So can going gluten free really help with Autistc people? I’m investigating all that right now. As a common knowledge based idea, lots of people recommend going gluten free for people on the autism spectrum. In terms of the reasons for this, there are mix responses. The first you may hear is fantasy misconception that gluten free can cure autism (this is NOT true - autism cannot be cured). The other reason is that people on the autism spectrum usually have GI issues (gastrointestinal) like IBS etc. Keeping this in mind, it is found that gluten may irritate GI conditions more than if you excluded it from your diet. So In conclusion, I feel that going gluten free can help with some GI issues for sure, but it isn’t a cure for any traits of autism. If you have anything to add to this, please pop it in a comment as I read every one. Also please follow @theaspieworld for more autism content. Autism and money can be a huge issue in some autistic people lives and this is why! I have outline here the 5 Mina points in which money can potentially be an issues to keep track of, manage and budget for people on the autism spectrum. I for one have help with this, I have an accountant and my girlfriend to help me manage all our money ins and outs. Here are 5 main points in areas of money that can be impactful in a negative way for people on the autism spectrum. 1.Bad Organising Autistic people may find it a bit like chaos dealing with the ins and outs money on a daily basis, and this can cause huge issues. 2.Lack Consequence Awareness The idea of consequence from spending may be a difficult thing to consider for autistic people, the idea of If you spend money on this then you cant get that could be a miss and cause problems. 3.Short Term Memory Autistc people will have issues with short term member like not remembering how much you have to spend on something vs the actual price of an item. 4.Budgeting Issues Budgeting is a skill that any one including neurotypical people have issues with, however autistic people can have majorly issues trying to prioritise budgeting. 5.Forward Planning Issues As short term memory is something of an issue with autism, an Autistc person may forgetting to pay for bills in the future, and forget to set up future payments etc. Please leave a comment if you have anything to add. These are THE BEST Autism Ear Defenders out there!! As Autism also comes with sensory processing disorder, there are many things that we need to consider to make sure that autistic people do not get triggered. One of the main things is to make sure that the noise levels of potentially triggering and anxiety ridden moments are reduced. The best and most tried and tested version of this is to use a defenders. Now I have tried out a bunch of different ones so I have put three of the best options down below. 1.Air Pod Pros Apple brought out a line of noise cancelling headphones in the form of their AirPod pros. These are fantastic small compact and amazing for travelling and they work so well for cancelling out noise. 2.Bose 35s My all-time favourite noise cancelling headphones are the Bose headphones. These ones black out everything and I just absolutely fantastic, the only downfall is that they are a little bit bulky to carry when travelling. 3.Child Ear Defenders The classic ear defenders are probably the most effective for children on the autism spectrum as they are small compact and very durable and do the job perfectly well. Please let me know if you have anything to add to this conversation by leaving a comment below. I read every single one! Also follow @TheAspieWorld for more autism content.
