#hacks#hacks hbo#hacksedit#ava daniels#deborah vance#my stuff#i think what people sometimes fail to grasp is that two people can have a relationship to each other#and that relationship can mean entirely different things to each person#and be perceived in completely different ways by each person#and also that those perceptions arent fixed#and that deep connections stretch out into a lot of different territories and roles#and nobody is wrong to think one thing or the other#i for one believe ava obviously has a romantic idea of their relationship#and deborah im sure is aware of that#but in my interpretation she does not share in that perception#ava to deborah is primarily her relationship to self#and then for both of them the push and pull between those different ideas#manifests in varied dynamics that sometimes read romantic and sometimes read familial#and neither one is the whole truth of it#and either way they're making me sob in my room
