Description: Voltron is defeated and both Keith and Lance are dead. Those who survived, like Hunk, are imprisoned in Central Command until the day they die. Hunk would legit be feral for min if they do a doctor's examination to see if he is okay but because of those, 'parties.' Hunk is quick to break a doctors arm.

Shiro told him one of the bounty hunters sent by Sendak would be here any second. He didn't know how Shiro recognizes rotations on the top of his head like that. Hunk was too busy worried about being brought back.

He looked panicked. But tried to keep steady. One false move and it was game over. When the guard entered the room, Hunk jumped into action. He originally intended to knock him out. But..... He killed the guy instead.

He didn't know how to feel about that and he didn't have time to dwell on it. It was time take control of the ship and get out of there.

Hunk had to be pulled back by the guards. He tried everything to get his hands on Sendak, clawing at him, kicking, but he was far enough that he could even so much as lay a hand on the former emperor. It did not help that Sendak laughed at him as if this was entertainment to him.

The man who killed his friends and family, Lance, Keith, Shay, his family, they're all gone because of this man.

Hunk saw red when he referred to Lance as an 'it' and how he watched with a smile on his face when he was killed in the arena. His legs moved before his brain did.

He cursed and screamed in Galran. It did nothing to soothe his pain, he just let it out.

"he had a name!"

The 'Coalition' guards threatened him with arrest if he didn't calm down.

But he wasn't listening.

He was that angry.

Idea for a thread:

Hunk almost snaps at Sendak during trial when he mocks Lance. Doesnt even mention his name and calls him an 'it.'

Hunk says. His eyes made him see Shay instead of Pidge, "I should have never said anything to Sendak. It's my mouth alone that got me in trouble not you. I should have known he would have cheated."

Hunk was still on bed rest but he knew that he will have to take forced overtime without sleep to make up for lost time. Not that he minded. It will take his mind off the nightmares that plague him every night.

"I thought....I thought I was protecting you. And I failed. I'm sorry." He says again, "Ou te faamalie atu, Shay." *I'm sorry, Shay.*

Hunk does as exactly as he says.

"You are...." Hunk immediately lost his bravado. Honestly, he shouldn't had divulge anything about escaping Central Command. Why the hell did he tell him? He knows Shiro doesn't want to leave.

"Pathetic....." His voice trails off. As soon as those words slipped out of his mouth. He immediately felt a pang of guilt. He was trying, they were all trying. One thing led to another and they were having shouting match in their cell.

Hopefully, no one heard them.

For a brief moment, Hunk is silent.

"Yes." Hunk strengthens up from his cot to look at Shiro, who is next to him. There wasn't really anyone he could talk to about his feelings . He hardly trusts the other prentmas.

"The same thing repeats in my head. That day. The screaming, the silence. I hear Lance's screams over and over. I guess this is punishment for going with everyone to see the blue lion for the first time and not saving the universe. There are times where I should have stopped him."

He never expressed that to anyone and quite frankly, he held that in even before this all happened.

But he didn't blame Lance. Nor anyone else. It just happened.

"I don't remember his face or Keith's. Or my families. It's starting to fade. It's just the screaming. It keeps me up at night. You guys are all I have left and its you guys are the only ones keeping me alive and somewhat sane... Otherwise, I would have---"

He sighs.

"I just want to be with my family...In the stars... But then I would be leaving you all behind and I can't do that to any of you."

Hunk would keep getting questioned by Earth's government revolving his involvement in making weapons for the Galra. Not like he had a choice. But their tone aside for some few like the Holts and actually Iverson understand what he was going through. Everyone else is like why didnt u resist lol?

Tbh he would act on impulse and try to leave.

[ SHIELD ]:     sender uses their own body to shield the receiver from an attack.

"Shiro!"

Hunk curses in Galran. The bounty hunters swarm on them like insects. Pidge was injured and so was he. But he managed to kill them with his bayard. Bayard canon to the stomach. He knew more were coming. This wasn't the first time they attacked and not the last.

"Why did you do that?!" Hunk scowls at him, "That was my job, remember?!"

He shakes him gently. They had little supplies left that they stole found. Only a few bandages but no solution.

He and Pidge wrapped Shiro up. Hunk's hand shaking the entire time. Both paladins confirm only some gashes. Hunk decided he'll go out and forage for more supplies.

But unlike Pidge, he'll stick out more.

"Damn it." He curses at Shiro again, "Why?! You could have died!"

Not like he was answering him any time soon.

"I'm the one who should be doing that." Though... These days, he had a warped sense of protection fueled by years of trauma and the loss of his family and now discovering that Lance is gone too. He also wants to rebuff him too. He bite back a retort because if he wanted to protect him. Why the hell did the party happen? Letting those Galra men do that to him---

It was not Shiro's fault. He did not take part of this. It will NEVER be his fault. He is letting the bitterness get the better of him once again.

It was Sendak's fault and Hunk's. Hunk's for pulling a Keith and challenging Sendak.

"Eskkut. *Shut up* in Galran" Hunk says, trying to phrase that politely as possible, "That's my job."
