Age Regressor Skywishes and Caregiver Starcatcher Headcanons!

🦋 Starcatcher loves Skywishes' singing voice, even if it isn't any good. She even bought her a toy microphone too.

🦋 The two love going for walks in the park and flying kites together.

🦋 Skywishes has a huge stuffie collection. They all have their own names and Starcatcher has to kiss each and every one of them goodnight before going to sleep.

🦋 Skywishes has her own bedtime routine where Starcatcher helps her get ready for bed and reads her a bedtime story.

🦋 Starcatcher used to babysit Honolu-loo, so she has a fair bit of experience looking after kiddos.

🦋 Skywishes has her own blankie that she likes to snuggle with. If it ever goes missing, Starcatcher won't rest until she finds it.

🦋 Skywishes can be a bit of a chatterbox and can talk about her hyperfixations for hours. Starcatcher can understand even her most indecipherable baby talk.

Baby Honolu-Loo - the first G3 baby Pegasus, hence her unique raised designs, likely trying to match her to the very elaborate first version of Star Catcher as the brand figured out how to integrate pegasi into the main line (eventually loosing that detail and settling on just the small wings.)

Pony of the Day #110- Baby Honolu-Loo- 2005 Butterfly Island Playset

She is the daughter of Princesses Heart Bright and Star Flight, who are Star Catcher’s sister and her wife! So she is part of the royal family, and she inherited her Uncle Star Catcher’s cool body markings!

So I was thinking, who would I pick if I was asked to designate G3′s Core 7?  And here are my picks--trying to keep the colors diverse.

Rarity - talent: trying new things, making new friends -  If they wanted they could give her a baby pony mold (like they did with G3.5 Sweetie Belle), because she is supposed to be a younger pony.

Rainbow Dash - talent: fashion - Just keep her “dahling” voice and diva attitude.

Minty - talent: sock collecting, being silly and walking to the beat of her own drum - I would make her a slightly “greener” green, for contrast, but otherwise she’s great.

Pinkie Pie - talent: singing - So in the actual Core 7 Pinkie Pie’s thing was like “she’s everyone’s best friend and she loves parties!” But that described ALL the Core 7 ponies.  Pinkie sings frequently the specials so I would give her StarSong’s talent, just make it less “professional-level singer who can draw a crowd” and more “talented amateur who loves karaoke”.  Also she could write little ditties for her friends’ birthday parties.  I’d also keep this darker pink for her body, not the more pastel pink.

Bumblesweet - talent: baking - Her thing would be that sometimes she acts too hastily, resulting in her forgetting an ingredient, replacing salt for sugar, etc, so it’s like 50/50 if her baking is edible.

Honolu-loo  - talent: sports - She’s here to replace Scootaloo as The Sports One. She’s bubbly around friends but shy around strangers, so she needs encouragement / support from her friends at athletic competitions. Her main talents are swimming and surfing.  She's still shaky in the air, but dreams of being in pegasus races someday.  (So that could be something to have stories about, how she improves via practice, how you don’t have to start out good at something to master it, etc.)

Royal Rose - talent: gardening -  I knew I needed a purple pony in the mix and I thought another pegasus would be nice.  Royal Rose is like the mom friend; sometimes she’s the voice of reason, other times she worries a little too much.  She’s very protective of Honolu-loo and essentially is her guardian at the moment.  (I figure Honolu-loo is probably Star Catcher’s kid, because they look similar, but is being raised communally by all the pegasi.)  She loves giving bouquets to her friends.  Has passionate opinions on mulching.

1/7/22 - Honolu-loo Debut: 2004 (film cameo in Dancing in the Clouds), 2005 (toy), making her G3! Cutie Mark: A pink butterfly with a purple body and yellow swirls and dots on its wings, with two yellow and orange flowers on either side. Fun Fact: Honolu-loo was the only baby pegasus ever made!

Yes, I have EVEN MORE new G3 My Little Ponies from eBay. I don't have anything else to post except ponies! 😅

Baby Honolu-loo and Baby Sparkleberry Swirl were bought individually.

Tropical Delight, Magic Marigold, Gardenia Glow, and Bowtie came together in one lot! The four of them were in a Toys R Us-exclusive pack, apparently. They were REALLY scuffed up and took forever to clean.

👘 🏮 🎏 🎋 Ponies in the Japanese Garden 👘 🏮 🎏 🎋

Kimono and Summer Shores wanted to visit the Japanese Garden of Buenos Aires, Argentina, so they organized an excursion. Kimono invited her boyfriend Desert Blossom and Summer took her baby Honolu-Loo and his little sea pony friend. 😊

They enjoyed the beautiful views, made a picnic under their "wagasa" umbrellas and bought some "tsurus" (origami cranes) 🐦

Pony of the Day #110- G3 Star Flight-2006 Pegasus Pony Deluxe Wings Single

She is married to Heart Bright ( I mean, they shared the same BED in a canon short in G3! LOVE IT!!!) and has a daughter, Baby Honolu-Loo! Her wife is King Star Catcher’s younger sister, which makes Heart Bright a new princess of Butterfly Island, ruling together with her wife!
