It's been one of those months, I guess. Lotsa sad friends and just tryna make them happy with their favorite things. In this case, Baymax and sushi <3 I also finally figured out how I wanted my shorthand signature to look, so plan on seeing that in the future til you get sick of it. Are you guys having a good day? Just a situation that happened today between my boyfriend and I. He's always snatchin' bites of my food for "taxing" purposes and TODAY I have found his /weakness/ and I'm just... so damn happy.

Don't ask why we're animals, it's a long story.

This was actually a Christmas present that started out as an experiment that I drew back in November @-@ I drew it a month early so I knew I’d be on time posting it for my friend and then I never got around to actually posting it.

Anyway, this is Piplup in an arctic background. I don’t do lineless digital art very often, but I’m getting used to mixing colors on one canvas and soon I’ll be able to do so without the lineart guiding me~ I find it really fun to use Pokemon when I wanna step out of the box with something cause they’re such simple creatures to draw, usually. I like to use them as practice when I’m warming up for a drawing as well since they’re basic shapes with minimal detail. In this piece specifically, I was practicing backgrounds and bubbles. I love how the bubbles turned out, but the background still has much let to be desired, I think. I was semi-working off of photos, but I also wanted to try and make up my own environment. My depth is off and that’s why I’m at odds with it, but it turned out to be a really good exercise anyway :]

Drew this on the anniversary of a friend's cat's death, in memory of them. Just wanted to cheer her up. This was referenced from the favorite photo she had of him. His name was Midas and he was a lovely furball.

Chibi samples I made for my commission’s sheet I’ll be throwing out here very soon~ I decided to just use the same subject for each sample (chibi, bust, 3/4th, and full size) to be more consistent. This is Ashe from the game League of Legends, btw haha. Keep a lookout for my commission’s post! I could really use the money and I’m looking forward to bringing your creations to life!

Another OC I created specifically with a friend in mine to play her against. It’s the first draft of her and I used this bust to play with skin colors and shading. Her haircut reminds me a lot of Noodle from the band Gorillaz haha. Still working on her design, but this is good for a first try. Her name is Sage~

Another commission for the same one who ordered the stripper (kek). This guy's name is Taylor and he is a very sweet bean~ (the brunette was an unintentional add-in, his name is Jaoquin) I'm having tooo much fun with front facing shadows and lighting. I really need to break the habit haha.

This'll probably be the most popular thing on here cause of the booty, I'm bettin' ya~ Anyway, this is another drawing I'm making for someone. It's a sheep Lux in her Magma Elementalist skin, light on the "sheep" and "Magma skin" part ahah~ I'm having trouble with the colour palette atm or else she'd have been done by now. So she's become my color experiment piece instead now.

Was doing some sketch practice and figuring out how to draw faces/lips a bit more efficiently aahah. Then I decided to take that first image and tweak it into a cow because I cannn. Was an interesting experience. I used a ref from pinterest, but the girl (at least in the lips) reminds me heavily of uhh... Black Widow’s actor (I suck with names, sorry ;-; ).

Apologies for the Watermark across her face as this was actually a COMMISSION (yay <3) from one of the people I roleplay with on Gaia. I’m not 100% happy with the skin tone, but she wanted a yellow cow and she loved the end result and so if the customer is happy, that’s all that matters~

This is the bust commission sample I made for the aforementioned commission sheet I’m working on putting together :] Gonna offer a variety of things I can draw, but I assume most, if any, of the commissions I get will probably be original characters people are hoping to get brought to life in my style.
