ideas for the autodogs and decepticats au:

- instead of a horn, cliffjumper leaves his favorite chew toy behind once he's adopted. arcee guards it and snaps at anyone who tries to take it from her.

- "unicron" is a staff member whom none of the animals like. megatron tries to warm up to "unicron" at first, but eventually grows to hate them.

- "energon" is really all the good treats the kids give them. "dark energon" is catnip.

- the predacons are the first exotic pets the shelter takes in. predaking is a bearded dragon.

- optimus leads the autodogs because he's been there the longest. his scary appearance has led to most families passing him up for adoption.

- knock out grieved for weeks when breakdown got adopted without him. starscream had to practically beg him to take care of himself.

- optimus' "death" is him getting adopted by jack. thankfully, there's a happy ending, as he becomes a sort of ambassador for the animal shelter, which lets him return and visit his old friends.

While Fluffout would complain when it comes to decepticats or the Autodogs messing with his appearance, HissScream would just yell You're too close? He complains Food bowl is empty? Complain MeowWave stares in his direction? Complains

Sorry I had to do a double take when I saw cat ears on prowl. I was INSTANTLY reminded of autodogs and decepticats- you ever heard of it? It was a super popular au from deviantart over a DECADE ago 😭

Does anyone remember that Autodog and Kittycon au on deviantart as I do and I some how made my own au that similar to it but it called Autobeast and Deceptipaws, where it have a similar thing going in The Autodog and Kittycon au but with everyone being a different animal and it always random animal like for example Arcee, a cat, and Ratchet, a bulldog, are a married couple and they have a son, which is prowl, a fox. The reason for I made Prowl as the son of Ratchet and Arcee is cause in this au Prowl and Lockdown, a leopard, are boyfriends and Ratchet doesn’t like Lockdown cause well in this Au Ratchet was a cop turn medic and Lockdown is a trouble maker, so you can get where this is going. Also in this au the seekers, a bunch of types of birds, are siblings and not having the clones as Starscream and Megatron’s son in this au like the Autodog and Kittycon au, cause well I find the clones more like siblings to starscream then kids. But there will be other characters from different series of transformers in this au like Knockout and Breakdown from transformers prime, the all the bots minus blurr from transformers rescue bots and rescue bots academy, plus few of the characters from both Transformers Robot in Disguise (for those who don’t know this there a series in America before the 3D animation rib, there was an anime known as that but only in America as in japan it was called Transformers Car Robots, I’m not even joking about)

While we were driving Route 12, we decided to take a 9 mile detour and visit Kodachrome Basin State Park. Last year when we drove Cottonwood Canyon Road we ended up here, but didn’t want to pay the $8 day use fee because it was so late in the day.  We had heard that there were lots of hiking trails in the park and of course it was known for the ability to camp within the rocks. (not sure what feline species they are, but breakdown is a domestic breed / knockout a wild big cat for the autodogs vs decepticats au, as ko was forged from velocitron. i like to think the cold constructed decepticons are domestic breeds)

i had a few breed ideas for the autodogs, so here's where i'm throwing ideas at a wall until i find something that sticks. subject to change if i come up with something better

optimus - german shepherd/mastiff mix. he's all grizzled and scarred from his time living on the street. of all the animals at the shelter, he's been there the longest. his scars and intimidating demeanor have led to him getting passed over for adoption by most people.

ratchet - brittany spaniel. dumped on the street as a puppy, he knew optimus when the two of them were street dogs. he's one of the oldest dogs at the shelter, save for possibly optimus.

bumblebee - greyhound. an ex racing dog, he broke his leg after taking a nasty tumble. thankfully, he's mostly healed, but he was tossed in the shelter as a result of his injury. he's strongly attached to raf, one of the shelter volunteers.

arcee - either a bluetick coonhound or a blue weimaraner. haven't decided on that yet. she and cliffjumper were owned by the same people before they were dropped off at the shelter together. she's pretty cold towards humans, with jack being the only human she respects.

bulkhead - american bulldog. as mean as his beaten up mug might look, he's a big teddy bear. he and wheeljack knew each other in dog fighting rings before they were both taken to the shelter. he's especially protective over another volunteer, miko.

cliffjumper - redbone coonhound. a former hunting dog, he and arcee were given up when their owners had to move across the country. he left arcee his favorite chew toy, a squeaky stuffed bull, when he got adopted.

wheeljack - akita/pit bull mix. initially forced to fight in dog fighting rings, he managed to escape and live on the street before he got taken by animal control. he's an escape artist and keeps breaking out of the shelter, only to get caught and brought right back in.

smokescreen - border collie. he's the newest arrival to the shelter. despite coming from a very bad home, he's surprisingly friendly and eager to please. he quickly got attached to optimus and doesn't like to leave his side.

If you follow my main or are on the Griftlands fan Discord you’re probably aware that I’ve been developing a bot that fetches card info and stuff. Well I finished it up and it’s now a member of the server as of today! Here’s the pfp I drew for it,  just like how a dog fetches a toy I'd thought it would be fun for it to be an AutoDog with cards :P

So, basically, it was set in a world where everyone was dogs (I know weird, just go with it) and the dream mainly focused on the Decepticons, mainly Starscream. So, in the dream, their rankings kinda dictated what breed they were. Grounders were stocky, muscular breeds (ex. Knockout was a huskey, Breakdown was a caine corso) and seekers were tall, lanky breeds, and all off them had wings (Starscream was a greyhound with elliptical wings, like a sparrow or magpie, Soundwave was a saluki with soaring wings, similar to that of an eagle, Shockwave (who was a seeker in this dream I guess) was a borzoi with bat wings, and Megatron was a Irish Wolf hound with harpy eagle wings). The Autobots (or... Autodogs, in this scenario?... yeah) werent really there, but the Decepticons were very much still at war with them.

So, the story of the dream was that Starscream fucked up a mission, and Megatron absolutely snapped and decided Starscream with just worthless, so, in a very graphic and long scene that I did not expect, he broke Starscreams wings and left him for dead. And Starscream ends up dragging himself away, but instinctually keeps trying to use his wings to get to safety, only to be met with this shattering pain and the heartbreaking realization that his wings are just hanging limp at his sides, and that the only thing that really brought him any joy has been ripped away from him.

And he just wanders aimlessly, not even knowing what to do, until hes found by another dog, who wasnt part fo to either the Decepticons or the Autodogs? He was just kinda this strange middle party who doenst know about the others. I cant remember his name, but for some reason, the name Kepler, or Kep is sticking with me, so well go with that.

So, Kep finds Starscream, and doesnt know he is/was a Decepticon, and he attempts to help, and Starscream, thinking Kep is an Autodog, hatched a plan to befriend Kep, wait till his wings heal, learn what he can about the Autodogs, and then report that info back to Megatron in hopes of being accepted back into the Decepticons (cause... Starscream).

The only problem is... Kep treats him really well... by which I mean he treats him like a person and with respect. And Starscream quickly starts enjoying just being treated with basic respect, and actually developes feelings for Kep through the months it takes for Starscream to heal.

The dream cuts off with Starscream and Kep finding out that Knockout and Breakdown left the Decepticons and have straight up been missing for month, because they went looking for Starscream, and because the abuse that Megatron had targeted at Starscream was not being directed at Knockout, and Breakdown was already coming close to potentially attacking Megatron in order to protect his mate, so they chose to leave before things escalated to that point.

It was weird, but also kinda sweet. I actually really likes the scenes with Starscream and Kep, and just Starscream receiving affection for basically the first time, and realizing he didnt deserve what happend to him.

This the kind of dream I'd be annoyed to wake up and realize wasn't real, and I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to attempt drawing Starscream and Kep.

I haven’t been doing a good job of showing off my Shapeways stuff lately, so here’s a big post showing off a bunch of weapon accessories I've produced for Legion-class Transformers, ranging from “brand new” to “been there for months.”

I’ve armed RID Grimlock with approximations of the weapons of his ancestors: Pretender Grimlock’s sword-gun and movie Grimlock’s club.  Ratchet and Starscream get in on that action, too, with tiny versions of their Warrior toys’ weapons.

On the Bayverse side of things, I have a gun, missile, and saw for Barricade, based on the weapons included with the Club-exclusive Deluxe Prime Barricade (see, because they’re both RID Prowl redecoed into Barricade).  More straightforward, I have a minigun for Hound and a pair of pistols for Crosshairs, both based on the accessories from their larger AOE toys.
