the fact that tim was protective of dick from literally day one makes me feel so crazy. that night at the circus this little toddler had to be restrained from leaping out of his seat to try and save dick from batman until he realized batman was there to help. on his very first outing in the robin costume, hes frantically going through the rubble thinking "i encouraged dick to come back, if anything happened to him bc of me--" and like he does not ever stop being protective of dick. like. this does not change. like he finds out dick and helena had a thing and more or less tells dick hes too sensitive for her like... 😭 timothy. timothy!!!!

The siblings' catchup was going great talking about Robbie's job applications and Renee returning to work soon. It was until Renee asked that question, speaking in a tone that was almost impossible to hear. "So…do you still hang out with Keon?" Now that question aggravated Robbie. "Seriously Renee?" Robbie felt his face heating up with the stupidity of his sister. Things were going well and he was able to see amends to their relationship, but bringing up Keon? He always resulted in arguments and Renee must clearly know that.

"I'll answer your question, I haven't since high school. Are you happy now?" Robbie revealed, hoping to get this over with. "He said he was getting out of Sulani. Said he was joining the military. I have no clue what that dumbshit is doing or where he is." Tension held in the air and it felt too awkward to say anything afterwards…except for an apology.

Note: Here's some context for those who don't know! Growing up, Robbie has always felt overshadowed by his sister, leading to his low confidence. So he found it hard to fit in at school and make friends. As a result, he ends up being mean to defend himself so that people wouldn't look down on him (like his sister did). That continued to the present and affected his work life with being burnt out and not getting along with coworkers. In high school he did end up making friends, one of them being Keon. Let's just say Keon was bad news and Renee knew about that. She tried to warn him to stay away from him, but he didn't listen and their relationship worsened. Judging from Robbie's reaction, it sounds like something happened 👀 Now back to the present with fixing the relationship! But there are some small issues. Robbie is mean, Renee is argumentative and so they argue a lot. Robbie doesn't want to bring up the past, but Renee wants to know the answers (that's why she a detective🫡) and address these issues. Do you agree with them?

I keep seeing all these posts about how Nandermo can still win and guys, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Nandermo isn’t happening. Not the way you want it to, anyway. And the reason I know that is because the showrunner of What We Do in the Shadows said this while promoting season 6 (source):

I don’t know how s6 is going to shake out, but I feel fairly confident saying that Nandor and Guillermo are not going to end up in an explicitly romantic or sexual relationship. It’s just not happening. I know I can’t stop the inevitable shitshow that ensues when WWDITS ends without nandor and guillermo kissing, but I just want some of you guys to temper your expectations for the finale, because I really don’t think it’s going to be what you want it to be.

There’s a quiet murmur of sound in the room, movement and conversation. Gu Yiran waits, lets it wash over him until he can make sense of it. Two people speaking in low voices, the occasional lilt into a question before the sound dips back down into [murmuring]. Ding Guozhu, and Zhang Xiaoguang. The quiet metal sound of a thermos opening, and Ding Guozhu’s voice cuts out for a moment.  Zheng Bei’s voice isn’t there.  Neither is Yaoyao’s, Gu Yiran reminds himself.   It’s only that — The last thing Gu Yiran remembers, concretely, with any certainty, is Zheng Bei. The look on Zheng Bei’s face, bursting in through the door, the way his expression changed when he saw Gu Yiran, something almost frantic in his eyes. The very last thing Gu Yiran remembers is the shape of Gu Yiran’s name in Zheng Bei’s mouth — not Gu-laoshi, for once, but Gu Yiran. To Gu Yiran’s right, the door to the hospital room unlatches.  Ding Guozhu and Zhang Xiaoguang’s conversation quiets as the door swings open. First, Yaoyao’s voice, “I bet you’re all starving! Lao Jiu—” and then footsteps coming toward Gu Yiran’s hospital bed, too light and quick to be Zheng Bei’s. There’s a hurried shushing from the corner. The door closes too fast to admit a second person.  Gu Yiran’s eyes are already open. He’s already disappointed.

from the third draft! hopefully the penultimate draft - at least the one scene i have drafted feels like it's only about a draft worth of revision from being done, so i'm optimistic. i'm trying a new thing where i am simultaneously constructing the "outline" / very chaotic list of events by scene for the third draft while also starting to write it. i think i'm liking it so far.

How did you and your gf meet!!

We met at a language course when we both just had moved to the same country. At first I thought it was a bit annoying because she kept speaking to me in English (we are here to LEARN a New Language!!! 😤😤) but after I accepted her attempts at getting to know me she quickly became a very important person to me. I was already drawn to her from the very beginning tho, she shone like a sun as the only other butch (or even remotely GNC) woman at that entire language school. Also when we locked eyes first day of class we've found out that both looked at the other and basically thought "okay dyke" <3

A month or so later she managed to spell out to me that she liked me, and after 3-5 business days while mulling it over I had to admit that maybe it is not that common to be so allured by your friend's tits and maybe I had feelings for her also. I can be very dumb with feelings but luckily she's kind and patient and brave <3
