thinkin’ about jayj and bsf!reader at poguelandia 2.0 when everyone’s away…

imagine a world where after the pogues get the money for finding el dorado, jj doesn’t spend the stupid amount of money on the maybank property and they get it for a decent amount, so they’ve got a shit ton of money left over for renevations and stock and also, jj’s auto shop.
from all the time he’s spent over the years fixing up his own bike he’s learned quite a bit from himself so he’s pretty much qualified, setting up a little auto shop near the tackle and bait shop, all the locals know it’s the best place to go because he doesn’t rip you off and the service is good, and you love it because you get to watch your man working all day in minimal clothes, grease smattering his tan skin while you kick back on the work bench with a cold one, offering him sips every now and again which he appreciatively takes, always trying to hide his half hard on from everhone customer that comes in when he catches a glimpse of you in his peripheral, shooting daggers at anyone who dares to glance at you when you’re strutting around in bikini tops and daisy dukes, thank god for outer banks scorchers.
so on busier days, you decide to kick back in the house, helping sarah and cleo with dinner or tending to the growing garden with kie, which gives you a little bit of a restriction on seeing jj. so on nights when everyone else is away, just you and jj left on the lot, the others gone on a bait run up the coast, he’s trudging up the stairs with his heavy boots on, whistling absentmindedly to himself as he swipes them off against the welcome mat before letting himself inside.
you’d seen him coming so you’re slinking around the corner into the entryway all sultry and smiley, wearing just one of his shirts, stretched out around the neck to reveal your collarbones and the ‘J’ necklace he’d bought you for your 17th dangling between your tits, and a black thong, sandwiched between the thick globes of your ass as you round the counter to grab yourself a glass from the higher cove, standing on your toes, back naturally arching. you’re looking a little sleepy, and it’s all domestic and warm as your head turns towards him, filling up your glass as you look over your shoulder at him, laughing softly at the way his eyes snap up from your ass at the sound of your voice, cheeks a little blushed. “hi, baby.”
once you’ve taken a sip, jj’s trained on the way the condensation drips down your chin and onto your chest, you’re skipping over to him to greet him properly, immediately you’re met with his strong musk as his strong forearms wrap around your waist to pull you flush against him, you can feel every indent of his muscular chest through his thin wifebeater as you lean up to kiss him gently, melting into him. “hey, pretty girl.” he mumbles against your lips, and you can feel his smile as his light stubble grazes your soft cheeks.
leads to a quiet little conversation in the entry way, bodies smushed together, quiet questions and answers between kisses, a soft, reverent mood that neither of you are in often so it’s nice when it does happen. of course this then to her asking him after a beat of casual silence, hot breath mingling. “you gonna shower?”
“maybe.” he’d teased back softly, fingertips dancing along the curve of your hip, partly from his undiagnosed adhd and partly because of how desperate he was for you.
“only if you’re comin’ with me. water conversion, y’know?” he’d say, flirtatious smile on his face and you can’t help but laugh softly, nose wrinkling as you shake your head.
“y’mean conservation?”
“potato- patato.” he shrugs with a soft smile, calloused hands moving down to give a playful squeeze to the supple cheeks of your ass. “so is that a yes?”
you don’t give yourself a chance to answer before your lips are on his, and he takes the hint immediately, strong arms coming under your thighs to lift you off the floor, your legs immediately coming to wrap around his waist as he carries you off down the hallway, thankful that all the other pogues were out right now or he’d be getting a mouthful off of john b about pda, he never cared though. why should he ever be ashamed about showing everyone how down bad he is for his girl? john b sure wasn’t either. hypocrite.

Why Does Audi Q7 Make a Clunking Noise When Turning

Riding your Audi Q7 is fun until you start hearing a strange clunking sound every time while make turns. This vehicle is a combination of beauty, comfort, and power, but like any efficient machine, its various auto parts may wear out over time, impacting the quality of the ride. Clunking noise while turning is one such issue that not only annoys you at the end of the day but also degrades the overall vehicle performance. However, if you know the potential causes that lead to the unusual clunking noise, you can easily fix the problem and avail yourself of an excellent ride. So, this comprehensive guide is all about understanding why your Audi Q7 clunks with every turn and how to spot the exact problem.
Damaged CV Joints
Constant velocity (CV) joints are responsible for attaching the wheels to the drivetrain so that even when the wheels are turning, they get a continuous power supply for rotation.
Usually, these CV joints wear out eventually when their protective rubber boots break or get damaged. Once the rubber boots crack, dirt and debris can enter into the CV joints, harming them more.
You may hear a rhythmic clunking or clicking sound while turning. Moreover, the sound becomes noisier as you press the accelerator, especially when making sharp turns in the corner areas.
Poor ball joints
Ball joints are the suspension components that enable the wheels to shift up and down during steering.
Loose or worn-out ball joints clunk, particularly during turns or while driving on bumpy or rough terrain.
If you feel the steering to be loose or wobbly, plus hear a loud clunking noise while turning, especially on dusty roads the damaged ball joints might be the culprit.
Worn tie rods
The primary job of the tie rods is to link the steering rack to the wheels so that they can turn in the same direction according to the steering wheels.
Faulty tie rods usually produce a clunking sound when they shift under strain.
You may feel the steering wheel shudder or tilt to either of the sides when the tie rods act up. Moreover, the clunking sound becomes louder when turning sharply.
Malfunctioning control arm bushings
Control arms secure the wheels to your vehicle’s frame, and bushings function as shock absorbers to reduce excessive shuddering and movement.
Degraded bushings don’t absorb shocks effectively, and as a result, you hear the unwanted clunking noise when the control arms move.
The most common symptom of damaged control arm bushings is uneven tire wear. But later on, you may also hear a weird clunking noise while turning the wheels or striking bumps.
Suspension struts or shock problems
The struts or shocks ensure a smooth ride by absorbing impacts and maintaining wheel stability.
Worn struts or shocks can lead to clunking noise, especially during turns, putting additional stress on the suspension system.
You may experience a bouncy or rough ride as well as a clunking sound, particularly while hitting bumps or potholes and when turning.
Steering rack problems
The steering rack allows rotation of the wheels by transforming the steering wheel’s motion into wheel movement.
If it's worn out or broken, the steering rack may generate clunking sounds during turns.
With a defective steering rack, you may hear a clunking noise, specifically while steering left or right. Additionally, the steering wheel feels rigid, shows delayed response, or doesn’t respond at all.
The final words
Thus, here is the end of this comprehensive guide. As you have learned, if you hear a clunking noise while turning, it’s always a warning sign. However, it's not always something serious. Whether the culprit is the damaged control arm bushings or worn tie rods, with some investigation and seeking help from a reliable mechanic, you can restore your Audi Q7’s quiet and smooth performance. Since these suspension parts are complex vehicle components, dealing with them on your own is not recommended. But make sure to use new, high-quality parts suitable for your Audi Q7 while replacing any of the above-damaged components. After all, your car deserves the best care to offer you a flawless road time experience in the long run. So, without further delay, visit the nearest service center, as repairing the faults now can help you avoid bigger repair bills later!

Off to the Races | AU: Gangsters/Casino | Russel Adler x fem!reader
Summary: You were born for the stage. A natural dancer with all of your youth used for experience, you now find yourself as a showgirl in one of Vegas' top casinos, the SunDowner. Owned by, Russell Adler, a notorious gangster in the underworld who remains undercover to the public eye, business is booming. Doubly so when a mysterious promotion comes your way, launching you to the top stage...
Just when you thought your life couldn't get more interesting, just how crazy will things get when the old gangster handpicks you from one crazy life to another, to keep for himself?
Tags: Gangster Au, age difference
Warnings: This fic has no explicit smut or anything, but WILL contain some overtly sexual themes and suggestive content, strong language, and age difference bc y'all know me 😪 So reader beware!
Y'all thought I was joking with this post huh lol
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
You’d be surprised how much that little mantra has gotten you through.
Tonight, it comes in handy once more.
You scurry into place on stage, surrounded by an array of women around your age in exactly similar costumes. Glittering, skin tight leotards, sky high heels to pop out some ass, sheer mesh sections to show a little skin, and long, billowing feather accents mounted on your back and head for God knows what.
It’s your first night doing a showgirl routine at the infamous SunDowner casino, right here in shiny, shimmering Sin City itself. You’re one of three acts going on at the same time, all on different floors of the building. Your performance is taking place in the middle floor stage where the least amount of people are likely to see you, just in case you turn out to be a waste of a contract.
You take a look around you. The other women seem so confident… That, or they’re damn good at pretending. Makes sense, you think to yourself, everyone and their mother is a damn actor in this town. It’s all an act... When Shakespeare said “All the world’s a stage”, you doubt this is what he had in mind.
Suddenly, the loudspeaker booms, announcing the start of the show. The lights power on over head, blindingly bright as some oldie style song starts up. Something for the oldsters, no doubt. But then again… aren’t you too?
The curtains shoot to the side on the beat and you can feel yourself pulled into auto pilot. You’ve practiced this dance so many times, it’s like second nature by now. So you dance. You parade around, covered in glitter and somehow managing to not break your neck in these heels while you strut around and roll your hips and shake your ass for some drunk old men with all fourteen of the other women beside you doing exactly the same thing.
And while you preform... Somewhere, way way up on the top floor, Russell Adler, owner of this whole joint and a couple city blocks to boot, returns to his office after taking a walk through the gambling pits. He’s caught two hustlers tonight alone, both of which were dealt with… severely.
The Sundowner doesn’t take kindly to thieves, and neither does he.
He dips into a side room within the office space behind a covertly placed door into a soundproof room. Adler switches on the lights and takes a seat in front of a huge stack of tv monitors. He pours himself a glass of whiskey, and watches the live feed from his many surveillance cameras. These are to keep an eye on his dealers and pit bosses rather than the customers, contrary to what most may think.
Can’t be too careful in this line of business, after all.
The room is silent except for the rhythmic tapping of his fingers on the large oak desk. He’s not one for glitz and garish glamour, but he is never without his four favorite rings.
They adorn his right hand, all made of polished platinum. Three are made in the shape of a thin, wound coil with some decorative knurling along the surface in a trapezoidal pattern, getting slightly thicker in size right up to the crown piece on his index finger. The largest ring features the hissing head of a viper with inset eyes made of two black diamonds.
Each ring is easily worth several thousand dollars, and not even close to the most expensive item on his person tonight, let alone in his wardrobe.
His eyes shift from left to right, scanning each screen quickly and judiciously as he taps and sips. For a moment, he lands on the showgirl performance. The quality of entertainment and the establishment itself is every bit as important as making sure everyone else stays in line and on their side of the house rules.
Adler checks the camera marker and notes that these are the new hires. Whatever he sees, he’ll make sure to cut them some slack.
Some.
One girl stumbles a bit, right there on stage. She’s out. Another girl brushes against the one beside her. Out. Then, towards the finale, two girls jump out of sync with the rest. He shakes his head and sighs. Where the fuck are his people getting these girls from?
He takes note of the ones he wants gone, then manages to swallow his frustration and watch the wrap up. Things end to light applause and before the curtain closes he taps a key on his board of switches to pause the feed. He counts up the dancers and take notes of each girl personally.
You know… Throughout that entire shit show, if memory serves, there was only one girl who hit all the marks.
Adler rewinds the feed and focuses on you in particular. He follows your every step and leap. Watching every move, studying every turn…
He was right. Perfect, throughout the whole routine. He reaches for his red phone and calls up the man in charge of the girl shows.
“Who’s the one in position seven, middle stage show?”
There’s a moment of silence and a rustling of paper before the other man replies with your full name, a little bit of your credentials, and the date of your hiring. “Something wrong sir?”
“Yes, send positions three, ten, eight, and twelve home. We have standards, for God’s sake”
“Of course sir-”
“And as for seven… I want her performing top stage next time”
More silence, and then a tentative, “...Yes sir”
Adler clicks the phone into the receiver and takes the last sip of his drink. Hmp, lucky number seven… His gaze lingers on you and your supple body only a moment longer. He swipes his tongue over his bottom lip... then goes back to the rest of his cameras.
He’ll be interested to see if you can rise to the task he’s gifted to you.
When the last of your shows ends, you and the rest of the girls head back to the dressing room one more time tonight to get changed out of these contraptions they have you wearing. A stern looking man bursts into the room unannounced, he calls out four girls and sends them packing with no explanation given. His beady eyes scan the room and land on you, nearly giving you a heart attack as you brace to be cut as well.
“And you, seven… You’re performing in the VIP lounge next week. Don’t fuck this up”
And just like that, he leaves as quickly as he came, slamming the door behind him. The other girls turn to congratulate you, some bitterly, while you’re left reeling.
Playing the top floor, the “VIP lounge” is… huge.
Some girls perform here their whole lives and never get to see it. You’ve even heard that they hire foreign professionals, just to meet up to their standards. Up there you can make tips on top of your salary. Well, only for... private dances or pole shows, but still…
You go home that night wondering how such a thing is even possible, but soon decide to shake it off. Who cares how, all that matters is that the chance has come.
And you plan to rise to the occasion.
You spend your next two days off practicing and limbering up both with the other VIP dancers and on your own. Most of the women keep to themselves and you can tell they’re a bit resentful of your presence.
There’s no question about it, you’re the youngest one here and by default the least experienced. What gives you the right to be instantly promoted like that? If only you yourself knew.
Regardless, your first performance on the top floor is here before you know it. And things go… Fairly well, to be honest.
The routine is complex, but you can tell it’s been slowed down to give you a chance. The stage is bigger, the makeup more colorful, the costumes more revealing, and the lights brighter, and yet... you feel right at home. The nervousness has worn off by now and you’re a rising star on the stage.
After a few nights of proving yourself, you’re even hired for some private dances and given a chance on the pole.
The cash pool you take home gets bigger and bigger every night, and so does your audience.
But, for all the eyes on you, there’s one strange pair that bothers you the most…
You’re working a routine with the other girls tonight. The leading girl is out with a sprained ankle, so tonight you were given the honor to dance as the Primadona, front and center on the stage. You twirl and strut up to the front, the women behind you backing you up and mirroring your moves. They continue to spin and clear space in a geometric formation to give you room as you perform the finishing stunt.
With a deep breath of air, you perform an impressive high kick on the crescendo beat that transitions into a backwards somersault and ends in a split at center stage.
A roar of applause and whistles comes from the crowd of wealthy men and women watching you.
All except one.
You lock eyes with a lone gentleman sitting front and center at a round booth table in the dimly lit room. He takes a long drag on his cigarette and even behind his dark aviators you can feel his eyes on you. As though to confirm your suspicions, he lowers the glasses to the bridge of his nose, exhaling a plume of smoke as he stares directly into your irises.
He brings his cigarette back for another hit, the small flame highlighting a horrible looking scar that goes the length of his cheek, and as the curtain falls, his creased, glowing blue eyes are the last you see of him.
The truth is… Adler’s had his eyes on you ever since that first night on the cameras. Tonight, he came down just to see your show in person. You’re just as good as you are on camera. Perhaps, even better.
No... definitely better.
He’s been reviewing your track record as of late. You took ballet lessons ever since you were just four years old. Won several awards for dances and even some state level beauty pageants. Joined the dance club at your highschool and got a scholarship from it to put you through college. You’re trained classically, but it would appear the only jobs you’ve ever gotten are clubs, bars, and casinos just like this one.
Adler smirks to himself, thinking of your pretty young face as he takes another drag. Maybe you're not as innocent as you seem.
He can work with that...

Before you read, here’s the previous chapter.
Crimson Butterflies
Ao3
Chapter 1: Falling Under Hard Times
Touya took a long drag of his cigarette, enjoying the flood of smoke into his mouth and nose and the stimulating nicotine within. His cyan eyes were lidded as he half-basked in the darkness of the alleyway, yet despite his apparent loitering, his gaze was keenly fixated on the man waxing the hood of his sleek cobalt blue Porsche across the street. The man had some gall, preening in his five-hundred-dollar leather jacket and designer skinny jeans in this part of town; he was obviously just looking for a quick fuck, as he increased his efforts every time a woman walked by. He’d sidle around the edge of the car, making a show of flexing his muscles as he swept the wax-coated rag over the smooth blue, shining surface of his sports car. He’d then flash a wink and a dazzling smile, making the demure girls giggle and prance away in their heels. Touya wasn’t sure how many girls he intended to hustle this evening, considering he’d netted ten phone numbers in the hour that Touya had been watching him from the gloom.
Just go in the bar and get to schmoozin’ some bimbo, already, Touya grumped, leaning against the cold, grime-coated alleyway wall with a scowl. I’m tired of watchin’ you cast your net for gold diggers. Though, Touya supposed that he wasn’t much better than those gold diggers, considering he was spying on the man with the intent to steal the Porsche he’s pretended to clean for the last hour. The sun was sinking below the cityline, catching on the rigid corners of the skyscrapers to scatter the beams and send bright yellow rays of light spearing in all directions. The day was ending and night was beginning, and soon, beasts like Touya would come out to prowl. This really was no place for a big-headed moron like that to be flaunting his car, but then again, that’s what allowed Touya to conduct business.
A street urchin had to eat, and it was gonna be good pickings when a Porsche was involved.
After five more minutes, it was clear to Touya that the man had no intentions of retreating into the bar until the sun had completely withdrawn from the sky. Touya’s gaze began to wander, exploring the different shops crammed into the plots lining the cracked tar and disjointed sidewalk of the boulevard. His cerulean eyes landed on the flickering static of an older, box-style television perched on a wooden box in the display case of an electronics store. Electronics always sell well, Touya thought, pushing himself away from the wall.
He barely glanced left and right before stepping off the sidewalk to saunter across the street. The man glanced in his direction, doing a double-take when he noticed the dark blue-purple scars and staples holding his skin together. Touya was quite used to the stares and surprised looks, but that didn’t stop him from flipping the pretentious bastard the bird. The man flushed and busied himself with fake-shining his Porsche. At least he had some common sense, but that wouldn’t help when Touya decided to nab his precious car.
A little bell twinkled weakly to signal Touya’s arrival into the electronics store. A ceiling fan circled slowly above his head, accented by the floor fan noisily spilling air towards the front counter. A man drinking Scotch grunted at Touya, not even bothering to look up from the pornogrpahic magazine he was flipping through. Touya almost felt bad slipping his hand inside his coat pocket to reach for his pistol, because he had to respect the sheer energy exuding from this old dude.
“I ain’t got nothin’ for ya ta take, youngun,” the man huffed as Touya approached the counter. It made him smirk; this clearly wasn’t the old-timer’s first rodeo. “If yer just killin’ time until that prick abandons his Porsche next door, I would appreciate if ya just left a fella alone. I got a granddaughter to feed, and not enough money to put food on the table with you upstarts struttin’ in here every week stickin’ me up.”
Touya slid his hand free of his pistol to lean up against the counter and lean his cheek in his hand. A street urchin had to have respect for a fellow man fallen under hard times. The old man’s gaze flickered up from his magazine finally, but when he realized that Touya wasn’t pointing a gun at him, he resumed ogling at the nude woman draped across the hood of a car in a very provocative and revealing pose.
“Does your granddaughter know you’re spending money on porn mags instead of food?”
“Tch. I nicked this from her good-for-nothin’ daddy’s stash,” the old man countered. He grabbed the plastic water bottle beside him, half-filled with the dark brown slosh of tobacco dip, and loudly spit into it. He snorted very unnattractively before giving Touya a tired look. “Does your momma know yer out here robbin’ poor old men blind?”
“You’re mistaken, old man. I’m just out here robbing rich stuck-up folks blind,” Touya smirked. The old man nodded appreciatively before looking back to his magazine. “Ain’t got a momma, anyway. At least, not one that cares.” Frowning, Touya picked at the fraying lining of the counter while the old man snorted with an understanding nod. After basking in comfortable silence with the old-timer, just listening to the flip of the plasticy magazine pages and the rumbling of the old fan, Touya looked outside to see that the Porsche was finally abandoned.
“Don’t get yerself caught,” the old man said without looking up when Touya sauntered back toward the front door.
“Don’t rat me out,” Touya countered, turning around with a smirk to walk backwards out the door. The little bell chimed farewell as he spun on his heel, a bounce in his step as he approached the Porsche. It really was a sexy car, shining oceanic blue as the fading sunlight played over its surface. Touya didn’t even spare a glance around to see if he was being watched as he strutted up to the driver’s side and tried the door handle. Unbelievable, he thought incredulously as it unlatched without resistance and pulled open. What a smug bastard.
Touya half-expected for the keys to fall out when he pulled down the sun blinder, but apparently the man wasn’t that foolish. Just as he was preparing to crawl into the car to start digging into its electrical innards, he heard a pained whimper.
Eyes narrowed, he looked over the roof of the car in the direction he thought the noise had come from. An alley loomed before him, shrouded in darkness as the sun continued to sink lower and lower. He wondered if he’d imagined it until he heard it again— a high-pitched whine, this time followed by an agonized moan. Curious, he closed the door to the Porsche and slowly walked around the front of the car, angling his head to try and peer into the shadows. He could seek a wobbly, shadowy blob in the gloom, slumped beside a dull gray trash can.
“Hello?” he called, stepping into the entrance of the alley. His shadow stretched across the dirt-coated cobblestone, long and ominous; it made the strange figure flinch and curl into a ball, another whimper echoing in the dark. Touya debated just letting it alone until he caught the sight of bright red smears on the ground. “Are you hurt?” he asked, looking back up at the strange, trembling figure. Slowly, he walked forward, holding out his friends to maintain a non-threatening posture. “I know I look like a monster, but I ain’t gonna hurt ya,” he joked. “If you’re injured, I can help ya.”
The shadow wobbled beside the trash can, debating; it didn’t flee as Touya crept closer. He stepped aside, allowing the light to fall over the stranger. The last beams of the sunlight spilled in now that it was unobstructed, illuminating a girl huddled beside the trash can, her expression pained as she pressed her hand into her left side. Touya could see crimson blood oozing through her fingers and staining her white form-fitting dress. Her black stockings were scuffed and torn in several places, like she’d fallen several times, and she was missing one of her boots. Her wild blond hair was crimped and tangled with dirt, twigs, and leaves, and her face was a bruised and bloody mess. She’d clearly suffered a beating.
Touya wasn’t sure he wanted to get involved in that. Whoever beat this girl to a pulp was probably nearby, and if this was a lover’s quarrel, that was the police’s business, not his. His ticket to at least a month of high living was parked just a few yards away; if he bothered with this girl, he certainly wouldn’t be able to make off with the Porsche and go sell it to his auto dealer. As if she could see his interest waning, the girl reached out to clutch at the tattered end of his coat.
“Please,” she begged hoarsely. “Please don’t leave me…”
Well, damn, he thought, his mouth twitching down into a frown. Sure, he was a piece of shit, but he wasn’t heartless; how could he refuse her, when she was bleeding out and pleading so pathetically? Her eyelashes fluttered as she let out another small groan, body swaying as she struggled to stay conscious. She lost the strength to continue to tug at the hem of his jacket, but as her hand slipped away, Touya quickly leaned down to gently grasp her hand. He ran the pad of his thumb over the scrapes and bruises over the top of her hand while he crouched down, looking the tired girl square in her hazy eyes.
“Don’t worry. I won’t leave you,” he promised quietly. Her eyes flooded with tears and then rolled down her cheeks, mixing with the blood and dirt staining her face. They then fluttered shut as the relief overwhelmed her, finally sending her into unconsciousness. Touya caught her when she slumped against him. “Jeez… What have you gotten me into?” he sighed with a wan smile and nestled her head into his shoulder; her labored breaths puffed against his scarred neck, but no answer. As gently as he could, he bundled her small body into his arms and stood. She whimpered, her fingers clawing into his shirt and blood staining the material. She snuggled into him, seeking his warmth and comfort, and Touya couldn’t help but smile slightly.
“Clingy, aren’tcha?” he chuckled, adjusting her to make her fit more comfortably against him. He turned to look longingly at the Porsche. The owner had procured some company; the girl giggled and touched his arm seductively as she sat in the passenger seat, making sure to spread her legs just enough to give him a peek of the show to come. The man wasted no time in rushing to the driver’s seat. The engine roared to life and the tail lights flashed crimson in the gloom, the beams refracting like the wings of red butterflies as he zoomed off with what could have been Touya’s prize.
Touya looked down at the unconscious girl sleeping fitfully in his arms. Would his consolation prize turn out to be better than the original, or was he getting himself into something far more troublesome than he imagined? He supposed he’d just have to find out. He turned on his heel to melt into the shadows, leaving the city streets he knew too well behind him.

Blame @adiwriting for this garbage fic. ;) love you
Originally it was meant to be five times Walt had enough of Malex’s bullshit but I may have lost count???? oh well...
Nora's boy was hurting worse than usual. At first, he didn't mind the boy showing up an hour late for a shift with a stick up his ass half-drunken from the night before. He told himself whatever situation Michael was in he could get himself out of it. And whatever he needed to get out of his system would eventually fade away. It didn't. Seven months of him acting like a wolf in heat stomping his legs about and shouting as loud as he could could of driven anyone up the wall. Nearly pulled a muscle in his back pulling out thorns from his legs when he woke up half-naked next to a cactus. He still doesn’t know how on earth he wound up there. He's not his father the system made damn sure of it but it's days like this he curses them saying no to him. The boy deserved better maybe if he had a decent home he wouldn't be spending his days pulling himself off a curb. All he can offer is a place to vent his frustrations.
"I'm not your therapist. I ain't gonna hold your hand kiss your forehead and tell you it's going to get better anytime soon but you won't find the answers in a bottle son"
Even if he has to turn a blind eye to less copper and roll his eyes at the girls hanging off Michael's arm seeing the boy drink less makes his day a little lighter.
He's not blind or stupid. As soon as he saw the Manes boy loitering the place he knew he wasn't interested in an old todger like himself. He'd be worried otherwise. Manes family weren't dirt poor wasn't a reason for him to be there. "Weren't you the goth one?" He doesn't even get a response. The boy's mind is elsewhere. It's when he follows his eyes to the window where Nora's boy is shouting profanities to Meryl June's jeep that his suspicions confirmed. Trust the lad to follow his mother's footsteps. He sees a small smile light the Manes boy's face and the way he inhales as he breathes tells him he's been holding in something for a while. "Once upon a time ago"
He tries his hardest to stay out of it to not to get involved in whatever hormonal teenage drama they are in the thick of.He can't deny he's not tempted to bang his leg against the rental so boy wonder comes bursting through. "He ain't exactly Cinderella that one don't know why you'd waste your money bursting a hole through a rental tire to see him" He splutters nonsense festering in anxiety that ends up engulfing the small room. The anxiety disperses and he quietly looks at the floor begs him to not saying anything to his father. "Why would I tell your daddy seen the likes of him before not worth the sand in my boot. And if anyone says owt on the lot they'll get another digit on their receipt"
By the time he gets the replacement tire on the boy's gone. And he's about to shout him over when he sees them huddled in a corner, hugging and holding one another. Michaels' curls are buried in the boy's neck his hands curling into his t-shirt for a minute before he presses his forehead against his. He remembers a time he caught Tripp brushing a curl out of Miss Nora's neck it's the same pang he feels when he sees Alex brush a curl out of his eyes. Love.
Louise proudly explained it to him and Roy one night. Soul bonds when they find their hearts equal and counterpart.Thought it was a farce at first a story they told themselves to get through the nights. But if the stories she said were true she knows the moment the boy gets back on a bus to go back to base they will both feel lost missing a piece of themselves. Bloody soul bonds.
The first time Alex leaves he's fine for a while at least the kid gets back to work puts himself back together awaiting for the moment he can hold him in his arms again. It becomes a game of chicken with those two where they skirt around having a conversation until Alex has to leave again. Every time he catches Nora's boys sad he just wants to curse a storm. He lost his first love, Marilyn, in a car accident when he was shy of twenty-two. He doesn't want Michael to ever get that call saying the boy is ash and dust and he can't promise him he'll come back. Michael opts for different jobs over the years always finding himself back at the auto shop. Not that he'll admit he minds misses the annoying bastard calling him an old man or even missed seeing missing pieces of copper around the yard. He's got a reputation to uphold.
When he finds out from one of the housewives in the area that the Manes kid got himself in an explosion hanging on life support he tries to maintain his best composure until she struts out. He closes up shop and goes out of his way to find Louise's girl to ask how he's holding up. The last thing the boy needs is to feel overwhelmed. Isobel doesn't seem to fare any better she looks frazzled her shirt scrunched up her eyes dark as if they haven't slept. The girl usually hasn't got a hairpin out of place.
"I don't think he'll be okay until he knows he is" The blonde nods. "I'll let him know you were asking about him"
By the time Michael reaches twenty-nine years of age, he notes a big change. He's no longer an angry cowboy. He doesn't get himself in the drunk tank. He shows up for work on time and he hasn't seen a bottle of alcohol anywhere near his body in a while. Walt is proud. They all are there is just one thing driving him up the wall. They are still doing the bloody dance pining like damn fools. It was unbearable when they were kids. It's even more unbearable watching two grown men skirt around their feelings. The moment he truly goes against his better judgement and intercepts is when the knucklehead decided to involve the Manes lad in the finances. Sander's Auto now has a website, an efficient booking site and a way in which to chart profit and receipts. Michael looks up at the boy like he's hung the moon. Right, that does it.
"Can you two just bump uglies and admit your in love so I don't have to figure out what a damn spreadsheet is?"
The next day he runs into Louise's girl who excitedly wraps her arms around him whispers a quiet thank you and runs off. Doesn't have the faintest clue what he's being thanked for until he sees Michael an hour early for work the next morning kissing the Manes boys cheek bye.
"What Sanders never seen a bisexual alien kiss his boyfriend before?" and just beams a smile so bright and warm that his heart feels full for a minute. Never had his own children but he thinks that feeling pumping in his chest is the closest to a paternal bond he's got. He's just glad the kids happy.
The boy reaches thirty and he's invited round their house. Dog's barking at his feet and Alex is excusing himself to the kitchen to help oversee the birthday cooking. With a quick head kiss, he's off barking orders along with the dog barking the captain making his presence known. There's photo's littered all around the house of them looking happy sappy in love he's glad to know that's he's loved and seen. He's a good lad that Manes kid and he's helping Michael see he's a good person too. He and Michael are quietly talking shop when his sister shoves herself in the middle of them and their brother silently apologises with a look and a drink. "Come on, Michael you can't leave me out of it". Isobel is shaking Michael's arm around like a damn rag doll and he's choosing to keep his mouth shut and drink this very nice purple drink in front of him.The lad is nervous bouncing his leg around and whipping his head around making sure the coast is clear before he whispers. "I took you to the shop.I'm not having you plan it. We'll end up in some fancy public setting or maybe a hot air balloon and I don't really want to tell our dog your father and me split up because your aunt wanted to plan the proposal"
The boy doesn't propose in a hot air balloon. Or in a fancy place. He proposes one morning at breakfast stuttering out the words wrong as Marry me you will and Alex responded in a Yoda voice or so he's told. If anyone asks he didn't ask.Just like he doesn’t ask when they planning on hitching so he close up for the day.

can i request a cool werewolf!au where peter quill is a werewolf who falls in love with the reader, who moves to a small and risqué looking town?
zayum, absolutely you may! (this turned out way longer than it was supposed to rip me)
Part 2
To say the bar (Y/n)’s cousin dragged her to was a little worse for wear was an understatement. Like everything else in this town the walls were worn and the lights were dim; the only difference was this place smelt of sweat and beer rather than mold and mothballs like everywhere else.
(Y/n) looked down at herself; she was proud she’d taken her cousin’s advice to wear jeans and a t-shirt rather than anything “flashy.” Otherwise she would have been way overdressed.
Betty impatiently nudged (Y/n) out of the doorway and happily greeted the bartender, ushering the older woman towards a booth at the corner of the bar.
“Wellll, what do you think?” Betty asked, glancing at her company expectantly.
“You were right about the smell…” (Y/n) murmured, shrugging off her jacket and shifting in the worn leather booth.
Betty only rolled her eyes, pinching (Y/n)’s elbow as she shook her head. “Don’t be so uppity,” she sighed, scooting out of the booth. “Im gonna get you a beer so you can get that stick outta your ass, then we’re gonna have some fun. Okay?”
Before (Y/n) could defend herself Betty strolled towards the bar.
(Y/n) sighed and slowly shook her head. She glanced around the bar, suddenly noticing all people who were once drinking, laughing and minding themselves were now very intently watching her.
Her eyes landed on two men, one had been staring her down while the other chatted away and seemed to be laughing at his own joke. The brunette lightly smacked the dirty blonde’s shoulder, nodding towards (Y/n) who hadn’t stopped staring at them.
He gave the other a confused look before glancing at (Y/n). For a moment their eyes locked. Something about his presence out of all the others felt warmer, maybe it was the laid back aura he had about him.
The wink he sent her made her realize she had been staring and she quickly looked away, opting to check the time on her phone rather than prolong the awkward interaction.
A minute or two passed and the feeling of being watched didn’t leave (Y/n) for a moment. She didn’t dare look up from her phone until someone slid into the seat across from her.
“Geeze, Betty, you had to pick the place where the dudes look at us like we’re meat-”
“Hey.”
That definitely was’t Betty.
(Y/n) slowly looked up from her phone, freezing when she saw it was the blonde from the bar. “Sorry… I thought you were someone else.” she mumbled, setting her phone down.
The stranger smiled at her and shrugged. “You don’t have to apologize. If anything I should be.” he replied, taking a sip of his beer.
“For… For what?” she asked, straightening up in her chair.
“For everyone else. No one really knows how to act around here when a beautiful lady shows up. Especially one from the city.” he smiled.
(Y/n) felt heat rise to her cheeks, whether it was from his compliment or not she couldn’t tell. “Is it that obvious I’m from the city?”
He snickered and nodded, finishing off his beer. “Yeah, I dunno what it is but something about you just screams ‘city girl.’ What brings you out here?”
(Y/n) chuckled softly, shrugging her shoulders. “My mom runs a diner out here and she needs some extra hands…”
“Waait a sec… Does your mom run the Lakeside Diner?” he asked, his smile growing wider as she nodded. “I thought you looked familiar, you’re (M/n)’s girl, huh? You look just like her!”
(Y/n) smiled slightly, giggling as he cleared his throat and adjusted himself in his seat. “Crap, I promise I’m not a creep or anything. My friend’s and I just frequent there.”
“It’s alright, I get it.” (Y/n) said, feeling more at ease in the conversation. “I’m (Y/n)…”
“Name’s Peter Quill-” He was cut off by two bottles clanking onto the table and a rather smug looking Betty standing over him.
“Making friends?” she asked, glancing between the two.
Peter smiled sheepishly and moved out of the booth. “Sorry about that, stole your seat…” He turned back to (Y/n), motioning towards her with his empty bottle. “Hope to see you around, (Y/n).”
Betty smirked and sat in the booth, sliding one of the bottles towards her cousin who only narrowed her eyes at her. “Getting a little cozy with Quill, huh?”
“I was until you interrupted us.” (Y/n) sighed, taking a long drink from her beer.
“Well he runs that auto shop down the road from the Lakeside, so you’ll be able to see him plenty.” she said, watching Peter as he returned to his original spot at the bar.
“Im not here for that, Betty. I’m here for family.” (Y/n) said, unable to stop herself from stealing a glance at Peter as well.
The bottle suddenly thrust in her face brought back her attention. “To family…” Betty declared, smiling when (Y/n) clinked their bottles together.
“To family.” (Y/n) repeated.
The rest of the night went on slow. The cousins took their time drinking, talking and laughing about their time growing up together. Soon enough Betty was practically falling all over herself, and almost fell at the bar when she attempted to pay for the two.
(Y/n) quickly helped her cousin up onto a barstool and attempted to hold her steady while she waited for her change from the bartender. Betty leaned her head against (Y/n)’s shoulder, mumbling against her neck as (Y/n) attempted to walk her outside.
Betty slumped against the brick wall of the bar while (Y/n) tried calling a cab. She nearly jumped out of her skin when she felt someone breathing onto the back of her neck. She swiftly turned and shrieked when she saw one of the men from the bar standing behind her.
The two stood in silence, (Y/n) clutched her purse and held it close to her chest, ready to use it as a weapon if need be.
“Do you two need a ride?” the stranger asked, nodding at his pick up truck.
(Y/n) instantly felt sick to her stomach and shook her head, stepping closer to Betty. “No… no we’re just waiting for our cab, thanks.”
“You sure? Can’t really trust cabbies out here… some psycho could just pick y'all up and drive off into the night.”
“Look, my cousin’s not feeling too god. I’d hate it if she puked in your truck.” (Y/n) tried to reason, only for him to take a step closer and grip her arm.
“We can go get her some help then. You and I can go find someone, we’ll be right back in a second-”
“The lady said she called a cab, Jason.” a familiar voice cut in.
The two turned to see Peter strutting towards them. He shoved ‘Jason’ away and wrapped his arm around (Y/n) pulling her against his chest. The men stared each other down silently, leaving (Y/n) trying to process the situation as she unconsciously gripped Peter’s tight, grey shirt.
“…You have a good night. I’ll see y'all around.” Jason said, turning and going to his truck then driving off.
(Y/n) sighed in relief and looked up at Peter. He stared the truck down as it rounded the corner and drove out of sight before looking down at (Y/n) and giving her a soft smile.
“Thank you… really. I don’t even wanna think about what would’ve happened if you didn’t show up.”
Peter let go of her and motioned to Betty, pulling his keys from his back pocket. “Look if y'all need a ride I can take you wherever you gotta go. You don’t have to say yes, but I don’t wanna leave y'all out here alone.”
(Y/n) gave him a small smile and nodded at him. “Please…”
About 2 weeks later Peter had convinced (Y/n) to go out on a date with him. Not that (Y/n) wasn’t totally uninterested, but she was weary about entering the dating scene so early after moving.
He showed up at her door wearing a pair of deliciously tight jeans and a button up, a bouquet of lilies in hand. (Y/n) had decided on a little (f/c) dress, nothing too revealing but still enough to have him staring at her through the corner of his eyes.
“So where are you taking me, Peter?” she asked, causing him to snap out of the daze the soft skin of her thighs had him in.
“Well in the next town over there’s a little dance hall I like to frequent.” He smiled, tapping his thumb against his steering wheel. “If you need to learn how to dance I can teach you a few things-”
“Excuse me, I know how to dance.” (Y/n) giggled, crossing her arms and glaring at him playfully.
“Excuuuse me, little miss, twerking doesn’t count, city girl.” he teased, smiling wider as she laughed and gently pushed his arm.
The hall wasn’t at all what (Y/n) expected. She thought it would be super country with people in cowboy boots and cowboy hats. The music was kind of old, along with the patrons. You wouldn’t expect a could of 30 something year olds to be in this crowd.
Peter led her to an empty spot at the bar, smiling at the way she clung to his arm as he maneuvered them through the crowd.
“Is there a reason we’re partying with a bunch of 50 year olds tonight?” (Y/n) shouted above the music.
“My mom loved music like this, it’s kinda stuck with me since I was a kid. I promise everyone here’s cool though!” he shouted back, helping her into the raised seat at the bar before sitting across from her.
After a couple of drinks and a couple of songs (Y/n) didn’t know, she felt about ready to embarrass herself. Once something familiar came on, she interrupted Peter in the middle of their conversation and dragged him towards the dance floor.
“Alright, city girl finally ready to show me her moves?” Peter snickered, watching (Y/n) stop in the middle of the crowd.
One dance, and if I end up totally embarrassing myself I’ll retreat back to the bar. Deal?”
Despite her reservations (Y/n) found herself moving in sync with her dance partner. She was having the time of her life, all while Abba blared in the background.
Peter slowly smiled and attempted pulling her back to the bar, only for her to continue dancing to the next song. “Not bad, city girl. Haven’t had enough?”
“No way!” she laughed, pulling him closer. “I’m just getting started!”
Peter smiled wider and spun her, laughing as she lost her footing and fell into him.
Peter chuckled softly and took the familiar route to his work, parking in the garage and helping her out of the passenger seat. The two walked town the street, stopping in front of the dark Lakeside Diner. It was late, probably 2 in the morning. The moon had risen high in the sky, (Y/n) didn’t notice the way Peter twitched at the sight of it.
(Y/n) fished through her purse and pulled out the keys to the door, unlocking it and stepping inside. Peter followed her in and rested his hands on her hips as she lead him into the kitchen.
“What are we doing here? You’re not gonna get in trouble?” he asked, smiling as she flicked on the light.
“I wanna make you something special. Something not on the menu… can you make us some french fries?” she asked, rooting through the fridge and pulling out a slice of chocolate cake.
Peter smiled sheepishly and leaned against the counter, watching her set two potatoes and a peeler and knife beside him. “Im not much of a cook but I can try.”
(Y/n) giggled and shook her head at him. She tossed an apron at him and turned on the frier. “All you have to do is chop up the potatoes and toss them in here. Just don’t set the kitchen on fire.”
Peter smiled and began peeling the potatoes, watching her walk around the kitchen, pulling together different ingredients.
“My dad used to make this for me all the time when I was a kid, my mom hated it.” (Y/n) sighed to herself, setting a blender on the counter beside Peter. “She was always worried about me eating right.”
She dumped the slice of cake into the blender along with two scoops of ice-cream and some ice.
“I don’t really see your dad as much around here, he seems cool though.” Peter shouted over the blender as (Y/n) turned it on.
For a moment her smile faltered and Peter looked down at the frier, unsure of how to read her reaction.
“He is… Im actually in town cuz he’s sick… My mom needed an extra hand since he’s stuck at home so…” she trailed off. She shut off the blender and poured the thick contents into a glass.
“Shit I’m sorry-”
“No, no it’s okay. He’s been getting better.” (Y/n) reassured him, setting down a basket for the fries.
“So… does that mean you’re gonna be moving back to the city soon?” he asked. He was trying his best to hide his disappointment but he never really was good at masking his feelings.
“I dunno…” she sighed, picking up the glass and the basket and leading him to the dining area.
He followed after her and hopped into the booth she set their snacks down at. Peter kept his eyes on her as she reached behind the small bar, pulling out a candle and a small lighter.
“I feel like there’d be some people sad to see me go…” she trailed off, lighting the candle.
Peter looked up at her and slowly reached for her free hand, brushing his fingers against hers and drawing her eyes towards his.
“I can think of a few…” he smiled, feeling her fingers interlock with his.
(Y/n) slowly smiled at him, allowing him to pull her to his side of the booth and into his lap. She felt her heart jump into her throat from the closeness of his body.
Peter cupped her cheek with his free hand and pulled her closer. “I only just got you, city girl… You can’t leave me so soon…” he mumbled against her lips before finally kissing her.
(Y/n) moaned against his lips and arched into him. The warmth of his body seemed to melt through his clothes and seep into her skin, intensifying the longer they kissed.
One of his canines nicked her lip, causing her to gasp into the kiss as she tasted her blood. Peter quickly pulled back and looked her over, feeling relief wash over him when he saw it was just a small scratch.
“Sorry about that… sometimes I get carried away…” he mumbled, gently kissing the corner of her lips. (Y/n) hadn’t realized how sharp his canines were despite how many times she had seen him smile.
She smiled despite herself and playfully flicked her tongue against his lips before jumping out of his lap and returning to the other side of the booth. Peter growled softly and bit his lip, eyeing her up and down hungrily.
(Y/n) giggled and looked up at the glass windows of the diner, freezing in place for a moment. She could swear she saw a pair of eyes watching her from the dark. The candle flickered, and the eyes flashed away as her vision adjusted to the light.
Noticing her uneasiness, Peter turned to the window and followed her gaze. Of course (Y/n) couldn’t see him from this distance, but Peter did. A familiar face was watching them from the street, making the hairs on the back of his neck stand on end.
“Did you see it too… or am I just drunk?” (Y/n) slowly asked. The fear in her voice made anger rise from the pit of Peter’s stomach. He turned back to her and gave her a slightly smile, reaching forward and taking a sip of the concoction she had been working on earlier.
“I didn’t see anything… I can take you home after this.” Peter assured her, starting to dig into the fries. “Im gonna be kinda busy this week, you don’t work any night shifts do you?”
His question threw her off for a moment, but she soon recovered and plucked a fry from his finger. “No, I never work the night shifts. Why?”
Peter shrugged and sipped the shake once again, liking his lips before sliding the glass her way. “I just don’t want you to be walking home alone, is all.”
(Y/n) could swear she could see a tinted glow in his eyes. Kinda like the ones outside.
Unfortunately (Y/n) did have to work a night shift that week. Her mom had to drive a couple towns over to pick up some pills for her dad, leaving (Y/n) to work a double at the diner.
Clicking the lock on the front door and giving the diner a once-over, (Y/n) sighed to herself and began walking to her apartment. It was only 2 blocks away, it wouldn’t be too bad of a walk. At least that’s what she kept telling herself.
The full moon lit her route home, it filled her with a small sense of security as she continued speed walking down the road. The part she always dreaded of her walk, the bridge over the creek, was now in view.
She could always feel something watching her from that bridge, she just never knew if it was someone actually there or her paranoia getting the better of her.
(Y/n) mumbled one of the old songs Peter had played on their date to herself, feeling herself relax at the melody. Before she knew it she had crossed the bridge.
She sighed in relief and continued on her way home, tightening her jacket around herself as the wind began to pick up.
“Need a ride home…”
(Y/n) froze in place as the wind seemed to whisper in her ear. She slowly turned to the trees and gripped her purse, feeling around for the tiny bottle of pepper spray she knew she had packed that morning.
You’re hearing things… you’re going crazy and you’re hearing things. She sighed shakily and turned back to the road, walking faster to her apartment.
A sudden howl sent a chill up her spine and she picked up the pace, now jogging down the road. “You shouldn’t be all alone, little girl…”
(Y/n) gripped the spray tighter and now began sprinting through the streets, hoping she could outrun whatever was following her.
She heard the paws smacking against the pavement before she hit the ground hard. The spray flew out of her grip and she screamed, turning onto her back to face her attacker.
A large, feral wolf stood above her, staring her down like she was its last meal.
(Y/n) recognized its eyes, the eyes that had been watching her from outside the dinner the other night. She began sobbing from under the beast and tried crawling away before it bit into her jacket and began dragging her into the woods.
(Y/n) didn’t know what to do, her purse along with her phone were being left behind in the street. Her pepper spray was long gone, not that it would help in this situation.
She sobbed harder and tried fighting against the beast, stopping once it pinned her against a tree. Its monstrous canines inched closer to her throat, before (Y/n) knew it, she was screaming as loud as she could.
She didn’t know why she had screamed for him, she knew he probably wouldn’t hear her, but she had to try.
“PETER!!!”
The wolf snarled at her and lunged to take chunk out of her flesh. But suddenly a flash of light fur flew by, tackling the other wolf and leaving (Y/n) pressed agains the tree.
She watched in horror as the wolves fought for dominance. The last thing she remembered was the new wolf sinking it’s teeth into the other’s throat and ripping the meat away.
Next thing she knew, (Y/n) was running back to the road, her lungs burning as she sobbed uncontrollably all the way to her apartment. She dropped to her knees at her welcome mat and quickly pulled the spare key from underneath it.
The last thing she heard was a deep, loud howl from the woods before she slammed her door shut and fell to the floor.
The next morning (Y/n) woke up to the sound of her tv blaring the morning news broadcast. She barely remembered turning on the tv last night, hell she couldn’t remember getting into bed. Maybe it was all just some fucked up dream…
The next headline quickly put that theory to bed as the image of that couch from the bar flashed onto the screen.
“Breaking news this morning, police just located the both of Jason Reeves in the forest this morning. It looks like some sort of animal attack, making it the third mysterious attack in the past two months…”
(Y/n) couldn’t believe they were showing the mangled mess on television. It made her wanna throw up. The churning in her stomach only got worse when she realized she recognized the part of the forest he was in.
The knocking at her door almost made her fall out of her bed, and she quickly went to see who it was.
Opening the door she saw Peter, slumped onto the floor his his head hung and a blanket draping his body. (Y/n) dropped to her knees, moving to help him up until she noticed 1. that he was naked, 2. he was holding the purse she had lost last night and… 3. that his perfect body was coated with dried blood.
She slowly stood back on her feet and began backing away from him. Peter looked up at her, trying to wipe the blood from his lips as he gave her a sheepish smile. “Theres uh… there’s something I gotta tell ya, city girl…”

Get to Know the Difference: Spring Vs Spring Boot

Since Spring supports a number of frameworks, including Struts, JSP, Hibernate, and others, we might compare it to the framework of frameworks. Spring is a lightweight application framework. Making standalone, professional Spring-based Applications is simple using Spring Boot. It is a microservice creation framework built on the Java platform. Word "spring boot" is composed of two words. Seasonal and Boot Combining the words spring and bootstrap means that the first portion of spring stands for the spring framework. Something that enables you to bootstrap a spring application from scratch is referred to as spring boot. The key distinction between spring and spring boot will be explained by XcelTec, a top provider of Java development services.
Difference between Spring Vs Springboot:
Where it’s used?:
A Java EE framework called Spring is used to create applications.
REST API development is the major use of the Spring Boot framework.
Key feature:
Dependency injection, a design method that removes dependencies from computer code to make the programme easier to maintain and test, is the core or most significant component of the Spring framework.
Autoconfiguration is the primary feature of Spring Boot. The process of automatically configuring a Spring application based on dependencies identified on the classpath is known as "Spring Boot autoconfiguration."
Through the elimination of the requirement to define some beans that are a part of the auto-configuration classes, auto-configuration can speed up and simplify development.
Why it’s used:
The purpose of Spring is to simplify Java EE (Enterprise Edition) development so that developers may work more efficiently. For quicker application development, Spring Boot adds the RAD (Rapid Application Development) functionality to the Spring framework.
Type of Application Development:
A loosely linked application can be created with the help of the spring framework.
A stand-alone application can be made with the aid of Spring Boot.
Servers’ dependency:
We must explicitly configure the servers in the Spring framework in order to test the Spring Project.
Tomcat and Jetty are just two of the built-in or embedded servers that Spring Boot offers.
In-memory database support:
The in-memory database is not supported by the spring framework.
H2 is one of the in-memory databases that Spring Boot supports.
Boilerplate code:
Even for simple tasks, the Spring framework requires too many lines of boilerplate code.
You don't use boilerplate code, which saves time and boosts output.
Dependencyes
To construct a web application, Spring Framework needs a number of dependencies.
On the other side, Spring Boot only requires one dependency to make an application functional. Additional dependencies that are needed during build time are added by default to the final archive.
HTTP Authentication
In order to enable security confirmations, HTTP Basic Authentication specifies that a number of requirements and configurations must be enabled. To configure security in an application, Spring needs both the spring-security-web and spring-security-config requirements. Next, we must include a class that uses the @EnableWebSecurity annotation that extends the Web Security Configure Adapter.
These dependencies are also necessary for Spring Boot to function, but we only need to specify the spring-boot-starter-security requirement since this will already have added all the necessary dependencies to the class path.
Testing
Due to the substantial amount of source code, testing Spring Boot is more challenging than testing Spring Boot.
Spring Boot testing is simpler because there is less source code to maintain.
XML Configuration
The Spring framework needs XML Configuration.
In Spring Boot, no XML configuration is required.
CLI Tools
There is no CLI tool offered by the Spring framework for creating and testing apps.
For creating and testing Spring Boot apps, Spring Boot offers a CLI tool.
Plugins
In contrast to Spring Boot, the Spring framework does not offer any plugins for Maven, Gradle, etc.
Maven and Gradle build tool plugins are offered by Spring Boot. The packaging of executable jars is one of the functionalities provided by the Plugins.

Spring in Java Frameworks And Its Features
How does Spring Framework work?
A lightweight framework is a spring. It can be thought of as a framework of frameworks because it supports many different frameworks, including Struts, Hibernate, Tapestry, EJB, JSF, etc. The framework can be viewed in a larger sense as a platform where we can coordinate our efforts to address diverse technological problems.
The Spring framework comes with a number of modules, such as IOC, AOP, DAO, Context, ORM, WEB MVC, etc. The next page will discuss these modules. Understanding IOC and Dependency Injection should come first.
Spring Features
Flexible
Productive
Fast
Secure
Supportive
Everywhere
Spring has arrived everywhere:
One of the most popular frameworks in use today is Spring. It is used in the creation of Java enterprise applications. It can be used to create web services, web apps, and cloud-based services, among other things.
It is used by major international tech firms like Google, Alibaba, Amazon, Oracle, etc. The libraries that Spring offers are used by Java developers all over the world. It's used almost everywhere, including in streaming TV, IoT connections, eCommerce software, and banking.
Spring is Practical:
To assist in the development of applications, Spring provides developers with customizable third-party libraries and extensions.
Inversion of Control (IoC) and Dependency Injection are the two main features of Spring that make it flexible for creating corporate applications (DI).
It's a productive spring:
There is no doubting that Spring is a productive framework, and Spring has gotten even more so with the inclusion of the Spring Boot project. All prerequisites and pre-configured settings are included with Spring Boot.
It includes an embedded web server to facilitate the rapid development of microservices. It is essential to incorporate spring projects, which facilitate the development of subsequent applications. It provides, for example, a framework for creating applications, Spring Data for establishing database connections, Spring Cloud for using the cloud, and Spring Security for security.
As a result, all we need to do to prepare them is add the necessary information to our application.
Spring Comes Quickly:
The Spring framework's performance is substantially improved by its design and architecture. The Spring Foundation, which focuses on performance, makes it possible for applications to launch rapidly, run stably, and terminate swiftly.
Spring projects support the reactive programming style for better productivity. For quick application startup, Spring provides a Spring Initializer function. auto-configured Spring
Developers are given the resources they need, such as embedded web servers, by the boot to construct apps quickly.
Live Reload is added to Spring Dev Tools, which solves the issue and does away with the need for a server restart.
The Spring is Safe:
Java language offers security, and Spring is secure by default. However, we can use Spring Security for additional security. The security of any Spring application is taken care of by one of the Spring projects, Spring Security.
Due to its status as a Spring framework component, integration with the application is straightforward. Spring responds to security issues in a timely manner.
It closely monitors third-party dependencies and regularly publishes updates to maintain the safety and security of our data and programs.
Spring is Helpful;
Spring offers a big, global, massive, and diverse community that supports developers everywhere. Spring provides assistance to everyone, regardless of where they reside or their level of comprehension.
It is advantageous to people of various ages and educational backgrounds, from complete beginners to business experts.
The Spring community provides many resources, such as formal training and certification, videos, manuals, tutorials, meetups, and support.
Spring MVC
Describe MVC:
Model-View-Controller (MVC) is an architectural design pattern that separates an application into three main logical components: the model, the view, and the controller. Each of these components was developed to address a certain task associated with application development. One of the most widely used, industry-standard web development frameworks for scalable and extensible projects is MVC.
Spring MVC Architecture:
View in Spring MVC:
The view is a component of the MVC architecture that is utilized to provide the user with the user interface output they requested. A View page can be created from any HTML or JSP file.
Internally, Spring MVC uses a view resolver to obtain the user's preferred view. There are numerous ways to configure the view in the Spring application. We can utilize XML, Java code, and property files to configure the view.
You may render models in a browser without being constrained by a certain view technology thanks to the View Resolver and View interfaces that Spring MVC defines. View Resolver offers a mapping between view names and actual views.

What Are Car Care Services?
Motor vehicle service is the series of procedures performed on a motor vehicle. It is typically carried out at predetermined intervals, usually after a certain number of miles have been driven. There are a variety of benefits to car care services, and we'll discuss some of the most popular ones here. But what exactly are motor vehicle services? Here's a closer look. Listed below are four of the most important services. What's included in each type of service:
Regular check-ups are crucial for a car's overall health. Regular service will keep the car running smoothly and save you time and money on repairs. Tire pressure is an important part of car maintenance, as it can be up to one psi higher or lower than what is recommended. Check your tire pressure according to the manufacturer's recommended pressure in your car owner's manual or on the door jamb. If possible, rotate your tires to prevent uneven wear. Alignment is another important component to check, and it should be corrected if your car is pulling to one side.
A regular tune-up is a necessary part of motor vehicle maintenance. Motor vehicle tune-ups are a series of maintenance procedures performed after a certain period of time, or after a specified mileage has been driven. When one of these components needs to be replaced, the service shop will repair it and replace the part. Some car care services offer lifetime guarantees on parts and services, so be sure to read the fine print. You can also ask for a lifetime warranty if your car needs it.
A car detailing service can also improve the look of your vehicle's interior. Professionals at Birdie's Auto Spa in New York City can provide steam wash, interior wipe-down, and hand wax or compound application. A professional car wash uses steam to sanitize vehicles by eliminating mold and viruses. Steam cleaning also reduces water consumption, saving about thirty to forty gallons of water. And it's easy to see if it's raining when the car is clean.
The hand wash & detail center in New York City offers comprehensive auto detailing. The technicians will clean the exterior and interior parts of your car while performing a deep clean.
Their expert technicians also provide paint protection film and ceramic coating for your car. These technicians can also repair collision-damaged vehicles. The company guarantees that every client will be satisfied. Most auto detailing services are reasonably priced, and the customer service at this auto care center is second to none.
A lube, oil, and filter service will also check the CV joint boots, which keep the wheels in contact with the road. The struts are essential for steering the car, and should be checked every 50,000 miles or as soon as you notice a change in the way your car handles or drives. The repair shop will replace the CV joint boots for you, allowing you to focus on growing your business. They will also perform a complete inspection of your Car care services Hillcrest
