuel Antonio Park. 1 hour; entry ticket included.

You reach the amazing Pura Vida waterfall, the second magnificent waterfall on your tour with us, after continuing up the mountain peaks and through the dense rainforest. Adventurers looking for a rush can jump over 15 feet into the cool, refreshing waterfall pool below, which is surrounded by thick rainforest and topped by a natural rock platform.

You will always remember this trip to the Pura Vida Falls as an uniquely Costa Rican experience thanks to the sounds of the gushing water and the distinctive bird calls. We ride the loop that brings us to the edge of the renowned Carara National Park to conclude the tour before starting the descent back to Adventure Tours in Jaco.
