Its become a life goal of mine to make an omori mod one day all about Basil- I have so many ideas about him that I want to make a reality

:( but I literally don’t have access to a computer so while I’d love to write for a mod and draw art for a mod, making it playable would be impossible for me to do

But if I ever had the chance I would do it so so fast man, I think Basil deserves a backstory and I have a really good idea of what I would want it to be- listen if anyone out there is thinking of making an omori mod about Basil I want to help so bad you don’t even get it i want there to be more content about him so bad :(

Jason Visiting His Significant Others Polish Family

Totally self indulgent headcannon here. Based on my Polish American family.

- He had been curious about meeting your family since you talked about them a lot.

- Like you went home every holiday, so he knew they were important to you.

- Next holiday, you bring him over. Of course, you warned you mother ahead of time.

- He offers to bring flowers for your mother and grandmas. Reminding him no red or white flowers.

- He was suprised to see every single family member, but as you explained close family.

- Stopped by to greet the neighbors who even seemed to know who he was. Got to love a gossiping family.

- Finally gets inside, and at first people are very formal towards him. Tell him give them time to get use to him. They won't let him leave by the end of the night.

- Your whole family greeting you with kissings while also scolding you for not bringing him around sooner.

- A few of your younger cousins try to get him to say a few sentences in Polish and then laugh at how he pronounces it.

- So much food. He knew you said come with an empty stomach, but he needed a bigger stomach.

- sauerkraut and dumplings, kapusniak,bigos, potatos in different forms, boiled cabbage with meat and rice, three different types of pierogies, and so much more.

- Super proud cause you made one of the plates of pierogies, so he makes sure to take extra of that. He knew how long it took you to make those. After all, you burnt the first few batches.

- During dinner, someone asked if he would come to one of the cousins wedding.

- Of course you were going to ask, but leave it to the family to invite him themselves.

- He said he could probably take that night off and then one of your siblings informing him he needs the whole weekend off.

- Loud dinner with lots of conversations. He tries to keep up but with some in English and some in Polish, he is struggling.

- Somehow his plate keeps getting filled whenever he looks away.

- Then came dessert: babka, makowiec, qnd kolacz.

- Thankfully someone gave him some to go containers.

- Offers to help with dishes, your grandma gives him a kiss on the cheek. Can't help but laugh when you see a lipstick stain from it.

- Amazed how close everyone is. It seems Sunday late lunch includes everyone. Even second and third cousins.

- Like minus patrol, he doesn't even see his siblings that much.

- You have to save him with babica starts asking when you two were getting married. You can tell how uncomfy he is when people ask personal questions.

- After finally leaving after lots of kisses from family for both, he inquires why he needs a full weekend off for the cousins wedding.

- You laugh and just tell him dont eat for a day or so before. Also how much does he like vodka?

Mila Bakalowitz : the Brooklyn Babe

The little Bakalowitz family of two became three the day Mila was born. The small tribe of the Bakalowitz were not rich, but never in want of money. Johan, her father is a Math professor at NYU and Maria, her mother, an ER nurse at Lutheran General Hospital in Manhattan.

Mila attended NYU, she commuted from home and graduated with a Business Science Bachelor’s degree and a minor in accrual finance. She wasn’t an out-of-work college grad for long. That following fall, she was hired as an accountant for an international investment firm downtown Boston. It was a fast pace work environment, but soon Mila grew to hate it. To the point that she would cry on her way into her into the office. In 2008, when the economy took a down turn, she and a few others were laied off.  Mila took this lay-off as an opportunity, and set up her own business. As You Wish Event Planning, Co.

Around this time, Danek moved back to New York to start his career with a fresh start. He was working cyber security for a corporate law firm downtown Chicago. He was engaged and on his way to be supervisor. When Danek found his fiancee was cheating on him with a managing partner of the firm. He suffered a minor heart attack, after the shock of the news.  

Mila quickly flew out to help her cousin back on his feet. Having Mila around made Danek homesick. He was let go with a severance package, and Danek took all of it to move back to the NYC. A clean slate in an old city. He and Mila moved back to Brooklyn, he took a bartending gig at the first bar he walked into. And Mila hit the ground, bulding her own clientele. 

It took a few years of doing children birthdays at bowling alleys + setting up PTA fundraisers. But it wasn’t long before Mila broke into the wedding scene, the real reason she wanted to be an event planner. Even with tragedy rooting in her family history, Mila loved love and wanted to help all couples on their special day. The day where they made a promise before their friends + family, Mila wanted to help make that happen. In Fall of 2015, As You Wish Event Planning, Co. became the 4th most popular Event Services used in Boston-Manchester Area. And Mila has no plans of slowing down.

She does business as Ms. Mila Raymond since it’s easier to pronounce than her surname

Was named by the New York Times  #3 as the best wedding planning company in the Metropolitan area

Really close with her only cousin, Danek Bakalowitz

He is also her roommate

Most of her relationships last 9-10 months. More or less, she get’s bored and either waits for them to dump her or she drops them

She did have an affair with her college math professor. This was published in Gossip Girls’ site when it happened.

Has a B.A.S. Degree in Accounting and minor in Accrual Sciences

Likes to drink rum with cherry juice, IPAs and German/Polish import beers

A mediocre cook, but an excellent baker

Her dog Bilbo is almost always in the office with her, he is a very docile sidekick. But likes to run with Mila in Central Park.

Would rather play a card came vs. a board game

Takes her coffee with sweet cream, tea with sugar + an almond milk latte

Can speak conversational Slovak to converse with her Babica (grandma) + Dedko (grandpa)
