Console Sports Games of 1993 - World Class Rugby

Developed by British developer Denton Designs and published by fellow British company Audiogenic Software. World Class Rugby was released in 1991 for the Amiga, Atari ST, Commodore 64, ZX Spectrum and Amstrad CPC to coincide with the Rugby World Cup that took place the same year. 

The game was then licenced out to Japanese publishers Imagineer Co and Misawa Entertainment with a port to the SNES being developed and released in 1993, a release in Europe would also happen in 1993. 

World Class Rugby's main mode is the world cup mode with a full 16 team competition like the real thing. A league mode is also included as is a friendly mode.

So for me I'm not really tryna overcomplicate any more I'm just gonna go straight back to the basics n apply what I know which is choose what I desire, affirm/assume its done and persist. I already overconsumed so much and at this point it's a waste of time. I'm not really tryna do no challenges I'm just gonna focus strictly on trusting and having faith not just in myself but my imagination and subconscious thats its done n taken care of, I'll give yall updates on anything that happens soon! Generative AI's New Sound Waves

Generative AI isn't just for text anymore; it's making some serious noise in the audio world.

1. Stability AI's StableAudioOpen

Text-to-Audio Magic: Converts text prompts into recordings up to 47 seconds.

Royalty-Free Assurance: Trained on royalty-free recordings, with a transparent process to ensure compliance.

Open Source with a Catch: Open source but non-commercial; commercial use requires a fee. You can fine-tune it with your custom data.

2. Eleven Labs' Sound Effects

Short and Sweet: Generates audio snippets up to 22 seconds.

Licensed Data: Uses Shutterstock's licensed data for training.

Limited Free Tier: Offers a couple of free snippets, but it's more closed-sourced compared to StableAudioOpen.

3. Existing Sound Generators

Meta's AudioCraft Library: Includes MusicGen for music and AudioGen for sound effects, both open source under MIT license.

Other Players: Google’s MusicFX and OpenAI’s Shootbox exist but aren't as popular.

Further AI exploration

I wanted to further explore potential uses of AI, so did some research on what else is currently out there, or what tools are poised to be coming out in the near future.

All the tools listed in this and the previous blog post provide me with a detailed understanding and wide selection of relevant tools that I could use if needed.

Substance AI tools

Still in development, substance sampler has a new update planned in the near future where the user will be able to write a prompt and generate a PBR texture! This could be very useful for my game.

Blender AI

Blender has a number of useful AI tools, mainly incorporating stable diffusion into it. I haven't used blender that much so far, as I have a preference for Houdini, so maybe this could be a reason to get back into it.

Unreal AI

Unreal engine has a tool called Ludus AI which is not yet released. (I have signed up to the beta, but not yet received my invitation). This tool is advertised to allow the user to use text prompts in order to do anything in unreal engine, including blueprints. This could be extremely useful for creating blueprints and game mechanics!

Maya AI

Maya has a new AI-assisted workflow feature currently in Beta. I have signed up but have yet to be accepted. The feature allows the user to interact with Maya via text-prompts, it's very intuitive and can definitely be useful.

Sound - Audiogen AI

Audiogen is a text to sound AI generator. This could be useful for creating sound effects for my game. I can further edit these sounds in any sound effects software.
