That hands post going around just made me realize that there's this incredible thing Iñaki does with his hands as Luffy where he is never content to just touch things. He can never just grab something and let go. He strokes things. He gently runs his fingers across them, like he wants to touch as much of them as possible. And nowhere is this more apparent than with Zoro. Like

Iñaki, why. why would Luffy need to run his fingers along the entire length of Zoro's calf.

why is Luffy stroking Zoro's titty in this incredibly emotional moment

Just. The whole thing.

The only thing I can come up with is that touch is just a Luffy Love Language, with the softest, gentlest touches being reserved for those who are truly special to him.

And no one is more special to him than Zoro.

oh i never posted it. here is is:

it's stupid honestly. I know plenty of ace people who ship Luffy with other characters, and plenty who don't, but also don't care who he's shipped with. I, myself am arospec and don't give a fuck who ships who with what. I think trying to police what others do on the internet is ultimately pointless, since people will do what they want regardless. It's best to control how you behave and avoid things you dislike.

ive been seeing people say they think luffys aroace bc hes too childish or wtv and its been gen pissing me off bc like. zoro treats romance the same way luffy does. they can both be aroace. asexuality is a spectrum. yk. like. i dont like how you guys treat characters commonly perceived as autistic and/or aroace *cough cough* LUFFY *cough* like theyre some innocent naive children.

luffy makes dick jokes or sex jokes... hes probably laughed at someone saying 69 or 420

i do hc luffy as aroace, but i also do ship zolu too! both of them treat romance very similarly and their bond is super interesting, i also sometimes feel like people use luffy being aspec or aspec coded as an excuse to treat him like hes the girl who gets in the way of their yaoi pairing that has no chemistry
