It was night again, and for Koku, that meant it was time to end his day the only way he knew how—with a casual evening routine of serial murder, and waking up with a sense of nausea from the pit, or even maybe leaving this place. He can’t say what will happen, although deep down he knows he’s just saying that to keep his hopes up.

The particular dickhead he was stalking took a detour today, however—right into Crimson Lane. This was kind of bad; although Koku was in his 20s, he definitely felt like he stuck out like a sore thumb, as he waited outside the cabaret that his eventual victim entered.

Koku knew this waiting thing could take a while; it was just a part of the process. Though, he could have murdered him much earlier…but too many witnesses were bad. He couldn’t continue his killing spree if he was in handcuffs. So, he waited outside, in a place he knew he didn’t belong.
